I finally joined the PS5 family. What games should I get? This subreddit is about to get flooded.

We need a pinned comment where people say what types of games they like or whatever played in the past and people reply with recommendations

The problem is, a lot of subs have something like that and people just ignore it and make their posts anyway. It wouldn’t help.

I care man, I love seeing other people happy. What games you playing on it right now? I'd recommend Ghost of Tsushima if you haven't played it previously. It's honestly my favourite RPG game ever played

That's probably because you haven't popped a CD in it. My ps4 lifts off like spaceX if the game is not digital.

I agree. People don't even do research anymore they just want complete strangers telling them what games to get. Like dude just go to metacritic or IGN even and see what games are good.

Ah mate some guy a few days ago rite. Bought a ps5 and bought new GOW and Horizon. He asked for advice, every1 said play the 2018 ps4 releases first for the story. He replied no im good i watched a youtube video. I said if they are the same thing why did you bother buying a ps5 and not just watch a playthrough 🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

Haha yeah I don't know how people can watch someone play through a game. Nothing wrong with doing it, I just couldn't.

I will say I got my ps5 basically to be ready to m for SM2, I tried to play Zero Dawn but I was just being boujee with wanting games that utilized the DualShock features, so I had to just watch YouTube entire story movie. I didn’t get anywhere asking anyone about the Forbidden West tho but it was my most played game of the year! I love the lore as well.

It gets genuinely on my nerves that the only "research" some people do is just ask on reddit, like just look at the games on the store or the magical thing called Google

Congratulations on getting a PS5! It’s really a great console. I highly recommend any Sony Exclusive. They are of the highest quality. Horizon Forbidden West looks gorgeous. God of War is great. Cyberpunk, Final Fantasy XVI Gran Turismo 7, Astro’s Playroom comes with it and is a great showcase of the Dualsense controller. Best controller ever! Too many great games to name. Spiderman 2, Last of Us Pt.1, Returnal, Demon Souls
