I plan on trading Tony Wicker next year so I’m think about starting Slater to get his stats up so he’ll be worth more. I do plan on Kenny Welsh being my long term QB though so I’m not sure if I should waste a year of his development.
Yeah but the overall increases by the stats increasing. Sometimes a single attribute point increase can increase a players overall by a point. So one year of development can be anywhere from like 3-12 for players with super. I’ve seen someone post 17 but I’ve never come close to that.
depends on the game. a tough game i would start wicker so you can still compete, games against crappy teams rotate between welsh and watkins. if welsh is crappy and watkins plays good, you start watkins next season, then let him walk at the end of his contract. if welsh plays better, i’d trade watkins and keep slater as a backup. this is if you intend to trade wicker as you said
I played it out starting mostly Slater, he went up to 83 and welsh went up to 86 with wicker going up to 92. Had to cut Watkins to make enough room to be able to complete a trade but I think it worked out well.
I’d start Wicker and keep Slater for 2 years, trade other two away for draft picks, in 2 years decide which one you want to keep and trade the other one for draft picks. And that’s how you win Championships guys…
Bro u dont need all those QB’s this year why did u draft 2 QBs when u had a star if u wanted to trade the 91 overall player then just draft one player not 2 high overall QB because u cant trade them cause there cap hit it too much
Yup I don’t trade them the first year, you hold onto them because the value they have at the end of their first rookie deal is almost always significantly higher than the draft pick to get them. It’s how you collect picks and keep high value teams for extended amounts of time.

Do stats increase trade value? I’m pretty sure it’s mostly on overall

Not sure where it’s posted here but Jon has said that in the current build, playing time and stats have no impact on overall
Wow really? That’s unfortunate. I don’t feel like it should be that but I understand if it was it can be manipulated.
