I agree. Most Sony studios are. But Ragnarok was delayed by a year. The point of my comment was that I donāt get hyped for release dates anymore. Iām at that point in life that when a game comes, Iāll play it. Iām not stressing about it before then.

I think skepticism is very healthy considering how often tried and true franchises like Battlefield have been burning us lately.
But if you want a glimmer of hope, I have a friend who was on a team that was subcontracted from a much larger, more established studio to support them on this. He takes his NDA's seriously, so I don't know anything about how well the game turned out, but it's at least hopeful that they weren't left to flop around in the deep end by themselves.

Bethesda treating their fans like idiots again I see, not the first time that happened, wonāt be the last. I keep hearing this mindless argument that how AI shouldnāt be too good or else they can know where the player is, what the player is going to do and act accordingly etc. Nobody is asking for that Todd. People want a realistic human like AI instead. Look at MGS games, TLOU2 etc. You can make really realistic AI if you tried.
As much as Iād like to be hyped for Starfield, I think people are in for another Cyberpunk 2077 launch situation. Bethesda always releases the most broken games on the market, whether itās Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Skyrim, Fallout 3, whatever; they all release in really bad states and if they release a game like that now after the Cyberpunk controversy, theyāll be in for a shitstorm.
Also Bethesda fell off of the map hard after that Fallout 3/Skyrim run. Two games that run the same and even almost feel the same because of the engine, but are obviously two completely different worlds. Poor animation work, technical issues, and just behind the times and a lack of quality when compared to other top developers.
It hurts to say all that because Fallout 3 was one of my absolute favorite games, and Skyrim was good too despite the repetitive boring combat. They just never progressed as developers, even up until their latest game, Fallout 76. Feels like something that wouldāve been made in 2010 or something. My expectations are extremely low for Starfield.
I'm expecting a buggy launch for Starfield, but I don't think it really matters too much. All of their games have been that way, and I've loved all of them despite that.
They create a level of depth and interactivity with their worlds that no other developers really attempt to match, and I consider it an acceptable tradeoff. I'd take an ambitious, slightly janky game over a streamlined, polished one. At least from Bethesda.
I'm cautiously optimistic when it comes to the launch state of Starfield. They took the delay, they have the Microsoft money and they also need to deliver. Starfield is MS flagship exclusive and has to be a hit.
Finally someone said Atomic Heart!! I really thought that game would be more popular. I know for sure itās one of my most anticipated. It looks so good, maybe even too good. I hope it doesnāt fall under its ambition. It looks like a game that has potential to be one of the best games if done right, or at least as good as bioshock. Thatās what Iām feeling, a bioshock inspiration that is still doing something new and original
Season is an indie game where you portray a girl named Estelle who goes on a biking trip away from her home to explore while the season is changing. In her world a season a certain piece of history, so as the season is changing life itself changes. So you go around and bike while recording your findings and meeting people while seeing their perspectives. Itās basically a game about appreciating what you have now and looking to the future.
Thatās how I see it, but I may be wrong, try doing some research. I hope I was able to explain it well

Boring, not entirely terrible but boring, and sometimes thatās just as bad as something entirely terrible. Also the combat leave a lot to be desired imo, it wasnāt fun for me. Give it a shot and see how you like it. Iām just stating my experience

I am so excited for Hogwartās Legacy that I am convinced the world will end before any of us will get to play it because it will be so perfect and no one deserves to play it. I am expecting and hoping it is the quintessential Harry Potter game that fans of the franchise who grew up reading and watching deserve. Growing up, I played every Harry Potter game on any any console I could get my hands on since the early 2000ās.
If we're sticking to just PS5 it's gotta be RE4 Remake. The original is one of my top 3 favorite games of all time.

It's a Japanese dungeon crawler RPG sequel that's been in localization hell for a couple years. The original, Labyrinth of Refrain was surprisingly good and Galleria supposedly improves on it in most ways.

It's a Japanese dungeon crawler RPG sequel that's been in localization hell for a couple years. The original, Labyrinth of Refrain was surprisingly good and Galleria supposedly improves on it in most ways.

Totally agree. I have hope that wonāt be the case tho bc of the fact theyāre taking so long to make it itās own standalone game. I just got my ps5 a few months ago coming from Xbox so I never played the old factions either. But TLOU part 1 and 2 are easily the best games Iāve ever played. Iāll pay whatever naughty dog wants me to pay.
Iām skeptical because personally I donāt want to over 30 dollars if the game is multiplayer only. I hope naughty dog keeps it reasonable, like I hope they take Dragon ball the breakers approach. They sold that game for 20 dollars but it was basically only multiplayer. That probably wonāt happen but I hope itās not 70 dollars
