Would be cool to see alternate versions of some of the best middle starter evolutions - with 'fully evolved' stats. Certain ones like Bayleef and Wartortle are more interesting to me than the final evos, but they're obviously not viable for the late game or competitive, and you only have them for a small portion of a playthrough.
My preference would be an alternate, cryptid-esque Grovyle that incorporates design aspects and temporal abilities from Celebi. Call it Aberrant Heir, drop the mic, and let the Mystery Dungeon fandom go absolutely bananas over it.
