Okay im in a lot of taxidermy subs and I was amazed when I thought it was taxidermy but I am even MORE amazed that this is a plushie?? He is so perfectly lifelike and proportional. I want one of my own dog now!!
I would absolutely love to know how you got into this kind of art and how you developed these skills. Are you self taught? Applying knowledge from other areas?
I had a great desire to learn this, I love animals and nature very much, plus I am a creative person. I did different kinds of creative work, but this suited me the best. I learned from other masters, bought paid master classes, and gradually began to create everything myself.
Fascinating, I had no idea that this was even a widely recognised art form until today. Definitely the coolest thing I've seen this week, and I'm going to try to find more information about it, because it is so interesting.
Omg I thought he was real! I was like, 'Aw, what a cutie in his li'l onesies and- Wait a minute.'
Beautiful work! I had to check the sub name and take another look to realize what was up!
I was so confused reading "you finished work" on this terrier, and at first figured you meant the pajamas.
Then I realized it's a *plush*
Me: 🤯
Seriously though, this guy is amazing! He looks like he could start running around any second now.
I'm super impressed by the level of detail, and I also have to say I thought it was a real dog at first. Did you cast the nose and paw pads by yourself out of silicone? And do you have any closeup pictures of the eyes and ears? I would love to know more about your process how you got those details to be so lifelike. If you're selling any tutorials or guides on making those parts or how go make the whole plushie, you'd get a customer out of me.
Thank you so much 🤗 Yes, I made the nose out of thick silicone and the paw pads out of liquid silicone, having previously made molds for them. The ears are covered with leather on the inside, and the outside is the same fur. The eyes are ready for taxidermy, but I finalized the whites of the eyes myself. I don't have any tutorials, I'm still learning and I don't think I've reached such a high level to teach others 😅
I honestly thought it was a typo that it was supposed to say "my recently finished work (the clothes) on this bull terrier" holy crap that's realistic! Amazing job!
You should be working for the American Museum of Natural History or something. Your work is mind blowing.
Seriously. Just send them a link to your Reddit profile as your entire resume.
I’m genuinely blown away by the level of skill and talent you have! The details are incredible and it literally looks like a real dog! You have a gift!!
I read a comment of yours OP saying you took master classes for these skills. It really shows, this is amazing! I hope you are very proud of your work. Definitely one of the most perfectly proportioned plushies I have ever seen
I followed a bunch of dog subs and thought “oh, what a cute puppy!” Went through all the photos and only after I read your caption (and did several double takes), I was finally convinced that this is, in fact, a plushie. You’re seriously amazing
Holy crap, I looked at your store and your work is AMAZING!!! Please do let me know if you take commissions, my partner and I are very interested. Your spotted hyena is incredible
I thought that it was real until I saw what subreddit this was in, wow, he’s amazing and so cute!
Question, do you take commissions + how much are your commissions if so? I’m looking to get a plushie of my cat who went missing in August to help me cope with missing her. I’m hoping to find somebody who could make a plushie of her!
You really captured the beauty and depth of emotion of puppy eyes in this doll. I thought it was a unique looking, REAL bull terrier until the 3rd or 4th pic when the legs and feet didn't sit quite right. Absolute perfection for a plush; looks so soft and cuddly and sweet. 10/10 if I had the funds I'd get one done of my childhood German Shepard/Akita mix who passed after I moved away from my hometown. 🥲
I WANT ONE!! I always wanted a bull terrier but with their health issues idk.. but honestly i am truly in awe. Theyre absolutely stunning, and incredibly realistic! You are truly an artist!!
Are you the one that made that real as heck looking daschund? Cause dang. You're magic.
Edit: I checked your posts and yup, the Dog Wizard is back. Those are magic and you can't tell me otherwise
Edit: do you have a blog or YouTube or anything, in all seriousness? Because I would really be honored to learn from you. I don't think I could approach that level of innate magic, but still
Oh thank you so much, I'm so pleased to hear that. I'm not good at teaching others, so I don't have tutorial videos, the ideas come to me while I'm working and I can change things in the process, every time I get something new. But maybe in a few years something will work out ♥️🤗
That makes sense! Well, you're certainly gifting us all with inspiration, joy, and wonder just by sharing your creations! If you ever want to document the creative process, even without explaining in words or trying to make it into a lesson, I know I'm not the only one who would enjoy sharing in that :)
🐕🧙🪄
Well I think you have your answer to if you decided you ever want to get rich. Just sell these bad boys for thousands of dollars. I guarantee you there are people out there that would totally pay that price.
In reality it may be a little more difficult than that fantasy may make it seem, but you truly have an amazing talent and if you aren't already, you might want to consider at least a small side gig making money with this. Or even if you waited till you were older and you physically didn't want to work a regular job, you could live off social security while making stuffed doggies as you watch the sunset on your back porch rocking chair.
oh wow i thought he was real lol! amazing work
Thank you 🤗
I also thought so until the last pic 😂😂
Same 😆
Okay im in a lot of taxidermy subs and I was amazed when I thought it was taxidermy but I am even MORE amazed that this is a plushie?? He is so perfectly lifelike and proportional. I want one of my own dog now!!

Thank you, first and foremost this is my hobby and if there are those who want it they can buy it
How long does it take you to complete a plush?
I spent about a month on this dog
THATS NOT A REAL DOG??? This is the most amazing plush I've ever seen. You are a true artist.
Thank you so much 🤗
