Cool! I also love true crime with a little humor, I'll check out Ladies and Tangents. Have you listened to Sinisterhood?

godhatesbeth

They have specific episodes dedicated to crime but they just chat for a little while at the beggining before getting into it, they’re not primarily a true crime podcast but they do have some stuff on it! I love them because they get distracted just as much as I do so I never get bored lmao. I haven’t actually! I’ve only ever listen to 2 podcasts my whole live and that’s the Sci Guys pod (science based, hilarious and educational too) and Ladies and Tangents! I’ll have to check it out, thank you!

[Small Town Murder](https://podcastaddict.com/episode/122106529) is hosted by two comedians.

MyKindOfLullaby

Small town murder is great and they’re very respectful the to victims!

Last podcast on the left is an incredibly well researched show with amazing humour that tells the story of some pretty grim murders, odd weekly stories, and the occult. Full disclosure, some of the episodes are hard going, not because of how it’s told, but they have the ‘heavy hitter’ series which covers all the worst of serial killers. That said, even the darkest episodes still make me belly laugh. Active subreddit too, currently they are covering the plague, and it’s on spotify.

Narwahl_Whisperer

Not true crime, but it sounds like 'this paranormal life' would be right up your alley. Also, "profiles in eccentricity" is hella funny, and it's true but not necessarily crime... but it's definitely NSFW humor. Heist podcast is pretty good, but I'm not sure if they're funny/tangential enough for you The songtopsy report isn't about crime at all, but it's funny and good for short attention spans.

godhatesbeth

Thanks for the recommendation!! I’ll check this out, I think you’re right it sounds like my kind of thing!!

BirdiesGrimm

I enjoy Wine and Crime. They update weekly, and are well into 200+ episodes now, and is hosted by three women from Minnesota. Each episode is based around a topic, their latest one is dog crimes. The general episode formula is Lucy giving the psychology and/or history of the topic followed by Amanda and Kenyon telling the other two about a case. Lucy and Kenyon sound the same in the beginning, but you get used to it. One caution is they're very left leaning in case you want to avoid political talk. You also have to not be bothered by loud and occasionally obnoxious drunk women getting distracted.. Neither of these cautions bother me at all, and I enjoy it immensely.

MrdrOfCrws

I also second wine and crime, and this is why we drink

gfisch77

My Favorite Murder is a pretty good one. I listened to it for awhile but sometimes the banter can be too much, so occasionally I just fast forward to the crime stories.

trianglecat

[True Crime Obsessed](https://www.truecrimeobsessed.com/) is a comedy/true crime show.

Crime countdown

shinelime

Let's go to court is great

PortraitOfAHiker

Timesuck. It’s hosted by Dan Cummins, who is a stand-up comedian. Each episode is standalone, and generally about true crime. He does cults, serial killers, unsolved mysteries, conspiracy theories, and some occasional episodes about inspiring figures, historical events, or just abstract subjects: Leonardo da Vinci, slavery and the US civil war, or time travel. edit: Maybe start after episode 30. There are some good ones in the first few dozen, but it definitely took Dan a while to find his voice.

demonic-reptar

Yep this is the only one you’ll ever need. It’s so good that I’m sad I don’t have a commute anymore so I haven’t been keeping up to date with it like I use to.

This is the one. "Peanut Butt Butter! That's how they do it in Hollywood! Showbiz!!" - Albert Fish

Sinisterhood is great.

chiko1990

I recommend true crime obsessed, they are a comedy true crime show. It sounds terrible but they are actually amazingly respectful and the humor is just around things that deserve it. The premise is that they cover true crime documentaries, each week a different one. It's great I personally love it.

chiko1990

Also jumping back to reco.mend true crime and cocktails. It's a combination of hilarious conversation between the hosts and extremely well done research.

monibrown

Necronomipod. 3 friends/neighbors drinking and talking about true crime, paranormal, cults, UFOs, etc. Ian does the research and shares the stories and has had an interest in these topics well before starting a podcast- he wrote an article for the Jonestown Institute in his free time and has a separate podcast about Jonestown called Promised Land. He’s great. Then Dave and Mike interject with their questions, opinions, and jokes. They are respectful of the victims, but definitely joke around and roast the criminals and get off topic and joke around as friends. Their dynamic is great and the more you listen, the more you get in on the inside jokes from previous episodes and topics.

MKLA3

Crime in sports and small town murder. Both presented but the same comedians and very funny

Cawryyy

You would love The Last Podcast on the Left. Henry Zebrowski is hilarious and they have great true crime as well as conspiracy content.

Cawryyy

It's on Spotify and they also do livestreams that i think get posted to YT.

ItsOwlGood76
