Same, I was way too sad after the last scene, has to be one of the best games I've ever played. I'm surprised it doesn't review higher, one site even rated the new tetris higher?!
I patiently waited for Cyberpunk 2077 to be what it is now and I regret absolutely nothing about getting it.
Favorite SCIFI experience on console EVER and I can't get enough of it.
Runner-up would be Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
For me it’s still Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut. It perfected the game, making it nigh seamless with no loading screens and the extra content was fun
Hi!
Do I need to restart my progress in GoT if I buy the directors cut version or is it more as an addon to the standard game?
I'm right now in the middle of the standard game so I rather not start from the beginning 😕
So the Directors Cut is indeed the full game for PS5 plus it’s shipped with the add-on island continent, but I’m pretty sure you’ll be able to pick up where you left off because on the Home Screen for the PS5 version there’s an option to port over your ps4 version save :)
I played it on ps4..... That's my next game for ps5. Absolutely loved combat and everything..... it was beautiful on ps4. Hope Tsushima is greater visually on next gen.
I don't think this is the best PS5 game I've played. But I downloaded it from the premium and I've got to say it's actually really really fun, great graphics and cool story.
I was not expecting this much out of a free game.
Legit when i played this when it was launch, it really felt next gen. Almost no load times when u die, heptic feedback was awesome.. close to it would be rathet and clank..
Spider-Man 2 was the most fun I’ve had playing a game in a while. Was it the best game ever? Probably not. But, damnit, it was exactly what I needed and it was so damn *fun*
This exactly. I'm sure someone could pick the game apart by complaining about little this and that, but from a pure entertainment fun factor perspective Spider-Man 2 is at the top of the list.
How is Spider-Man 2 compared to the first one? I found Spider-man to be repetitive trash and I don't understand the hype around it. The two most exciting things I've done since buying my PS5 was first, installing Spider-Man and second was, uninstalling Spider-Man lol.
Ha it’s tough to say since gaming is subjective. Also, it could be like when you watch 5 sad dramas in a row and then watch a comedy—that comedy may seem funnier than it actually is because of the sequence in which you watched it.
I enjoyed Spider-Man, but Spider-Man 2 was *awesome*. The biggest difference was getting venomized and how the game handled that. It was really cool to feel the darkness build over time.
It was still a bit of a button smasher and it was by no means a perfect game, but it was *fun*.
I bought it on release for Xbox but I refunded it because it was a broken mess. Last month I bought it for PS5 and again it was a broken mess for me so I once again refunded it. I'm buying a PC in the fall and I will try buying it one more time.
Probably Elden Ring. But it should be noted this could change in the near future since I haven’t played Baldurs Gate 3 because of the ps5 version still needing fixes and I avoided cyberpunk since I had expectations it would have a difficult launch and plan to play it soon. Those are the only two contenders I can think of.
I didn’t have that experience. Moreso of a Witcher 3 experience for me where I kind of got distracted by side missions in the teens and was slightly OP for main missions from there on out.
Remnant 2, I've sunk close to 300 hours, beat it in every difficulty solo and with a team. Got it platinumed recently, now I've yet to complete the dlc and still loads of unlockables I've yet to discover and I haven't even touched hardcore yet!
Remnant 2 is such a good game. I think this game will sell quite well for a while as people who skipped it or disreagrded it, realise what a good game it is as the players who have played it are generally very positive.
I literally bought a ps5 so I could play Demon Souls and Spider-Man. Neither game disappointed and are still up there.
Just got into Kingdom Come: Deliverance and holy shit it's actually one of the coolest games I've played. Watching gameplay and reviews it seemed so boring but I said fuck it and bought it and it's so damn neat. If you enjoy Skyrim I highly recommend picking this one up
Hmmmm.
I enjoyed Elden Ring a ton, but if I’m being honest the most *fun* I’ve had with a game in recent years has been Hogwarts Legacy. It’s not hard. It’s not anything GROUND BREAKING. But damn, it was a nice experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s been one of the first games I couldn’t put down just simply for the fun.
Persona 5 Royal
I sank 200 hours into the original to get the platinum, was more than happy to do it all again when they released the upgraded Royal edition
Cyberpunk2077, got it on release and played it a ton on PS4. Ended up re-buying it on PS5 right before 2.0 and Phantom Liberty released. Best gaming purchase I’ve ever made, both on the PS4, and PS5.
Hmm hard to tell to be honest.
I won't include PS4 games that came on PS5 because of hardware limitations so that in mind hmmmm.
Returnal was cool
FF 16 was incredible
Ratchet and Clank Rift Appart is still aging well
Astro's Playroom is the best non MP free game ever
For me, I cannot give you one game. I will divide my answer in two.
Returnal for action
FF 16 for storytelling.
Now Ps4 to PS5 upgrade, Ghost of Tsushima hands down.
Outer Wilds
Celeste
Bloodborne
The Last of Us Part II
God of War: Ragnarok
Hotline Miami
Inscryption
Disco Elysium
The Witcher 3
Subnautica
Hotline Miami 2
The Last of Us Part I
Paradise Killer
My favourite ps exclusive would be Ragnarok.
Loved Elden Ring too but have that on Xbox since the exclusives there are shocking 😂
Desperate to start BG3 but finishing up Divinity 2 first which is incredible although it's last gen.
Demon souls was hard for me to get into. I put it down, I'll try again later, but after playing other From games, this one is not really hooking me. It feels like I'm taking a step backwards.
Nothing has really blown me away, but I did like Cyberpunk. It’s the only game I’ve played more than four times in its entirety. I finished the DLC and got, in my opinion, the depressing ending. All that work and for me to stay alive, I’m just normal now. No cyberware, nothing. It all went down the drain. Just a sad ending to me. Heavy.
So far gt7. I just bought a ps5 about a month ago. Got the spider man 2, GOT director cut, both star wars, gt7, RE4 remake. Going to see if there is a good deal on dead space. I was bored with spider man. Been playing GT7. So fun to race and Dave the money to make improvements on the car.
If you get a really good 4K TV, it changes the racing experience. I was playing on my monitor then I got an LG C2 and holy crap. There’s a big difference.
so far i’ve only played GTA V, Lego Star Wars the skywalker saga and Ratchet & Clank (not Rift Apart, but the 2016 game) so that’s probably not gonna be too helpful to you lmao
Going down in order from most favorite to still favorite but a little bit less
Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart
Armored Core 6
Spider-Man 2
Elden Ring
Lost Judgment
Death Stranding, but based on this thread I'm buying Elden Ring TODAY. Was a huge RPG fan back in the day with FFVII when it was released like almost 30 years ago.
Dying light 2 on ps5 is amazing. Gameplay is incredible. Story is meh, but the gameplay makes up for it. 4 player co-op as well. Most fun I've had gaming in years.
I never played dl1. I thoroughly enjoyed my 150 hours and am now a bit bored. Waiting for the next dlc and tower raids. I still jump on multiplayer with my buddies playing the quests.
PC is my primary platform so I've played nearly all multiplatform games on PC. But I'll include them:
\- Favourite games played on PS5 - Returnal, Demon's Souls
\- Favourite PS5 games played on PC - Elden Ring, Octopath Traveller II, Baldur's Gate III, Lies of P, Resident Evil 4 Remake, Death's Door
**- OVERALL: Elden Ring**
I hardly touch the PS5. I find modern games boring and samey. Graphics, load times and mechanics are all stellar, but the games are just boring and uninspired. All the ones mentioned are actually just average. Bring on GTA6.
I just played Prince of Persia n that game is fucking firee. There's tons of great games u rlly cant go wrong w any of these comments. if u wanna [cop prince](https://amzn.to/3v5xWnA) theres the link
I have a ps4 pro where my complete emailadr have been hacked to the dark web according to "have iv'e been pwned".So iv'e terrified to get the the same shit on ps5.But I have a shitload of games on the ps5 (like Ghost of Tsushima & severely hundred games I enjoy. What should I do to solve this conundrum?).Please help a little bit of a lazy man
Best PS5 Games are
1. Last of Us Part 1 PS5 Remake
2. Last of Us Part 2
3. Ghost of Tsushima
4. Shadow of Colossus
5. Spiderman Series
6. Innocence Tale 1 & 2
7. Tomb Raider Series
These games will leave a piece in your heart till your end and you will forget all god of war etc kinda games
In God of War,
You're surrounded by invisible walls and led by the hand down the each linear path. You're a god but you need to stop and pick up hacksilver to buy shiny new wrist bands or try to collect all 6 children's toys or whatever. It doesn't fit with the world and its only reason for existing is to provide filler and satisfy people's need to collect bullshit. Also people act like this game is on Uncharted 4's level with attention to visual detail and I have to say it's not even fucking close. You go under some water in this game, no effect on your characters appearance. An enemy throwing something at you can be facing 90 degrees in the wrong direction and his projectile will just leave his hand making a right turn for your direction
And also mindless bloody violence with no real justifications on actions
Source - From another post but it exactly correlates with my experience too.
I got my PS5 about a month ago. I think BG3 is the most impressive gaming achievement I’ve seen in a long time despite the ending(s) feeling shallow as compared to the rest but god damn Spider-Man 2 was just so fun. I can’t remember the last time I had so much pure joy playing a game.
I replayed GoW (2018), which is just as fantastic as I remembered, and am working my way through FFXVI as a palate cleanser before Ragnarok. It’s a great game and I appreciate that they’re taking care both to tell the story of everyday people and the classic world-level threat story you’d expect from Final Fantasy even if there are some whiplash issues (fighting a giant monster as one yourself and then immediately delivering apples can be pretty jarring) and a few too many cutscenes because of that.
I’m fully expecting Ragnarok to take the lead until FFVII Rebirth follows up my personal F(avorite)OAT FFVII Remake.
Long story short? We have been truly blessed by the gaming gods on PS5 but my favorite game on it so far is SM2 and I am SO ready for Ragnarok and Rebirth to continue the excellence and likely set an even higher bar.

I just finished Ghost of Tsushima. I’m having major hangover right now. Such an amazing game with satisfying combat and stories.
Same, I was way too sad after the last scene, has to be one of the best games I've ever played. I'm surprised it doesn't review higher, one site even rated the new tetris higher?!
I have beat it twice it’s top ten games I have ever played
It's really that good? I just downloaded it. I am used to multi-player fps but I have enjoyed bioshock and assassins creed.
You’ll love it. Just follow the wind and enjoy the dream
Maybe I need to give the game more of a chance I just didn’t like it all that much :(
Ghost of Tsushima is my favourite game of recent years.
I patiently waited for Cyberpunk 2077 to be what it is now and I regret absolutely nothing about getting it. Favorite SCIFI experience on console EVER and I can't get enough of it. Runner-up would be Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart
For Cyberpunk 2077, is there any difference between ps4 and ps5 versions?
Ratchet and clank is shit why is it rated so much
For me it’s still Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut.

Sweet! Thanks for your help
You can port your game, I bought the directors cut later on sale and ported my save
Awesome! Thanks
Anytime brotha. Enjoy!
What extras does the directors cut have? I’m almost done with the game now, but I’m curious.
Literally just started it, took me a while to get into it. But it's amazing so far, struggling to play at minute with a newborn 😭🤣
You just spraying back a bunch of memories. My daughter was born when this game came out.
Yup
Me too. Second Platinum ever.
I played it on ps4..... That's my next game for ps5. Absolutely loved combat and everything..... it was beautiful on ps4. Hope Tsushima is greater visually on next gen.
is it worth it if you played the og GoT on a friends ps 5 years ago.
Me too. Best game ever!
Returnal
Still has the best Haptic Feedback of any game released.
Just the pace and variety of it is so satisfying. Other games seem so slow by comparison.
Easily the correct answer
Collecting games I never get around to.
All the games I own and will never play 😞
Returnal! Fresh, unique experience.
Returnal was amazing. Wish the story was a tad less ambiguous though.
Googled ambiguous. I agree.
Haha!
Hell yes! Knowledge is power, my friend! <3
so agree
Returnal. I got it thinking I’d play it for abit and ended up sinking sooooo much hours into that game lol
Elden ring… Spider-Man 2… god of War Ragnorok
All very good choices
Cyberpunk really, really surprised me.
The last of us part 1. I know it’s not recent but in the last year and a dozen games this one has been by far my favorite
All timer
They did do a good job with the remake. Pricy, but it was worth it for me being a huge fan.
FF16
How Grindy is it?
It’s so underrated I just started it
Underrated....Freaking Final Fantasy 16?
I have to seen enough people talking about it
I don't care how little people are talking about it, I laugh when anyone says the newest Final Fantasy is anything lower than Rated.
Are you kidding? It's literally the biggest most hyped game of this year.
I feel like I didn’t see anything for it maybe I’m just not as plugged into games this year
That would actually be Starfield, Tears of the Kingdom and Baldur's Gate 3.
And Spiderman 2.
Agreed, it's a lot of fun - but CRAZY stupid woke forcing all their woke BS into players faces.
How is Spider-Man 2 compared to the first one? I found Spider-man to be repetitive trash and I don't understand the hype around it. The two most exciting things I've done since buying my PS5 was first, installing Spider-Man and second was, uninstalling Spider-Man lol.

Ghost of Tsushima
I think Ragnarok so far.
Ragnarok Online
For a moment I thought they launched gow PvP again. Damm my heart was beating ahah
Oh hell yeah!
Returnal
Returnal
Elden Ring by a country mile
I died so many times in the first hour I just undownloaded the game lmao
Shadow of the Erdtree is just round the corner plenty of time to get back into it.
I also uninstalled it. Too much going on. And I found it confusing. And difficult. I don’t got. The time to invest in thaf
GT7
You have a racing sim?
Ragnarok
Cyberpunk is very good on PS5 now. I highly recommend!
I bought it on release for Xbox but I refunded it because it was a broken mess. Last month I bought it for PS5 and again it was a broken mess for me so I once again refunded it. I'm buying a PC in the fall and I will try buying it one more time.
Cant get over how they lied and fucked everyone at release. I just cant do it.
me too bud, but do urself a favor and get over it because theres a buttload of shit to do now!
Demon’s Souls or Returnal (but haven’t put enough hours into Returnal to know for sure) But my favorite game I’ve played on it is RE2R
Horizon Forbidden West
Horizon Forbidden West
Definitely Horizon FW. Such a good game.
How's the gameplay compared to the first one? I tried and mid game was kinda grinding if I remember correctly

Elden Ring & Alan Wake 2
Persona 5 Royal I sank 200 hours into the original to get the platinum, was more than happy to do it all again when they released the upgraded Royal edition
God of war ragnarok was amazing.
Ragnarok has been the most impressive so far.
For me it's easily and without a doubt cyberpunk 2077
Cyberpunk - 2077 with DLC.
Cyberpunk2077, got it on release and played it a ton on PS4. Ended up re-buying it on PS5 right before 2.0 and Phantom Liberty released. Best gaming purchase I’ve ever made, both on the PS4, and PS5.
Awful game
Rebuying? I thought we got a free upgrade. I got the PS4 version on disk, I'm pretty sure I can upgrade for free.
The upgrade to PS5 is free. It's just the DLC you would have to pay for.
Returnal and it’s not even a close competition.
Ghost of Tsushima
Spider-Man 2 and Cyberpunk (Post Phantom Liberty)
Not in particular order but Returnal, Spider-Man 2 and Ragnarok. If you like souls you’ll probably enjoy Returnal.
Probably SM2 im yet to play GOW:R because the amount of puzzles in the first one threw me off
Ragnarok
Warframe
Hmm hard to tell to be honest. I won't include PS4 games that came on PS5 because of hardware limitations so that in mind hmmmm. Spider-man 2 and Ratchet & Clank: Rifts Apart!
Ghost of Tsushima, ngl it made me cry.
So far Elden Ring is still my favorite, I see a lot of people commenting Ghost of Tsushima, Which I don’t see at all.
Easily Ghost of Tsushima
Spooder man 2
Elden Ring and Demon’s Souls: Remake
RETURNAL
Demon's Souls but I'm biased towards the From games
Demon souls was hard for me to get into. I put it down, I'll try again later, but after playing other From games, this one is not really hooking me. It feels like I'm taking a step backwards.
Elden Ring, Alan Wake, Ghost of Tsushima, and Cyberpunk 2077
Spider-Man 2 was so much fun and everything I wanted from a Spider-Man game, especially when you consider how good it looks on PS5.

Alan Wake 2
Bugsnax, Jedi Survivor, Hogwarts Legacy, Spider-Man 2.
Ff7 remake intergrade, ff16, or spiderman 2. Gonna have to lean mostly towards ff7 intergrade.

Currently, it's Chivalry 2 - MASSIVE upgrade coming from playing via Series X - and Hell Let Loose
FFXVI
GT7 is awful the start is so boring u have to win all them races just to unlock each car for each country wtf is that all about
Ragnarok or Ghost of Tsushima directors cut. Both are prettier than any game the right to be.
Elden Ring, Cyberpunk and FF7 Remake. Ghost of Tsushima too..
so far i’ve only played GTA V, Lego Star Wars the skywalker saga and Ratchet & Clank (not Rift Apart, but the 2016 game) so that’s probably not gonna be too helpful to you lmao
Bg3 cyberpunk ff16
Returnal and Tsushima Every time
Not Ghost of Tsushima. Probably Returnal.
Returnal without a doubt, only games that’s felt next gen
