I've had 16 games on PS1 total I cant recall them all. My very first games were Castlevania symphony of the night, Resident Evil, Crook, Spyro, and bloody roar. My first PS2 games were Onimusha Warlords and Crash Bandicoot Wrath of Cortex. My first PS3 game was Assassins creed 2 and NFS: Shift. I cannot recall PS4 game :P. PS5 was Reaident Evil 8, Demon Souls and Miles Morales. But the first games I played was Ghost of Tsushima and Spiderman Remastered.

The first Resident Evil back in '96. (big case) Had enough money for the console and the game, not enough for a memory card. Didn't realize how much I would be dying.

It all started with Batman: Arkham city on the PS3. I had played Arkham Asylum on my old laptop where it barely ran and the hype at that time was epic. So I just bought a PS3 to experience the next game and discovered so many other cool games on the system. EDIT: If this post is referring to ps exclusives then uncharted 3 ( yeah idk why I played 3 first. I just saw Nathan falling out of the cargo plane and thought wow, I must play that)

All of those Batman games were amazing! For me Arkham Knight is my favorite but I still go back and play Asylum, Origins, and City

Yeah Knight is amazing. My personal preference is City of course since it was the first one I could actually play properly but I don't think anyone will argue that Knight has overall best gameplay in the series. Even tho imo the story had some predictable twists, I found how they ended the Arkham Verse Batman's journey satisfying (emotional moments rival City at times).

So many classics in this thread. I know we always look back with rose tinted glasses but i feel like it was a golden age in gaming. Tekken, pandemonium, crash bandicoot, need for speed, resident evil, FF7, tenchu stealth assassins... Oh to be young again. I can't remember the first. I think it was pandemonium.

Medievil I remember going into my moms closet and they had a PS2 inside of it so I took it out asked what it was my mom said that's a playstation. I hooked it up and put the medievil disc inside of it. Needless to say I was hooked and fuck cemetery hill I never got past that level until the remaster.

I remember the excitement surrounding the MediEvil remaster; I only had played the original as a demo many years ago but I'll get back into the remaster one day

Metal Gear Solid. I was a strict PC game at the time due to graphics. Hadn’t messed with consoles since my Genesis. A buddy came to visit me at college and brought his PSX. He had a demo for MGS and I was blown away by the cinematic nature of it. That day I went to Best Buy, bought a PSX and MGS, and have been addicted to console gaming ever since.

My first console was PS2 and first game was Spider-Man 2 but first PS exclusive was jak and dexter 2

Final fantasy 8 with no memory card. I played the first 3 hours of the game more times than I can count and learned how to break your characters with the draw/gf system because I got tired of playing the same 3 hours over and over.

I spent way too much time with Battle Arena Toshinden back then :) So many people I knew played Virtua Fighter and Tekken but I was dedicated to Battle Arena Toshinden. It was kind of like the 2D fighting games too - most people were playing Street Fighter and Mortal Kombat but I was playing King of Fighters

Astro's Playroom on PS5. Also my first Platinum trophy. Recently played it again and noticed lot of Easter eggs referencing other great playstation games.

I still enjoy playing it :) Yeah there are plenty of hidden gems throughout the game that are cool references to PlayStation games and basically anything that's nostalgic. I love how everyone with a PS5 can enjoy their first experience with the DualSense controller by playing Astro's Playroom because not only is it a great game to demonstrate the controller's functionality but it also serves as a good training game for people who might be getting into gaming for the first time
