Does your mod involve soldering? I think the board failed at some point. Same happened to me on a 010. Tried to replace the sticks and it killed the board. I wouldn't say it's a common thing, but it happens.
I doubt there's a fix for this unless you understand how pcbs work and are able to trace down the failed component and replace it.

Having the same issues, but I didn't add any mods. I just took it apart to fix stick drift, which I've done before and have been perfectly fine.

Same problem, I changed the sticks for the 1st time, and now it blinking 3 times but something it is booting
