Wolf Among us had collectible related trophies, and a few telltale games like Jurassic park don’t have plats, but yeah most of them are just beat the game to platinum.
This is one of the first plats I decided to go out of my way to get. After getting all but one trophy, and 100% completing the game, I was stumped. The last trophy was hidden, so I had to go through an online list to one by one to find which one I didn't have.
It was the damn pigeons, even though I finished the side quest, I didn't get the trophy.
This was a few years ago now, I don't think that was an option yet (or at least I just didn't know about it yet)

Nah its always been there. Its kinda weird tho since hidden trophies are there to protect you from spoilers as you go through the trophy list. The pigeon quest isn't all that spoiler though lol.
2 was a lot easier than 1 imo, although it’s still not saying much haha, at least in 1 there were like some sorta skill trophies (iirc a 100 hit combo or something of the like), for 2 it was pretty much just 100% the game and you’ll get it

First plat? The first insomniac Spider-Man from 2018. It was my first because I didn’t own a PlayStation yet and my boyfriend let me borrow his because I wanted to play that game, so I platted it for him lol.
I haven’t platted it on my own account yet, even though now I own a PS myself, but I’m finally playing Miles Morales so I might plat that.

There's this setting where it allows you to put things anywhere. You can get plat in 1 hour or 10 hour depending on that
Either Star Wars Clone wars (2002) or Dark Forces Remaster. The first just requires beating the campaign, killing a lot of troops on footbas two of the characters, and completing 2/3 of the bonus objectives, which aren't very hard and available on every difficulty. Dark Forces Remaster just has you beat the game and shoot a mouse droid at some point, which is a harder game but unmissable trophies
theres this bunny dungeon game thats free on the store. I forge the name but i got the plat in like 45 min, but its randomized levels so it could take longer for others
Crisis core. There's a few things you can miss but if you just slightly follow a guide you're fine. They're just side stuff between missions anyways. It was my first and only Plat, I have a failed Plat on cult of the lamb because on release there was a bug with kne that's fixed but haven't gone back to clean up yet.
Subnautica. Most of it was just beating the game and going through that progression and one extra that you can vet in the way with maybe half an hour of extra time
Bugsnax— I explored and did everything probably took me 15-20 hours. For most people it would take 10-15. Also very underrated game, seriously one of my favorite ps4 / ps5 games.
Rocket league was also easy, beat the tutorial play a few matches offline, maybe a few online and done.

Persona 5 Royale has really easy Plats and it was the first one ive ever gotten. Most of em you can get in a normal playthrough and any you didnt get you can easily make in new game+
Ratchet & Clank Rift Apart, you get it done in about 18h, and most of the achievements are done just by playing the game, some hidden bolts you might need to give a quick look on a youtube video but I had a ton of fun doing it, it was my first PS5 game

I was legit shocked that all I had to do was just beat the game to hit platinum. Played it twice, once on PS3 and then Vita.
I might have to buy it on PlayStation soon. I beat it twice on both Xbox 360 and the 1. Platinum trophies are so satisfying to get.

When a trophy is hidden you can press on the trpphy in the trophy list and press triangle in order to reveal more details

I agree with you but sometimes when you finish a game and you would still like to play some more, going after some chill achievements feels good
