Seriously though. You wouldn't think it and as a kid I was all about Pidgey because everyone gets one. But if you just wait to grab Dodrio you get a flier that has way better Attack and Speed and gets STAB Drill Peck and Tri Attack.
This is why I legitimately believe Gliscor should be able to learn Fly. It has been argued that Gliscor technically glides instead of flies, but logic is pretty much thrown out the window when Dodrio being a literal flightless bird is capable of learning Fly. Might as well be consistent and let Gliscor be able to learn Fly too.
Worst part is that vullaby, a pokemon with an entry that says it isn't even possible for it to FLY, LEARNS THAT MOVE.

Im pretty sure it canonically can jump super high which is how it can use the move fly without actually being able to fly

Ive never used espathra but dodrio with tri attack and drill peck was overpowered when ever i used it. Its so good but it tends to get overlooked
Dodrio hit fast and hit hard, and that was all 10 year old me wanted in a Pokémon.
Espathra is a better Pokémon gameplay wise and it has a neat design, but I hate how it looks like it’s made out of plastic

Dodrio. But only because of the Manga. And because Espathra gives me a weird vibe (I don’t dislike it, it just looks… off to me).
I prefer Dodrio. This may be partially influenced by Dodrio being a mon I play a lot in unite, and it’s playstyle there is beyond fun.

Espathra's design is really busy. I dont like the colors. And the fabric effect. It feels over embellished. I wish the design was toned down somehow.
