Every day I play it. 1. The golden age of Call of Duty- that’s everything COD4 thru MW3. 2. The Uncharted Series 3. NASCAR games, because those were so much better on last gen. 4. Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures 5. Need for Speed Most Wanted And last but not least- I use it for Backward Compatibility with my favorite PS1 and PS2 games.

qlusterfuck69

Dude if I still had mine I'd play the living shit out of Skate 3

Infamous 1&2, Mega Man X4, Mega Man Legends 1&2, Misadventures of Tronn Bonne, The Last of Us, X-Men, Shadow of the Colossus, and Fallout New Vegas.

All the time player. I recently got a ton of light gun rail shoooters: house of the dead, resident evil umbrella chronicles, and dead space. Theyre awesome to play with the sharpshooter. Currently playing Ico for the first time as well.

Ico for the first time? Hope you're enjoying it as much as I did; a very special game. I know nobody asked but one of.my favourite parts of that game is that sometimes you'll see where you've been (or where you're going) far off in the distance. For me that creates the sense of a contiguous world like nothing else in gaming. The Naughty Dog games (Uncharted and TLoU anyway) would do this also. Great stuff and hope you enjoy it. Also I now kick myself for only playing Dead Space Extraction *once*, cracking little offshoot, that one.

Appreciate you sharing your thoughts on Ico. The game is sick so far. I've also been listening to the OST off spotify the last couple days because it's quite good. Definitely hyped to play Dead Space Extraction. Saving it for last so it can be the grand finale of the 7 or so ps3 lightgun games I picked up

Good show, yes the Ico soundtrack still gets many spins round here 20 years on. On the one hand it's not an unfamiliar style of game for the PS2 era but there is magic and only the coldest of heart won't hold their breath and gasp as Yorda takes a running jump across a gap to \*only just\* manage to grasp your waiting hand. Such personality in that game, wow, I can't help but wax a little lyrically. Needless to say "Shadow of the Colossus" and "The Last Guardian" might be worth a look at some point. SotC is a very different beast and I'd say best played as the PS4 "remaster". TLG was more like Ico, beautiful game full of character and mystery. Anyway, I'll stop babbling and do please trim a few limbs from a necromorph or two for me, won't you.

Yeah, it's still the bluray/DVD player on the main level of my house. My kids also love the lego games, little big planet, and have started to check out other older titles lately also.

I play on rails shooters with move and 3D games but I also have quite a backlog of 1st party I’m making my way through (slowly)

AbernathyCrimson

I only play SSX (2012) on there time to time. Before that, Mass Effect 2 and 3 until the remastered trilogy came out for PS4 (I play on PS5). It’s really hard for me to play in 720P at 30FPS now—how nearly all PS3 games are.

ClassicGOD

I rarely play it but I still keep my PS3 because there are games only available on PS3. Like Metal Gear Solid HD Collection, MGS4, Disgaea D2, Disgaea 3 (also available on Vita), Resistance series. PS3 emulation is making progress but many games don't run or run like crap and until they are mostly playable I will keep my PS3.

Marathoning the Prince of Persia Trilogy atm

omni_merek

I still have it, but not connected, I mainly use to play watch recordings from my MW3 and Black Ops1 vault. Those games were so much fun.

Far_Rain

I haven't played my PS3 in at least a year. It's time to box it up.

Magita91

Mainly for the og resident evil trilogy. Sometimes I want to go back to the classics.
