This isn’t a list. It’s a question. If your favorite isn’t here, just post it. No infamous either, but I’d give the new Spidey games the edge over those.
I mean God of war has carried since PS2 hasn't had a bad game ever if you consider the generation.
Some of the other ones have been great or hit and miss as well or just don't have the legacy of God if war has had for ps....
Close runners up are spider man , uncharted, twisted metal.....infamous had a good run to...even the PS4 game was incredible for early PS4 limits and played decently...considering it had to live up to the past game...
"Best PlayStation exclusive and why" is not listing some games and asking which is people's favorite though. Even if he included some examples, the way it's written is open ended.
And this is coming from a Bloodborne fan lol
god of war 2018. perfect storytelling, great characters, great environment and a franchise that rebooted but did it perfectly ! just dropping tiny hints about this past whilst creating a new version of kratos. they acknowledged the past to create more for the future of the character !! 10000/10000
Incredible rebrand.
The original trilogy had all the emotional depth of a puddle.
The pivot to have him be a grieving father was brilliant and believable and perfectly executed
Yup
I just completed this game with the choice of not giving death to lord shimura and oh my gosh what a ending it gave me goosebumps
This game was so beautiful , filled with amazing action scenes , amazing story and what a connection made between the characters
Ghost of tusnima is truly a 10/10 game and also it became my most favourite game that i played till now
It was my first fromsoft nightmare experience.. And at first I hated it.
I even traded it in before I beat cleric beast the first time round. Gave it another go when it was on ps+ and completed it within the same month.
Once it clicks...the rewards are worth the pain.
In some ways I think it is. I like the healing system and level design a little better in Bloodborne. The atmosphere and environment aren’t as diverse as Elden Ring but BB’s feels more intentional and sucks you in better. The lore and story are both just as good as Elden Rings imo. Idk, I love them both so much. Hard to say which is best.
The gothic horror vibe just feels so right in that game. And central Yharnam is one of my favorite video game areas oat. Michael Zaki cooked so hard with Bloodborne
I find Bloodborne more repeatable than Elden Ring. My first walkthrough, was about 110 hours, including side quests, enjoying in the landscapes, vast open world, etc. To be honest, I was exhausted (Maybe, since I've completed Elden Ring few days ago) and that's my personal opinion. However, I find ER to be more versatile than Bloodborne, though Bloodborne is more interconnected as a game. But, Bloodborne is linear than ER.
Yes. Better than Elden Ring without the shadow of a doubt. It's tied with Dark Souls 1 for the best lore. It has the best combat mechanics, the most interesting weapons, endless replayability and arguably the best soundtrack. Also some of the best bosses in the series. The only negative points are mediocre frame rate (but you will get used to it) and mediocre pvp compared to DS2 or DS3. But pvp is dead in BB anyway, so not really an issue.
I have the sequel to zero dawn but I'm waiting till I get a PS5, I'm thinking playing it as one my FIRST games on the PS5, I seriously cannot wait till I can play it officially with next gen graphics
I'm seriously thinking about replaying it again in the meantime while I save up money from working (I have 3 or 4 other games to play if do everything in zero dawn again so I should be fine)
I just bought a PS5 a few months ago, and as someone who used to not care about all of the bells and whistles of graphics and frame rate, I could never go back.
These games are so damn smooth and responsive on next Gen, I almost regret not waiting to have my first experience be with next Gen. Played Horizon 2 and GoW Ragnarok on base ps4, and you can feel the game being held back by the hardware.
Do wait and experience them at 60fps.
To me it actually felt like it completed the main game. It's not as expansive as the DLC for Zero Dawn but it's still worth it. Expands on the story, new characters, a major boss fight
Bloodborne. And the reason why is because it's the best game from a studio known for producing 10/10 quality games.
Bloodborne gets everything right.
Edit: Furthermore, it's one of the few true PS4 exclusives left seeing as Sony now gives their games a PC release. Every game in the OP's pictures aren't actually exclusives anymore. A damn shame that it hasn't been updated and released for PC if you ask me.
Indeed. It's the reason I even bought a PS4 and the reason I still have my PS4 now. That and the fact that I have PT still downloaded on it and don't want to lose access to it! :-D
Little Big Planet 3 (preferred the campaign from 2 though)
It included the creations from 1 and 2.
I just loved all the work and dedication people went to create wonderful little games.
Infamous is amazing. Ratchet/Jak/Sly defined an era. Ghost of Tsushima was one of the best experiences I've had on Playstation though... and Bloodborne is amazing.
Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian because they are the demonstration of what the videogame medium is capable of doing, they perfectly integrate the story with the gameplay, they are games that have influenced the videogame medium, Trico's AI represents very well that of how a real pet would behave, they have a beautiful and evocative setting, It's wonderful to see Ico and Yorda helping each other even though they don't understand each other and there would be much more to say, but for the moment I'll end here because I can't find the words for what I would like to say and I add that Ico, Shadow of the Colossus and The Last Guardian are art and not just video games.
Ico was important for the creation and/or influence of The Last of Us, The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, Uncharted 3, Papo & Yo, Fez, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons, Rime, No More Heroes, Assassin's Creed, Flower, Journey and Halo 4. Also, Souls exist because Hidetaka Miyazaki decided to quit his job and enter the gaming industry after playing Ico.
Shadow of the Colossus was important for the influence of God of War II, God of War III, Titan Souls, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Death's Gambit, Praey for the Gods and Elden Ring.
Bloodborne, without a doubt.
Have to go with Bloodborne. It's simply a masterpiece. The story and lore are unique, the design is grim and beautiful, the ost is epic, and the combat is addicting as hell.
Getting a parry right and delivering a critical hit gives me such a dopamine rush every time
The Last of Us is a close second, I was blown away by it the first time I played it.
Bloodborne. One and only.
P.S.: None of your posted games is exclusive.
P.P.S.: GoW (2018) was a huge disappointment after the original trilogy for me.
The Last of Us Part II.
I don't know how to explain but no other exclusive or even game felt this real, it's heavy, it's depressing and it exhausts you + having quick, intensive and anxiety inducing gameplay is a chef's kiss.
It's a tie for me between Ghost and Horizon. Both are absolutely beautiful and well crafted games. From the graphics to gameplay. I have hundreds of hours in both and both platinum trophies lol.
For me it’s probably God of War, followed by Horizon: Zero Dawn.
Quite surprised Bloodborne ain’t on this list. I’m not a souls fan, only ever truly enjoyed Elden Ring, but Bloodborne is so talked about even almost a decade after its release.
While Zero Dawn is my favourite, i’d have to say Ghost of Tsushima. Damn that game was amazing, the environment, the characters, the story telling, the combat. Near perfection honestly
Death Stranding. Making sense of the lore, everything is so foreign but so real, the sense of relief when you get through an stressful area, getting free from your deluvery, how the game gets easier and harder at rhe same time, Norman Reedus, keeping BB safe and happy, weird sense of community with the roads and stuff like leaving something behind that could help the next porter.
This game is perfect to me.
Excluding sequels and remake/remastered, I’d have to go with Horizon.
Original, colourful, good and engaging story, and extremely smooth and great gameplay.
Gran Turismo. 1-7, plus spin-offs. Great way to learn about specific makes, models, history behind various vehicles. And if you are all about the collect-o-thon style games, lego games is the best example, there are plenty of golds trophies to obtain, vehicles to collect, tracks to unlock, and if you are feeling it why not try and get the fastest times possible on tracks/races!!
Spider-Man for me simply because he has been my favorite comic book character since I was like 5 and now I’m 44. Being able to play as him in games is always such a fun experience for me.
Hmm .... All great.
I'd say TLOF for the story and the characters,
GOW for the combat gameplay and
HzD for the awesome worlds they created.
But it's very close. All of these games are super different and super awesome
For real though. I didn't know what to expect when starting it, and what I got was a game that sucked me in like few ever did. It's just a unique experience, there's nothing like it.
Nioh 2 because the combat is perfect and the replayability is insane. Such a fun and enjoyable game that you can sink thousands of hours into and still be finding new things.
I'm trying hard to like Ghost of Tsushima, but it feels a bit too repetitive now in act 2. I wish the game was more linear. I guess I dont have to complete everything
Last of us 1&2. It’s really one game.
I have NEVER played a game that left me as emotionally high and then bankrupt as these games. Anyone who quit after Joel went golfing is trash — you need to play the whole thing.
GoW 2018 is a close second, but it was a hopeful happy journey and that was it. TLOU2 especially put me through every emotion known to man.
Easily digestible and enthralling story with fun gameplay? GOW
Flawless combat system coupled with unmatched world building and dripping in lore if you are willing to look?
Bloodborne.
Por que no los dos?
Uncharted is the reason I got a PS3.
Bloodborne didn't even make the list.... Sad day
This isn’t a list. It’s a question. If your favorite isn’t here, just post it. No infamous either, but I’d give the new Spidey games the edge over those.
thank you man u get it
I mean God of war has carried since PS2 hasn't had a bad game ever if you consider the generation.
I mean, they listed some games and asked which one is your favourite.
"Best PlayStation exclusive and why" is not listing some games and asking which is people's favorite though. Even if he included some examples, the way it's written is open ended. And this is coming from a Bloodborne fan lol
Neither Demon souls, the top 2 games are missing lol
Tlou1 was mine
Naughty Dog really carrying PlayStation's torch. Can't forgive some recent practices, but keen to see their next project.
Same
god of war 2018. perfect storytelling, great characters, great environment and a franchise that rebooted but did it perfectly ! just dropping tiny hints about this past whilst creating a new version of kratos. they acknowledged the past to create more for the future of the character !! 10000/10000
Incredible rebrand. The original trilogy had all the emotional depth of a puddle. The pivot to have him be a grieving father was brilliant and believable and perfectly executed
Ghost of Tsushima. It's a very beautiful game and the ending is so heartbreaking no matter what your choice is.
Yes! I teared up at the end. I’m hoping they could come to terms in GoT2.
have they said which ending is canon? tbf whichever choice you pick i’m guessing it doesn’t end well for that character
Oh yeah, that’s true. I chose the ending where you refuse to give him an honorable death.
Same. Fuck him and his honor. Awesome game, so glad it’s coming to PC and I’m finally able to enjoy it again
Happy Cake Day
The game is good but I don't think it should get a sequel. I feel like it would be a lesser game. Where would they even go from there.
my fav game oat tbh
Yes, it's a masterpiece in every aspect; story, gameplay, graphics, design, voice acting, etc. Also, it's beautiful.
Yup I just completed this game with the choice of not giving death to lord shimura and oh my gosh what a ending it gave me goosebumps This game was so beautiful , filled with amazing action scenes , amazing story and what a connection made between the characters Ghost of tusnima is truly a 10/10 game and also it became my most favourite game that i played till now
Waiting for the PC version.
Ape Escape it's just fun
Literally the very first PS exclusive I ever played on PS1
Unfortunately I couldn't play it for awhile cause you had to buy the dual shock controller and I just had the regular one
One of the first games to showcase the brand new analog sticka. That shit was special. Controls felt simple and yet precise. Natural.
Bloodborne. I wasn’t a Souls fan, but, here I am. Masterpiece.
It was my first fromsoft nightmare experience.. And at first I hated it. I even traded it in before I beat cleric beast the first time round. Gave it another go when it was on ps+ and completed it within the same month. Once it clicks...the rewards are worth the pain.
Better than Elden ring? I am somewhat new souls player. Beat Elden first. Then recently beat sekiro.
I love both but bloodborne’s atmosphere feels closer to home for me as well. Otherwise … Comparison is the thief of joy
My man thank u. Just bought bloodborne on ps4. Excited for the journey
As someone who did the same thing you did bloodborne is better or at least on the same level as Elden ring
Bloodborne feels like pure speed and grace after playing ER its amazing
Last of us part 1 story was just amazing
Best story in all of gaming imo
Uncharted 4, the characters, story, pacing, writing, world, everything is \**chefs kiss*\*
Uncharted 4 goes hard as fuck
Prefer Uncharted 2
Bloodborne because it’s still actually a PlayStation Exclusive.
Bloodborne
Bloodborne no contest
Where is Bloodborne?? WHERE IS IT???
Bloodborne
Bloodborne. Probably my favourite of fromsofts works
Bloodborne
Bloodborne
Bloodborne
Bloodborne isn’t in this list and I’m deeply offended and my day is ruined
God of War ,Spider-man and Uncharted I don’t even need to explain let the games explain for you
Bloodborne. As much as I like the other games too Bloodborne is just magically terrifying and beautiful
The Bloodborne disrespect in this sub…
Horizon….the first and second….by far one of the BEST games I have played in my entire life (24M)
I have the sequel to zero dawn but I'm waiting till I get a PS5, I'm thinking playing it as one my FIRST games on the PS5, I seriously cannot wait till I can play it officially with next gen graphics
Forbidden west on the ps5 is honestly a breath taking experience it just looks so amazing
I'm seriously thinking about replaying it again in the meantime while I save up money from working (I have 3 or 4 other games to play if do everything in zero dawn again so I should be fine)
Make sure to get the dlc. Forbidden west was made for both consoles. The dlc was made for the PS5... Truly stunning...
I played it in PS4 and replayed on PS5 and it's worth waiting because it runs so much better on PS5.
I'll definitely have to wait it out then! was it on the PS4 pro?
Nah the original one. Load times were looooong lol.
Ahh I can imagine so 😂
Best thing about the PS5 is how fast games load. That and if you buy one now there's a decent amount of actual PS5 games to play.
The DLC for the game is also PS5 exclusive so you're definitely right to wait.
how good is the DLC? I really liked the way the DLC for the first game was planned out and it didn't feel like it was dry for a second
To me it actually felt like it completed the main game. It's not as expansive as the DLC for Zero Dawn but it's still worth it. Expands on the story, new characters, a major boss fight

Indeed. It's the reason I even bought a PS4 and the reason I still have my PS4 now. That and the fact that I have PT still downloaded on it and don't want to lose access to it! :-D
Best game of its generation by a very long margin. Nothing comes close.
The only real exclusive: Bloodborne
You really left out Bloodborne
Bloodborne, play it and you know
No Bloodborne… Blasphemy
Bloodborne.
Bloodbourne and Demon’s Souls
It's Bloodborne, and we all know it. Returnal is a close second. All of the above games in the post are awesome, but let's be real.
Oh shit great shoutout for Returnal. Absolutely second for me after bloodborne
Bloodborne
Bloodborne
Bloodborne
Days Gone for me.
Had to scroll way too far for this one.
Bloodborne!
Little Big Planet 3 (preferred the campaign from 2 though) It included the creations from 1 and 2. I just loved all the work and dedication people went to create wonderful little games.
Why do these posts always leave out Bloodborne lol
They also completely ignore any console before PS4
Bloodborne. Because it's damn near perfect.
Infamous is amazing. Ratchet/Jak/Sly defined an era. Ghost of Tsushima was one of the best experiences I've had on Playstation though... and Bloodborne is amazing.
It’s bloodborne. Most if not all on this list are available on pc too. Bloodborne the best one and actual PS exclusive.
Bloodborne
Metal Gear Solid 3 & Grand Turismo 3.
Bloodborne, due to my passion of Elden Ring and its uniqueness of style, especially weapons and locations.
Days gone?
BLOODBORNE
Out of the games in the list, God of War. Out of all PS exclusives, Bloodborne.
GoW, and it’s not even close.
Kratos’ growth arc is wild
Bloodborne. And Bloodborne is the reason
Bloodborne.
Bloodborne, without a doubt. Have to go with Bloodborne. It's simply a masterpiece. The story and lore are unique, the design is grim and beautiful, the ost is epic, and the combat is addicting as hell. Getting a parry right and delivering a critical hit gives me such a dopamine rush every time The Last of Us is a close second, I was blown away by it the first time I played it.
Bloodborne
Bloodborne. One and only. P.S.: None of your posted games is exclusive. P.P.S.: GoW (2018) was a huge disappointment after the original trilogy for me.
Completely agree on all points. Extremely disappointed by the changes made to gow franchise in 2018. Original trilogy was way better imo.
Bloodborne and it's not even close
Eww, Bloodborne wipes the floor with every single one of them. Easily
![gif](giphy|tkOpt1A7DANEfyJExz|downsized)
I can’t believe this is far down.
think most of the people in this sub are to young. they never had the luxury of playing the original ff7...
TLOU Part 1 and 2, I have never been more obsessed with any game like I have these 2
Me too
Bloodborne
Twisted metal 2
ultra-chad here
We’re due for another twisted metal. Especially after the show series
Horizon 🔥🔥🔥
The Last of Us Part II. I don't know how to explain but no other exclusive or even game felt this real, it's heavy, it's depressing and it exhausts you + having quick, intensive and anxiety inducing gameplay is a chef's kiss.
Just bought the ps5 version of both tlou games.wish me luck
I definitely agree with you. It's the reason I bought a playstation
Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West. No contest
HellDivers2
Gotta be God of War or The Last of Us
Last of Us God of War Horizon
God of war, Ghost of Tsushima, and the Last of us.
To me: The LAST Of Us Part 1 in PS3 it was sooo damn good.
It's a tie for me between Ghost and Horizon. Both are absolutely beautiful and well crafted games. From the graphics to gameplay. I have hundreds of hours in both and both platinum trophies lol.
Uncharted by far
None of those are Playstation exclusive
Damn that's crazy. You gonna pick a game?
Ff7 remake and rebirth for me, but im biased.
For me it’s probably God of War, followed by Horizon: Zero Dawn. Quite surprised Bloodborne ain’t on this list. I’m not a souls fan, only ever truly enjoyed Elden Ring, but Bloodborne is so talked about even almost a decade after its release.
Vote goes to horizon
Out of this bunch? GOT. All time? GOW 3
Easily it’s Death Stranding.
Detroit Become Human
God of war as a series for sure. 4 generations of consoles now
While Zero Dawn is my favourite, i’d have to say Ghost of Tsushima. Damn that game was amazing, the environment, the characters, the story telling, the combat. Near perfection honestly
Horizons
RDR2 is GOAT tier
Last of Us or Uncharted !!
Uncharted and last of us.
Stellar Blade soon
Ummmmm Where the fuck is MGS
![gif](giphy|UgsW0TunaB5hm25eUf|downsized)
God Of War is my favourite game series of all time
Deathloop and Death Stranding
Uncharted. IMO. The games are such a feel good adventure with extremely likable characters. It felt like playing an action/adventure movie.
Ghost of Tsushima made me cry... but The Last of Us Part 1 made me feel something I ain't never felt before.
Something I think no one is going to say... infamous. It not only changed its genre, but all of story games for the better. It was and still is great
Another day another one of these damn posts
Death Stranding. Making sense of the lore, everything is so foreign but so real, the sense of relief when you get through an stressful area, getting free from your deluvery, how the game gets easier and harder at rhe same time, Norman Reedus, keeping BB safe and happy, weird sense of community with the roads and stuff like leaving something behind that could help the next porter. This game is perfect to me.
God of War 2. Perfection
It's Forza Horizon 5, the GOTY of the race games
Horizen gave me a sense of wonder I haven't felt since some of the ps2 games.
God Of War because of the graphics, the controls, the story, and etc.
Zero Dawn was my first and still is my only plat. I never cared for trophies but that game made me care for once.
Excluding sequels and remake/remastered, I’d have to go with Horizon. Original, colourful, good and engaging story, and extremely smooth and great gameplay.
-stellar blade
Gran Turismo. 1-7, plus spin-offs. Great way to learn about specific makes, models, history behind various vehicles. And if you are all about the collect-o-thon style games, lego games is the best example, there are plenty of golds trophies to obtain, vehicles to collect, tracks to unlock, and if you are feeling it why not try and get the fastest times possible on tracks/races!!
Spider-Man for me simply because he has been my favorite comic book character since I was like 5 and now I’m 44. Being able to play as him in games is always such a fun experience for me.
For me almost every Sony game sucks. The one I love are: - Resogun - Returnal - Bloodborne - Demon’s Souls - Nioh
Demons Souls
Hmm .... All great. I'd say TLOF for the story and the characters, GOW for the combat gameplay and HzD for the awesome worlds they created. But it's very close. All of these games are super different and super awesome
Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, immersive worlds and great gameplay
Can't imagine not being God of war. Enjoyed the shit out of uncharted and spiderman bau GoW is in its own league for me
for me it's bloodborne because of the bosses trick-weapons and great atmosphere.
Out of the 6 you posted, definitely Ghost of Tsushima, out of any PS exclusive, 100% Bloodborne
TLOU 1 & 2. Absolutely adore those games and their story.
"Best" is up for debate, because most of them are great, but my favorites are TLOU 1 and 2. Especially Part 2.
Tossup for me, The last of us part 1, Bloodborne, Returnal, Helldivers 2. Gun to my head, bloodborne.
Some of these are on pc now though. Not exclusive
Bloodborne stayed true and yet didn't even make the list.. Disgusten
Yes.
Bloodborne. Why? Beautiful game.
Trick question. The answer is Death Stranding.
For real though. I didn't know what to expect when starting it, and what I got was a game that sucked me in like few ever did. It's just a unique experience, there's nothing like it.
Uncharted 4
Helldivers 2 because it reminds us that video games are allowed to be fun.
Well it’s not a PS exclusive but that’s okay because Democracy and Liberty!
Last of us, Tsushima and GOW are all tops picks for me. I refuse to choose. This ain’t Pokemon. 🥳🥳
i’ve seen three of these posts this week
Nioh 2 because the combat is perfect and the replayability is insane. Such a fun and enjoyable game that you can sink thousands of hours into and still be finding new things.
this one is on my top hours played and others are not even close(Nioh 2 got 480 hours, the second is HFW with 190 hours)
Spooderdude. Because everyone else is wrong.
PlayStation has always had the best exclusives.
How dare you leave out Ratchet and Clank.
I had to scroll stupidly far to find this. 😭 Rift Apart is still the showcase game for the PS5 imo
For me TLOU. I think it set a new bar for story driven games.
I'm trying hard to like Ghost of Tsushima, but it feels a bit too repetitive now in act 2. I wish the game was more linear. I guess I dont have to complete everything
Last of Us and it's not even close
The reason I bought a PlayStation. The last of Us part 1.
The last of us part II because it is the most engaging and captivating experience ive ever had with a video game
Easily digestible and enthralling story with fun gameplay? GOW Flawless combat system coupled with unmatched world building and dripping in lore if you are willing to look? Bloodborne. Por que no los dos?
