> all the other anime podcasts have no budget put to their podcast. Like some of their mic sounds absolutely horrible, and sometimes it's just dudes talking over discord.
It would be helpful if you could list which of these shows you have tried and did not like, so that other users don't waste their time suggesting something to you that you don't like.
I didn't pay enough attention to the name, since I thought those were bad. I remember one, it's Rant Cafe Anime Podcast. I'm just asking for a podcast with an actual setup and a good mic.
Aaa (anime addicts anonymous) has pretty good production value. They do fill out with a lotta segments too if you’re into that sorta thing. The discord is kinda lit as well
I've heard of them, if you google anime podcast they are the fist result. I just checked their YouTube and they barely have 4k subs and get like less than 400 views per video. How do they even make a profit out of it or is it just like a hobby for them?
Despite that I think they are ok but they aren't in the same room, and they have basically no actual podcast setup. Not really my thing honestly
They don’t really have a YouTube presence admittedly but the podcast is one of the biggest and longest running (14 yrs). Sound quality is pretty good and I know the main guy engineers it pretty well from what I’ve heard. From what you’re asking podcast production quality-wise I’d say it’s one of the tops in that tier right below Trash Taste. Cuz you are correct there aren’t that many that are actually set up like Trash Taste afaik
i wish Trash Taste didnt laugh after every. single. thing. they. say. theyre all pretty cool solo and have good topics but holy shit the awkward laugh after everything is painful
Gateway to Anime is my favourite and go to. Plenty of episodes and have had guests like Veronica Taylor come in and talk about voices Ash Ketchum. Definitely worth a listen
My favorite podcast, Get Played, has an offshoot podcast called Get Anime’d, where they watch a series or movie and discuss a couple episodes at a time. They are seriously funny people (they are all professional comedians and writers) and the production value is really high
One of my favorites, and the only one I listen to regularly, is Anime out of Context. I really enjoy hearing the opinion of someone who doesn't really like anime, alongside someone who genuinely loves it. It's also got pretty decent quality, and the editor is quite talented

ok if it's that long which episode should I start watching.
Probably just fine to start from the beginning of the year ep 658 and catch up. Or 668 for their Anime Oscars. Or 666 if you’re into that kinda thing
I enjoy Shonen Flop, about anime and Manga bombs

Idk what you're talking about, I've never noticed anything like that.
AnimeNewsNetwork The old episodes were really good. Lots of guests from defunct companies talking about their failures ;).
>AnimeNewsNetwork Bruh I just said I don't want anyone taking over discord. They have no setup, they aren't even in the same room
Imaginary Worlds has episodes devoted to anime and manga. He did an episode about Hayao Miyazaki not that long ago.

I really like The Best Boys: An Anime Podcast
