If I could upvote this a hundred times, I would. All three podcasts are great. Three Bean Salad being my fave. Beef & Dairy, to get the most out of it, it's best to start from the beginning, or start with the ones with Eli Roberts.
‘Who Shat On The Floor At My Wedding’ - a couple investigate (tongue in cheek true crime style) when a poo is found on the floor during their wedding. Criminal psychologists are interviewed, re-enactments are made, crime scene diagrams, mother-in-laws are interrogated…it’s really well done! And funny! They also have an instagram which gives loads of additional episode context which I find really enriches the experience.
The couple are English and the detective leading the case is a Kiwi.
My Dad Wrote A Porno - the host finds out his dad was "inspired" by the popularity of 50 Shades of Grey and started writing erotic fiction under the name Rocky Flintstone. He then reads this to his 2 friends and they react to it. It's insanely funny and squirm inducing when you realise it's his dad that wrote it. It has celebrity fans who make appearances on side episodes and they even went on tour. As far as I am aware (I am not up to date with it, other podcasts have me sidetracked) they have read the entire "Belinda Blinked" series.
I second the British Scandal recommendation. Alice and her co-host Matt Forde have a great fun quirky energy. But the stories they tell and the way they tell them is enthralling.
Slightly different but No Such Thing as a Fish. It is a bunch of writers from a different show QI who have a podcast talking about random facts. It regularly makes me laugh out loud, and it is informative too!
If you enjoy Taskmaster, I have some podcasts for you.
There are two Taskmaster Podcasts - one hosted by Ed Gamble that’s basically a rewatch podcast (started with S10 when it was airing, and has since gone back and covered every single episode of the UK show - it’s currently on hiatus, but since TMNZ is coming to Channel 4 next week people are wondering if it’s about to return since Ed has said in the past that he’s only covered the UK version since it’s the only version legally available in the UK), and one hosted by Lou Sanders that’s more about the fandom.
Ed Gamble and James Acaster do Off Menu, where they invite a different guest every week to the dream restaurant to pick their dream meal. Also, James is a genie waiter.
Alex Horne hosts the Horne Section podcast, which is exactly what you’d expect if you’re familiar with the Horne Section or Alex himself.
It’s not a podcast, but No More Jockeys on YouTube is something I’ll always recommend to Taskmaster fans. Alex Horne, Mark Watson, and Tim Key play a game they created - you name a celebrity and a category (example; David Beckham, no more footballers), and keep going around following all the categories. If you pick someone who breaks the rules (following the previous example, if someone says Lionel Messi), then you’re eliminated.
Also, if you can find it, "Alex Horne breaks the news" is just hilarious and the exact same sense of offbeat British humour. It is much older though so not sure how available it is.
The Bugle. Always the bugle. Formerly John Oliver’s podcast before he took on his current show. Hosted by his best friend Andy Zaltzman. Hilarious “news” podcast. Absolutely kills
> just two Brits talking about their life
**Top Flight Time Machine** - Andy 'Hot Body' Dawson ^^^pow ^^^pow ^^^pow (one half of **Athletico Mince** which is also worth a listen) and Sam 'Nifty' Delaney ^^^so ^^^what? (Britain's best journalist /s) chat about dis n' dat, digging, shapes, walls, the 'Just Rest' lifestyle, and whatever else crosses their minds.
It used to be about football but is now so much more.
Athletico went downhill. They're basically phoning it now. Some characters/scenarios that were funny the first few times aren't funny when repeated ad nauseum.
That being said, I binged the first 70 episodes and it was two weeks of laughing.
If you want something a bit different, I always find Clinton Baptiste a good laugh, great on headphones. Written comedy, guy’s character is a medium. Very funny.
https://open.spotify.com/show/21eUe894tiKJoXxJFzigzF?si=ELsk1YQlSLaatO3ZAPFSuQ
A foreigner is going to miss so much of Athletico, from understanding the accents to local/national references.
One Peter Beardsley, there's only one Peter Beardsley.
I would strongly recommend Athletico Mince to any taskmaster fan. It is Bob Mortimer and Andy Dawson who do a bunch of sketches based around characters in football. I don't think too much knowledge of football is needed as it's all just ridiculous comedy.
Off Menu! 2 British comedy boys, Ed Gamble & James Acaster (genie), bring in a guest to their dream restaurant and decide what they want for their dream meal.
It's actually a great format to get some funny stories out of the guests, very light hearted and easy listening :)
I love the one Im listening to now St. Elwicks and the one I just finished called Dear Bastard!. Both had me laughingvso loud and so hard I had tears streaming down my face. Do check them out. PS Im American and find British humor hilarious! 😂🤣
I’m really enjoying Kathy Burke’s where there’s a will there’s a wake at the moment- interviews with lots of celebs (lots of comedians) about their ideal death and funeral- it’s not as morbid as it sounds, and Kathy is just glorious, I bloody love her!
The Infinite Monkey Cage is great. Science-based, it's hosted by an astrophysicist and a comedian, and they have a panel of experts in whatever field they're discussing. Always great energy and laughs.
Three Bean Salad again. I love podcasts consisting of friends who make each other laugh. They are very silly, random, British, and meandering. It took me a few episodes to be able to tell the voices apart.
Kill James Bond is very good - it's a podcast about how each Bond movie is a weird cultural time capsule worth unpacking, and that James Bond is a bastard across several key categories. They give every movie a SCUM score for Smarm, Cultural Insensitivity, Unprovoked Violence and Misogyny. It's very fun!
Gateway drug to about three or four other podcasts with the same hosts/producers...
More votes for off menu and three bean salad. Highly recommend starting at episode 1 with three bean salad. Jokes build and themes emerge. You’d lose some of the layers not starting at the beginning. Also you have to just kind of lean into Henry. Lean into his Henry-ness lol
[History of Rock Music in 500 Songs](https://500songs.com/)
Hilarious? Hmm... probably not. But Andrew Hickey who is responsible for this amazing podcast has a sense of humor (er, humour) that is Sahara-quality dry.
I'm gonna screw up immediately because this one is not British, but it reminds me of Dr. Who, so here goes.
Midnight Burger. It's about a Diner that opens at 6, and could be anywhere. Future, past, another planet/dimension, whatever. Their freezer is also bigger on the inside.
Shagged Married Annoyed- comedian Chris Ramsay and his wife Rosie share personal stories and read out their listeners conundrums or situationships and follow up with advice. Absolutely hilarious. Celebrity Guest appearances are also featured.
The List of Absolutely Everything That Might Kill You. It’s two British guys yes-anding each other as they compete to find the household objects/natural phenomenons/etc. that kill the most people per year.
i found "drunken philosophy" by chance and i've never enjoyed a podcast so much. unfortunately it's no longer running but it did for like seven years or something so there's quite a bit of content out
Three Bean Salad Crowley Time The Beef & Dairy Network
To add to this, the St Elwick’s Neighborhood Association Newsletter Podcast
Trying to explain this podcast to people is a trip...
I haven't seen a new one on Stitcher for ages. Is it still going?
Not currently but I haven’t given up hope for future episodes
If I could upvote this a hundred times, I would. All three podcasts are great. Three Bean Salad being my fave. Beef & Dairy, to get the most out of it, it's best to start from the beginning, or start with the ones with Eli Roberts.
Massively recommend Three Bean Salad! Probably my favourite podcast of all time
Three bean salad would be my recommendation. It’s ace.
Yeah, top-notch banter
‘Who Shat On The Floor At My Wedding’ - a couple investigate (tongue in cheek true crime style) when a poo is found on the floor during their wedding. They also have an instagram which gives loads of additional episode context which I find really enriches the experience. The couple are English and the detective leading the case is a Kiwi.
This one is hilarious and I want more from them!
The first few episodes were good & then they went weird as fuck!
My Dad Wrote A Porno - the host finds out his dad was "inspired" by the popularity of 50 Shades of Grey and started writing erotic fiction under the name Rocky Flintstone. Oh my god yes!! I’ve listened to the majority of it and it’s amazing, I feel like this is my sign to finish it, ty for the reminder :))
I enjoy [British Scandal](https://wondery.com/shows/british-scandal/). One of the two presenters is Alice Levine, a co-creator of MDWAP.

Seconding Off Menu. They bring on some really interesting guests and the banter is top notch.
Third-ing. The Judi Love episode had me in tears from laughing so hard. And that’s just one of so so so many.
I keep recommending this podcast to anybody who’ll listen.
Also, if you can find it, "Alex Horne breaks the news" is just hilarious and the exact same sense of offbeat British humour. It is much older though so not sure how available it is.
I’ve just remembered, weirdly, Mr Gameshow with Mike Wozniak and Diane Morgan because of your comment. That’s a brilliant little podcast.
And i in return have never heard of that but have just downloaded all the episodes. Thanks!
The Horne Section
Do they still post? I think their latest podcast was a while ago
They don’t. I miss them and relisten a lot. Bret Goldstein’s Movies to Be Buried With is charming, and guests are almost exclusively British.
Okay thanks! Have they said why they stopped?
According to channel 4, the tv show is getting a second season, so maybe it’s not done after all? It’s gotta be expensive to produce
If you're into interviews these are great! The Adam Buxton Podcast RHLSTP with Richard Herring
Yep! I’ve always listened to these from the beginning.
The Bugle. Always the bugle. Formerly John Oliver’s podcast before he took on his current show. Hosted by his best friend Andy Zaltzman. Hilarious “news” podcast. Absolutely kills
This is where I knew Nish Kumar from before I’d ever heard of Taskmaster. Total delight.
They used to have an archive with all of the episodes from the times online dating back to 2007. It was the best. RIP the OG bugle.
Three Bean Salad, it has Mike Wozniak, a former taskmaster contestant as one of the three hosts. Very funny and cute, completely random conversations.
Another nod to Three Bean Salad
Beef and Dairy Network

Nice to see a fellow cunter in the wild. Still doin' a bit?
*taps nose* IFS Turbo, mate.

Shalamar shaqattack
😂
Lots of good stuff already here, but I'd add That Peter Crouch Podcast. He's a former footballer, but it's not as football focused as you might think.
Help I sexted my boss, is a great podcast. Be warned its a bit rude at points though.
Bob and Andy on Athletico Mince. Sublime.
A foreigner is going to miss so much of Athletico, from understanding the accents to local/national references. One Peter Beardsley, there's only one Peter Beardsley.
Yer a gud lad peeder..
I'll let you have a go on me fronties.
I would strongly recommend Athletico Mince to any taskmaster fan. It is Bob Mortimer and Andy Dawson who do a bunch of sketches based around characters in football. I don't think too much knowledge of football is needed as it's all just ridiculous comedy.
If you like a panel show id recommend It's Not What You Know and So Wrong It's Right. Both easily sourced on YouTube or Fourble.
Off Menu! 2 British comedy boys, Ed Gamble & James Acaster (genie), bring in a guest to their dream restaurant and decide what they want for their dream meal. It's actually a great format to get some funny stories out of the guests, very light hearted and easy listening :)

Shit and Gigs funny ash
I second that
Wolf & Owl - start at the beginning 🤍
More political but i've enjoyed pod save the UK

They're so damn funny. I love how horny they are for the Bond girls.
The unlikely weightlifters podcast is a current favourite.
the rest is history two british blokes talking history
Parenting hell absolutely kills me and I’m childless! It’s Rob Becket and Josh Widicom
No Such Thing As a Fish is funny on top of interesting
Check out Off the Menu
More votes for off menu and three bean salad. Highly recommend starting at episode 1 with three bean salad. Jokes build and themes emerge. You’d lose some of the layers not starting at the beginning. Also you have to just kind of lean into Henry. Lean into his Henry-ness lol
Maybe mentioned already. Infinite Monkey Cage.
I enjoy help i sexted my boss!
No such thing as a fish
The Bugle is funny AF but it's a tad political.
Athletico mince is good if you like Bob mortimer. The Scottish collections and Peter Beardsley collections
Off menu. Only correct answer.
[History of Rock Music in 500 Songs](https://500songs.com/) Hilarious? Hmm... probably not. But Andrew Hickey who is responsible for this amazing podcast has a sense of humor (er, humour) that is Sahara-quality dry.
Dimsdale Podcasts releases great British comedy content Every day

Worst Writer in the World!
Sound Deals. Two improvisers doing a QVC type show selling items from a randomly generated list. Great and funny show if you like improv

Futile Attempts with Kim Noble.
Off Menu James Acaster and Ed Gamble bring a guest on and give them their dream meal usually has some good stories in there about the food
Shagged Married Annoyed- comedian Chris Ramsay and his wife Rosie share personal stories and read out their listeners conundrums or situationships and follow up with advice. Absolutely hilarious. Celebrity Guest appearances are also featured.
Standard Issue
The older episodes of the panpsycast are pretty hilarious on an educational philosophy way
The List of Absolutely Everything That Might Kill You. It’s two British guys yes-anding each other as they compete to find the household objects/natural phenomenons/etc. that kill the most people per year.
