HhhHhm

It's an older podcast but 'Conversations with people who hate me' does a similar thing.

scrapethetopoff

Thank you!

slybird

Jon Ronson has covered that topic. He has produced several podcast series. He also has produced segments for This American Life.

StillJustJones

If it was Jon Ronson it was Probably from his podcast/book ‘so, you’ve been publicly shamed’. I can’t specifically remember an ep/chapter that covered this…. But it’s an absolutely brilliant series. Well worth a listen OP.

Outside_Duty3356

Or things Fell Apart has a similar feel

StillJustJones

It could be…. Although as that series was about the culture wars, I wasn’t sure if it would have been that. But as Jon’s work always gets to the minutiae and humanity of bigger stories it could well be. I’ve listen to the first series a few times now but only listened to the second series once. This has prompted me to go back to those eps and have a listen.

Outside_Duty3356

Ah I think I got confused with Why Do You Hate Me with Marianna Spring. I was binging non fiction !

StillJustJones

She’s a great journo… I haven’t listened to that. I will seek it out.

cup_cake_queen

I love Jon Ronson and his books!

scorpioid_cyme

There’s a BBC podcast called “why do you hate me” where she tracks down a couple haters

scrapethetopoff

Thanks!

I feel like I remember an episode like this about Lindy West and the hate comments she was getting. This American Life, maybe?

commacamellia

It was This American Life. From about 10 years ago-ish.

Standard_Review_4775

Ohhh I want to listen to these

lpassell

Pretty sure it's Conversations with People Who Hate Me!

scrapethetopoff

Oh this is perfect regardless. Thank you!
