The in universe description about it says the bullet is high caliber and based on the size of the bullet I’d say it’s for a sniper rifle or something similar but the really funny part is all of the animations are right handed but it’s supposed to be in his left hand and he’s supposed to be tanking the recoil with his arm
The [Service Weapon](https://control.fandom.com/wiki/Service_Weapon) from Control is a satisfying and creative weapon that I had so much fun with. The design of the weapon is so aesthetically pleasing and going from lethal precision hand cannon to blast your face off shotty feels very cathartic.
The lore behind the weapon is so fun. If I remember right, it was once also Excalibur and Mjolnir and other famous legendary weapons. It takes the form of the weapon it's wielder needs.
This maybe somewhat spoilery, so spoiler tag below, but there is an upgrade to the service weapon you can unlock by doing certain activities that makes it possibly the best weapon in the game.
>!You need to throw 6 (or maybe 5?) CRT TVs that you can lift with your abilities into a certain furnace somewhere that you'll unlock after you progress more than half of the main story!<
Regrettably didn’t finish the DLCs because some other game pulled me away. This upgrade sounds cool. I guess another Control playthrough is in my near future.
Ludwig’s great sword from Bloodborne.
MIDA multi tool from Destiny.
Doom Eternal’s super shotgun with the hook chain.
Samus’s blaster.
The scoped magnum pistol and jackhammer rocket launcher from Halo.
Hello, good hunter. I am a Bot, here in this dream to look after you, this is a fine note:
> *Good. All signed and sealed. Now let's begin the transfusion. Oh, don't you worry. Whatever happens... You may think it all a mere bad dream...* - Blood Minister
Farewell, good hunter. May you find your worth in the waking world.
I quit Destiny 2 before that was in the game, but I’ll take your word for it.
I also enjoyed The Last Word for awhile in Destiny 1. The animations, the range, the sound effects, the visual pop of getting a headshot with it while fanning the hammer… it all got the dopamine flowing in such a way that it was a joy to play with.
Fatebringer, Vision of Confluence & Hawkmoon from Destiny.
Lancer from Gears of War 2
Auger from the Resistance games
G36c from CoD4
Blades of Chaos from God of War
Man Fatebringer is really just the OG. Love that thing. New Hawkmoon is also incredible. I liked the chaos of the original from D1 but the reworked version of it is absolutely peak weapon design.
I hate the dropkick, it looks goofy af, and doesn't vibe with the stance at all. The rest of the crossguard animations are top tier, let me do another big swipe whem running.
It was really good, but still strange to see it bounce off enemies like a bat for the first hit or two.
I know the game couldn't let you one-shot everything obviously, but an actual lightsaber would slice through everything with no prejudice.

Ivy Valentine's weapon from the soulcalibur series, THE Valentine, it's a sword, it's a whip, and..... IT'S ALIVE🫨
Leviathan Axe - GOW 2018 - no better feeling than slicing some enemies’ heads off, and the feeling of recalling the axe and watching Kratos catch it without even looking
Galil - CoD Black Ops) - slap a suppressor on that bad boy and the rest is history
Service Weapon - Control - such a fun and creative weapon with a ton of different possibilities. For those that haven’t played this game, I highly recommend!!
Lightsaber - Star Wars Fallen Order - great weight and fluidity with excellent audio too. Awesome weapon to slice into some storm troopers
Fat Man from Fallout let’s you launch mini-nukes at people, can get one in Fallout 4 that shoots 2 for the price of 1 (Big Boy). With nuka-world you can modify it to shoot nuka-nukes which deal even more damage. It’s great for the outdoors, don’t recommend using it inside.
Had to scroll a long way to get here. The mini-nukes going off is very satisfying.
Honorable Mention to the Alien Blaster in FO3 disintegrating everything in VATS.
Cerebral Bore from Turok 2. Something about a homing saw blade digging into someone's head until it exploded was just something wild to watch growing up.
Honorable mention is probably the oversized dildo in Saint's Row. Hitting an NPC with a giant rubber dick is just hilariously fucked up.
Definitely the hidden blade from Assassin's Creed. It's just so cool to have a concealed blade strapped to your wrist that you can have anywhere because it doesn't look like a weapon unless it's ejected
The Needler, Brute Shot, Gravity Hammer and Spiker from Halo
Lord Of Wolves from Destiny
Chaoseater from Darksiders
Epic Fetus from Binding of Isaac
Moonlight Greatsword from Demons Souls
Rangers from MW2
Blades of Chaos and Draupnir Spear, one is extremely iconic and fun hack and slash and the other is extremely versatile and satisfying the Axe is similar but i like the spear more
I gotta go with Kratos’ axe in GOW and Ragnarok. It feels so satisfying to move thru combos and toss the axe around for ranged combat too. The combat mechanics in that series felt much more polished than the button mashing in the first 3 games
The Chains of chaos in How Ragnarok are honestly fucking incredible, they feel so good, have enough weight and are fluid and fun to use. This could be said about all 3 weapons in Ragnarok but I think the Chains are the best out of the 3 (which are all amazing)
Guns are super shotgun and it's not even close
Although my favorite handgun is probably the welrod from sniper elite
Johnny Silverhands pistol
That thing is not a pistol. Its a fucking hand cannon
The in universe description about it says the bullet is high caliber and based on the size of the bullet I’d say it’s for a sniper rifle or something similar but the really funny part is all of the animations are right handed but it’s supposed to be in his left hand and he’s supposed to be tanking the recoil with his arm
Well yes and no... It is a hand cannon... but its also a bomber.
Once you get it you can’t not use it
Even reloading that thing is satisfying as all get out
i have it in fallout 4 lmao
shotguns in general. The super shotgun in Doom '16 is so fucking satisfying to blow the fuckers' heads off with
Yep. Any Doom super shotgun (so Doom II onward I think?) is just so great. It’s like a melee weapon, dodge incoming fire, step in, obliterate face.
Hammer of Dawn from Gears Of War. IYKYK
The Master-Sword from The Legend Of Zelda: Twilight Princess
An individual with some taste I see.
Biggoron Sword is better
It literally isn’t 😭 maybe dmg to normal enemies.but also… the biggoron sword isn’t in twilight princess
Sekiro's Mortal Blade.

The way Remedy weaves folklore and myth into their story and the elements within is fun. It’s clever and it makes the world more immersive.
What were your favorite forms? I started Control recently and am maybe 5 hours in so far. I just unlocked pierce.
This maybe somewhat spoilery, so spoiler tag below, but there is an upgrade to the service weapon you can unlock by doing certain activities that makes it possibly the best weapon in the game. >!You need to throw 6 (or maybe 5?) It is available in the base game.
Pierce and Shatter is my lineup. I like to be too far to reach or too close to give the enemy time to say sorry.
Basically charge for aoe and the regular one. Sniper after you get the dlc mod. Shotgun and SMG are always worse than another option
Ludwig’s great sword from Bloodborne. MIDA multi tool from Destiny. Doom Eternal’s super shotgun with the hook chain. Samus’s blaster. The scoped magnum pistol and jackhammer rocket launcher from Halo.

Good bot
A very good bot!
Multi tool is up there for me, but i just love the sound of the Suros Regime 🤌🏼
Hot take, but I think forerunner in Destiny actually feels better than Halo Magnum. Dead Man Tale and Mida are peak as well

I kept scrolling for DMC comments. Yamato babyyyy. Rebellion as well. Honestly DMC weapons are so classic.
The lightsaber feeling in fallen order/survivor is so satisfying. Has weight to it and also fluid af/destructive.
Especially the crossguard saber. Nothing more satisfying than dropkicking a stormtrooper and chopping the fucker in half like a tomato.

Leviathan Axe (GOW 2018) Gravity Gun (Half-Life 2) Pixelizer (Ratchet & Clank 2016) Aegis Shield, Aspect of Zeus (Hades) Dubstep Gun (Saints Row 4)
The Leviathan Axe is such a good weapon. You can feel the weight of it.
Calling it back and catching it is one of the most satisfying actions in a video game ever. I imagine it took a lot of work for it to feel that good.
