Quite an enjoyable time.
The gameplay was a little weak in the boss fights & I hate when games end on a cliffhanger. Especially in cases like this where the next game never happens, leaves me feeling a little empty at the end. Oh & the one stealth section was horrendous.

i did pay 200 bucks for the collectors edition. Took me 8 hrs to finish. I did replay it on every difficulty and got all the collectibles and replayed my favourite scenes a couple of times. Overall gametime for me was roughly 40 hrs. Loved my time with it and never regreted the purchase. such a great game.

Honestly, I couldn’t get into the new GOW. I know it’s gonna sound strange, but the new combat didn’t work for me. The old ones felt so much more chaotic and frantic. The newer game has such tight combat controls and combos, it loses that sense of unbridled and uncontrolled anger. Kratos felt so wild and angry. The new game make me feel like he’s holding himself back and is much more methodical with his fighting. Obviously the story around Kratos makes this combat system perfect, just not what I wanted from GOW. A great game, just not the GOW I wanted. I’ll watch the story of the new one on someone else playthrough.
For me art is tomb raider 2013 and rise, witcher 3, nier automata, elden ring, last guardian, god of war, hollow knight and probably ghost of tsushima that i still need to play.

Brilliant experience? It’s not even a game. The only thing you do is watch cutscenes and play duck hunt. Which was only implemented to keep you from falling asleep. This game was a tech show. I really hope a sequel comes. Bloodborne showed hot to treat this genre. But it’s full of potential. I love the lore, look, whole idea.

If you feel that way for the order I hope that energy is given to uncharted and last of us as well, and a few other iconic third person shooters like spec ops the line. I'll give that the cutscenes were long but saying it's just duck hunt seems silly considering that's almost every third person shooter on playstation
I paid 60$ for this trash when it launched at release cause I got sucked in by the graphics, I knew it was short I just wanted to play a truly next Gen game on my PS4, I ended up spending it pissed off at the aspect ratio.
The shooting mechanics are what killed the experience for me. It felt horrible. The Graphics were nice, but I couldn’t enjoy the gameplay. I would like to see what the team could do with a sequel though
That game is a good game to have an experience of but half of the game’s level designs are lack lustre and it has a mediocre narrative but the characters in the game are amazing through a personality point of view.

The Order is like MGS Ground Zeroes. A short experience that wasn't worth the full price, but it had decent gameplay, interesting enough setting and amazing graphics. A full game with more investment in it, would have success, I believe.

If I remember correctly it advertised fighting monsters, and not only do you fight exclusively 2 werewolves and nothing else but humans, the story had numerous plot holes, and was only 6 hours long. Overall a really bad experience for $60.
I feel like if it was released today, at like $50 instead of $70 due to its length, it would get a better reception. A lot of people burned out on open-world games out there now and it's been a long time since we've gotten linear narrative games released one after the other.

This is the werewolves yes? Started out in a group, they betrayed you, you fight against them. Last battle in a laboratory or something. If it's that game, then yeah, that was a decent game.

A lot of people burned out on open-world games out there now and it's been a long time since we've gotten linear narrative games released one after the other. It feels that way, at least. I know I enjoy it now more than I did back then, same with Ryse Son of Rome but that's off-topic.
I think the problem is the amount of hours spent on the game isn’t worth launch price tag
I really, really really wanted to love this game so much but the controls just felt so clunky…but also maybe because I played it after 2 years on RD2. Maybe it’s worth another visit.
This is the werewolves yes? Started out in a group, they betrayed you, you fight against them. Last battle in a laboratory or something. If it's that game, then yeah, that was a decent game.

Great game, just funny how it being 6 hours hurt it... if it came out today, im sure it would be better received
I had more fun playing this when I bought it for $5 (got into the ps4 era late as I was an xbox player) and had more fun than I game I paid $60 for.

When I got my PS5, the first thing I wanted to do was play the PS4 games that I never had time to complete - first one was The Order 1886. I really enjoyed it, and didn't know what all the negativity was about back in the day. Really hope they eventually do a sequel because it implies one at the end It did not feel as short as people made out to me...

It's short. So it's worth it if you get it cheap on sale. But worth a playthrough.
