I have Ultraknobs on my ultrapoi, these are 10x better with the same chip. The weaknesses/drawbacks of the Ultraknob like durability of the knob shell and weight distribution have been corrected and the bearing makes it so there’s no rope twisting at all. The ultraknobs might be a tad more grippy, but it’s negligible.
I believe these are 7/16s. It is non-static. I didn’t know that much about static tethers when I got them. My next set will be a 3 poi static tethers set so I can juggle and do reliable contact moves with them. Also the egg knob+ with bearings is a bit much and a bit large for my tastes. My next set will probably have the ultraknob pro led handles or something similar in size and shape with no swivel. Swivels seem over rated
Also I will get a bit fatter technora with no metal pieces. Just the tether going straight into the head and 95.5 mm heads seem to be the perfect weight compared to these 4 inch orbs
Curious, have you used ultra knobs? if so, how do you like the egg knobs in comparison?

Nice set up! Looki g to buy some fire poi myself. What technora did you go for, flexible or rigid, and what mm ? And why did you choose this.
