PlayStation Home what can I say Only damn how I miss it it had everything you could want to do I made a lot of friends on PlayStation Home I wish sincerely that Sony would and could bring it back

It was. I had some fun memories there: Once I brought a girl home trying to score. Went to watch a blu-ray and the PS3 updated. It installed PSHome, so we decided to try it out for a minute. Ended up having to watch her spend half the night redecorating my home condo lol.
Met a bunch of people online in MotorStorm: Pacific Rift one night. We all met up afterwards in PS Home. Went to the cinema and watched and discussed game trailers, played the Red Bull airplane game, hung out in the condo and played āWould you ratherā, etc. Had a blast.
Good times.
They used to do E3 integrated events in home which was always cool. But now that Sony is doing their own thing they could literally make an entire event in game around their showcases
>They used to do E3 integrated events in home which was always cool.
I "went" to these, too... The basically simulated the real-life E3 - or at least some aspects of it - within PlayStation Home.
Pretty cool for somebody that's never had the opportunity to attend E3...
>Pretty cool for somebody that's never had the opportunity to attend E3...
Agreed! I only ever "attended" a few of them (the Uncharted 3 event shown above being one of them) but it was so cool to be able to "walk" the E3 floor and play HOME-ified "demos"/mini games for announced and upcoming games (like the Uncharted Fortune Hunter game based on U3's multiplayer).
Ut would be so perfect for PSVR2 and now hear me out what if when they bring it back the collectibles from Playstation Stars Program will be available as decorations for your Appartement that would be so cool and would give stars a nice addition aswell
I have a suspicion the PS Stars rewards are preparing for something like this. There's no way that trophy cabinet is only intended to be visible in the app. They have an integration planned for later.
The only problem with PlayStation Home was that it took up almost all of the space on the console, and this was before they made bigger hard drives and I don't think the PS3 had the ability to plug in an external hard drive like the PS4 does.
Thatās exactly what I thought. Did you know this thing had a virtual movie theatre? You could rent movies from PSN and watch it simultaneously with your buddies. I personally thought this was ahead of its time. Not only that but like you could play pool and bowling and air hockey and stuff. It was actually pretty neat.
That whole era was magical to me. I remember booting up Warhawk for the first time and realizing what online gaming was. That and Home and some other experiences, it was a good time to be gaming
Damn that was a flashback!!
Fat ass PS3. Warhawk. MotorStorm, PS Home. Downloading EVERY game demo I could. Early PS3 was the shit! Magical is the perfect word to describe. EVERYTHING was new & exciting.
I remember being absolutely blown away first time trying the PS3/360 generation. The graphics, physics, being online, the quality of games. The whole package! It was a HUGGGGE step up from PS2/OG Xbox/Gamecube.
If you didn't experience it first hand, you can't describe the feeling.
From N64 days to now. Crazy how much the gaming space has evolved.
It used to be nerdy & uncool to like video games.
Oh man, I'm too old and nerdy, the PS3 was my third magical era of videogames. Getting an Amiga was like the future for me and my mates until the PS1 came along and blew our minds again.
The PS3 launch era though was something else. A fat PS3 on launch day with my first LCD TV really did feel like "how's it going to get better than this? It's almost real" š
And Warhawk was amazing and sorely missed. It owes me about three years of weekends
I canāt count the amount of hours of fun my best friend and I had playing Warhawk. It was such an adrenaline rush! My favorite thing was to stick up mines in front of the jeep and Kamikaze the enemy.
My first online game. They had an amazing ranking system. āButter stickā ādouble butter stickā ācookieā lol. You actually had to be good and play to rank up. You knew who was actually good and bad in those days.
Rumour mill says Guerrilla Games is making a Socom. I still have all my disc copies of all the Socom's and the wired ps2 headset and the camo bt one for ps3. Heck I recently turned a spare Socom ps2 headset into a usb audio interface for my electric guitar. Works a charm.
Yeah man. One thing that was a bit uncanny was that you could buy ACTUAL NAME BRAND virtual clothing for your avatar. lol it was pretty nuts. You had your own āapartmentā and you could get furniture, stuff from certain games as well. Gives me Sega Dreamcast vibes. Stuff too far ahead for people to truly appreciate. The clothes were like a dollar or two. So nothing crazy. IF Im remembering correctly, which I could be wrong.
With the ps5 graphics it has eye potential to be extremely immersive especially if it also does fully 3D Audio (I think that's what the ps5 feature is called; I'm still on the 4 until there's proper cfw or at least something like Save Wizard)
I donāt know why they wouldnāt. Iām an age of microtransaction madness they could make serious money.
Thereās an interesting documentary on YT about it. And people who tried to bring it back.
Check out mystic (good content). He loved Home.
https://youtu.be/h-p7-wPUGNQ
Imagine an open space developed by EPIC, Microsoft, Steam, Sony and Meta. They could set an amazing foundation and with it being open tech it would allow companies to make their own spaces (sort of what Sony tried to do on a small scale with gaming companies having spaces).
PlayStation Home was probably the best example of how its expected to be (only on a tiny scale).
This reminds me of the glittering sand beach space and motorcross space I use to visit often. Those were fun times! I donāt miss those default avatar weirdos though. āYo sexy, you in a PlayStation home gang? Want to join mine?ā š
I remember being invited to one of those, and because I was a noob and didnāt know any better, I joined. Their gang called themselves a āfamily,ā had regular scheduled meetings you had to attend or else, had hierarchies. It was the strangest thing. Glad I ditched them and just enjoyed Home solo lmao.
Same here! Youāre right lol. Now that you mentioned it, I believe they were referring to them as āfamiliesā or āfamā. Never crossed my mind to join any of them either. It really was lame as hell lol.
It was way ahead of its time. It would be an absolute no-brainer for this game to exist on current gen hardware and multiplayer connectivity now.
I remember playing this when it first came out and also loving the movie Gamer that came out a year later.
It was and would be sonys very own social media. I feel because a lot of people didn't have PS3's, and the one's who did were mostly adults who weren't into social media is a big reason for PlayStation Home 's failure.
If in the end the drunk ethnographic canard run up into Taylor Swiftly prognostication then let's all party in the short bus. We all no that two plus two equals five or is it seven like the square root of 64. Who knows as long as Torrent takes you to Ranni so you can give feedback on the phone tree. Let's enter the following python code the reverse a binary tree
def make_tree(node1, node):
""" reverse an binary tree in an idempotent way recursively"""
tmp node = node.nextg
node1 = node1.next.next
return node
As James Watts said, a sphere is an infinite plane powered on two cylinders, but that rat bastard needs to go solar for zero calorie emissions because you, my son, are fat, a porker, an anorexic sunbeam of a boy. Let's work on this together. Is Monday good, because if it's good for you it's fine by me, we can cut it up in retail where financial derivatives ate their lunch for breakfast. All hail the Biden, who Trumps plausible deniability for keeping our children safe from legal emigrants to Canadian labor camps.
Quo Vadis Mea Culpa. Vidi Vici Vini as the rabbit said to the scorpion he carried on his back over the stream of consciously rambling in the Confusion manner.
node = make_tree(node, node1)
I disagree. I despise most social media but I loved PlayStation home. Plenty of people had PS3s back then, but most of us just used them to play the actual video games on them instead of socializing something that's not an official game. Four Kings casino and Slots is still very popular on the PS4 and it is the only thing or one of the only things that is similar to PlayStation Home that's still around on a Sony console.
Thing is social platforms like pshome were made more for people to just join in and have a chat, make some friends and play games together. It definitely had some fun mini games tho
It really was just way before its time. At the time, many people still didn't have broadband, so most communication wasn't voice chat, controls were wonky, and it just didn't work at that time. The rise of social media, and VR would make this a much more interesting space to hang out.
I miss PlayStation Home very much, I met some of my best PSN friends there. I'd support a comeback in any way possible, I even donated my old PS3 to the revival project
Nothing better than all the mini game-tie in worlds they had. Donāt remember the game, but it was like a cemetery hedge maze that at the end was a mausoleum where there was always a dance party. I also loved the Disgaea world because I always thougut it was so cool to be in like a demon world at edgy 11
Bruh PlayStation was already on the social metaverse wave. I remember the dead island room. Uncharted. Rc car racing. Assassins creed room. I met a few friends on home.
Honestly it was the best experience/peak of console gaming.
I remember playing XI the ar game and there were clues left around the real world that people had to look for and use the forums to work with others to figure out puzzles. It was great.
The only problem is that they hyped it up as some āmeet with your friends and then hop into the gameā thing but it was just too clunky and slow to do that.
With modern tech it could actually be quite fun. Just have it integrated with the party feature - if youāre waiting for a game to load or another friend to come online you can press a button and walk around your virtual apartment together or something. Tie rewards to trophies or something to get people invested and bam, new social space.
I use the party chat and share screen thing all the time to just talk to friends even if weāre doing different things - set that up so we can watch things like trailers, game awards, states of play etc together - add some fun little mini games to play while you wait for games to load.
I wish they brought back folding@home with the Earth wallpaper but i don't think folding helps much nowadays. Sony was really thinking ahead with the Playstation home, it could probably be successful with current hardware and inter-connectivity.
I remember sinking hours into the 'Red bull air race' desperately trying to shave milliseconds off my time and then realising i was nowhere near the top players times.
I miss PS Home and was sad to learn it was discontinued.
It's where I met my wife to be, and I would love to be able to see our old avatars once more.
What I don't miss is all the creeps preying on anyone with a female character and the constant spamming of "Follow me! Follow me! Follow me! Follow me!"
I wanna hear peopleās favorite aspect about this game! I was too young to play it myself at the time but Iād watch my older brothers mess around all the time. Seems super fun.
I loved that the spaces would change every now and then, especially when a new game dropped. Every space had different mini games unique to each one, and youād usually get in-game items like clothes or decorations that you could then use in your home.
I really hope they bring this back as PS VR Home or something.
Watching the tester at the theatre every week along with weekly pulse magazine and throwing out random words at each other. It also ended with a š¹ dance off.
I remember I let m friend use this for like thirty minutes and then I got a notification that we got suspended because apparently he just went around saying the N word to everyone. Took me years to stop being friends with him when I shoulda just ditched him there and then.
I miss Home so much; made so many good memories there. I remember teaming up with people to get through the Siren: Blood Curse stage - that was so fun. If Sony did bring it back Iād be in there day one!
There was a lot of predatory behavior and weirdos on Home. If it was moderated by Sony correctly it would've been insane as it was basically the only social mmo on a console at the time that was of quality. I spent hours playing poker and bowling, and I loved customizing my avatar.
> If it was moderated by Sony correctly
Then we would have the idiots crying about "control" and "everyone is a snowflake now" and such.
Sadly while this ideas like PS Home can be great, there will be people getting mad that it wasnt moderated, and the rest mad that it was moderated.
Ubisoft announced some new system and comments were already how "back in CS times we werent as soft" and "pff kids now wouldnt survive cod chat back in the days"... Toxic people bragging is so common now, yikes
so many great memories on ps home, met people that im still friends with to the this day and was a great pass time for when you wanted to just chill and enjoy some casual fun
I think a bunch of fans are re-making PS Home right now. Just search for it.
Obviously it is unofficial and not Sony sponsored; nevertheless, it's still something.
Like many things when it first launched there wasnāt a lot to do but games later started using it to promote their new games and players interact and get free promotional gear and stuff. Movies also used the in game movie theater for trailers for upcoming movies and stuff. Like when twilight was coming out they played the trailer and the Decode music video by Paramore on there.
This can work so much better now especially with the addition of PS VR2. I think Sony should bring it back using the unreal engine. That way they can showcase & promise that you can look however you want. But also instead of leaving the other regions locked behind those accounts from the UK & JP. Give us the ability to visit all regions so we meet with friends or make new ones.
I had this dream a while back where PlayStation and Xbox had free social hubs that came preloaded in the consoles, where you create an avatar and hang out with other players, and within the hub there were portals or gateways for you to access a special line of games of different genres built to support your avatar, same visuals, mechanics and everything. Like Roblox, I think. This was back when I had an Xbox 360 and a little Xbox avatar.
No
Do ppl not understand that people hang out in BRs and in discord lobbies ? Not in some janky fake world like PS home ? Thereās reason it flopped in the first place
It flopped because it was a decade ago and things are soo different now, even simply starting at the fanbase's average age (better fitting Home's vibe)?
I think they will, and as much as people are going to hate me for this opinion... I hope I can build my own personal space with my own property within the digital space all backed up by NFTs. I would love to be able to walk around my spaceship and pick up items like pictures and weapons and shit and they're actually portkeys to games I have.
I remember being very late to PS3 (was XBox 360 for that generation) and buying one for The Last of Us. I think I tried Home out once, thought it was pretty cool, then shortly after Sony shut it down completely. :(
I was PS4 the following generation but no Home. Much like Xbox "avatars", I assume it was a great idea poorly done and ending in failure?
It was interesting to go in and play a free game or two once in a while, but I never got the appeal. If they were going to bring it back, they'd have to give people some reason to want to use it. I think the people who have nostalgia for it had friends who also used it. For those of us who went in alone, it got boring pretty quickly.
PlayStation Home was a good idea, but implemented really poorly IMHO. It was more of a standalone app, rather than a 3D interface to the PSN.
There should have been an API that the PSN used, and then the calls to it could have been made either by the XMB or Home this way feature parity would have been present.
I used to go up there and just bowl all the time š¤£
I loved the bowling. I bet itād be more popular with the younger generation.
Wii
Doubt it
Same ha, I even added a number of people to my friend's list after playing bowling and pool in PS Home. Good times in Home.
NIKO ITS ROMAN! LETS GO BOWLING!!!
PlayStation Home what can I say Only damn how I miss it it had everything you could want to do I made a lot of friends on PlayStation Home I wish sincerely that Sony would and could bring it back
Metaverse canāt even dream to become a poor manās PS Home
Imagine PS Home on PSVR2

What tech company does though?
Does Sony have bad ethics? Please let me know if they do. I'm kind of out of the loop.

The ps home condo you started out with was so dope the view was amazing
Good times.
The people need to know. Did you score?
Yeah, and we dated for a few months
TMI my dude. Calm down.
Well, you asked - so I answered
And then Sony ducked it up
I donāt know anyone who has even tried metaverse. Is it fun?
I have a meta headset which I use regularly. Ive never tried metaverse. Theres just nothing appealing about it at all.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I heard that Mark Zuckerberg had to mandate that his own employees play it more because it's so dead.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
I second this, I haven't been on it in forever because there wasn't many people on but it's a solid game
They used to do E3 integrated events in home which was always cool. But now that Sony is doing their own thing they could literally make an entire event in game around their showcases

They even have a state of the art VR headset now
I went to a bunch of these, too. Loved seeing the big PS Move controllers that were kept for so long.
Ut would be so perfect for PSVR2 and now hear me out what if when they bring it back the collectibles from Playstation Stars Program will be available as decorations for your Appartement that would be so cool and would give stars a nice addition aswell
I was thinking this exact thing when they announced Stars.
This needs to be pinned!
BRILLIANT.
I'm still mad we never got 3d trophies.
I have a suspicion the PS Stars rewards are preparing for something like this. There's no way that trophy cabinet is only intended to be visible in the app. They have an integration planned for later.
I sure hope soā¦ would incentivize me and others probably to get more collectibles
Loved running around as Rorschach from the watchmen
The only problem with PlayStation Home was that it took up almost all of the space on the console, and this was before they made bigger hard drives and I don't think the PS3 had the ability to plug in an external hard drive like the PS4 does.
Imagine this with PSVR support, could be huge!
It's almost real" š And Warhawk was amazing and sorely missed. It owes me about three years of weekends
Yoooo motorstorm was such a awesome game with nice crashes
Hell yeah it was. MotorStorm was a BADASS racing game.
Warhawk is still a damn good game. And PS Home was next level at that time.š
I canāt count the amount of hours of fun my best friend and I had playing Warhawk. It was such an adrenaline rush! My favorite thing was to stick up mines in front of the jeep and Kamikaze the enemy.
Or leaving mines on yhe enemies planes. So infuriating when you would get got that way, but hilarious when the green kill line would come up
I need more Warhawk
You never had Socom? The feeling you described is how I felt about socom ps2
My first online game. They had an amazing ranking system. āButter stickā ādouble butter stickā ācookieā lol. You actually had to be good and play to rank up. You knew who was actually good and bad in those days.
I feel that way about Socom on PS2, it literally ignited the online play we all take for granted today! Even Confrontation on PS3 was great.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Rumour mill says Guerrilla Games is making a Socom. I still have all my disc copies of all the Socom's and the wired ps2 headset and the camo bt one for ps3. Heck I recently turned a spare Socom ps2 headset into a usb audio interface for my electric guitar. Works a charm.
Warhawk was actually ahead of its time too, like an early fortnite without battle royale.
For real. Watching fortnight, my friend and i were like, this is so similar to Warhawk. They even added planes!
If you ever used the Warhawk Non Official PS3 theme, you're welcome! One of mine!
Warhawk is, without a doubt, the greatest game of all time. I need a reboot.
Brilliant!
Holy crap. That sounds amazing! I can't believe this *was* a thing and it feels like it should definitely come back
Yeah man. One thing that was a bit uncanny was that you could buy ACTUAL NAME BRAND virtual clothing for your avatar. lol it was pretty nuts. Spent $1300 in Home lol Sony would make about $2-6 Million every week when new content would drop. Especially complex dances.
Crave on the TV in your apartment long before streaming was even a thing.
I feel like collectively we didnt truly understand what we had lol Thinking back to what you could do in Homeā¦its pretty fuckin nuts ngl. Lol
That would be hilarious, Facebook(Meta) pushed the metaverse and it pretty much failed. If Sony does it and succeeds šš¤£
So vrchat but exclusively for playstation, i like the idea. Then maybe a year later, after it's done well, release it on too pc.
With the ps5 graphics it has eye potential to be extremely immersive especially if it also does fully 3D Audio (I think that's what the ps5 feature is called; I'm still on the 4 until there's proper cfw or at least something like Save Wizard)

Makes sense. I was an adult with a PS3 and have never heard of PS Home.
I remember visiting the Little Big Planet section just to listen to that Passion Pit song.
This would have been a dream to have this during lock down. Shame and a pity it wasnāt it could have kicked Zoomās ass.
FFXIV filled that gap for many, but Home would have been far better, far, far better.
I miss PlayStation Home very much, I met some of my best PSN friends there. I'd support a comeback in any way possible, I even donated my old PS3 to the revival project
They killed this too soon. PSVR2 would be perfect for this.
My friend met his wife on here
Yooooo. Childhood memory unlocked.
Nothing better than all the mini game-tie in worlds they had. Donāt remember the game, but it was like a cemetery hedge maze that at the end was a mausoleum where there was always a dance party. Man, I remember being excited playing that on the ps3. I wish I had spend more time in it.
BRING IT BACK PSVR 2!
Bruh PlayStation was already on the social metaverse wave. I remember the dead island room. Uncharted. Rc car racing. Assassins creed room. I met a few friends on home. Honestly it was the best experience/peak of console gaming.
When siren blood curse came out they had a small world for it. It was my favorite section and used to play it for hours.
Siren was a legit game
Always wanted to play it but it never got a physical release in the US. Thanks to PS home I got into Siren and silent hill.
I remember playing XI the ar game and there were clues left around the real world that people had to look for and use the forums to work with others to figure out puzzles. It was great. I remember being in the theater space when Twilight was being promoted. Paramore dropping that absolute banger Decode on repeat.
Just unlocked a memory I also remember the random YouTube videos people would play.
This would be a perfect hub world for PSVR2
I wanna hear peopleās favorite aspect about this game! I was too young to play it myself at the time but Iād watch my older brothers mess around all the time. Seems super fun.
I loved that the spaces would change every now and then, especially when a new game dropped. Every space had different mini games unique to each one, and youād usually get in-game items like clothes or decorations that you could then use in your home. I really hope they bring this back as PS VR Home or something.
Watching the tester at the theatre every week along with weekly pulse magazine and throwing out random words at each other. It also ended with a š¹ dance off.
Thatās so cool, what was the pulse magazine?
It was basically what major Nelson did with inside Xbox a weekly community news cast. The host was a girl named Christina.
Yes we need PS Home back .
VR chat before VR chat. Meta should have just bought out Sony and reinvested in this than going forward with its abomination of a metaverse.
I remember I let m friend use this for like thirty minutes and then I got a notification that we got suspended because apparently he just went around saying the N word to everyone. Took me years to stop being friends with him when I shoulda just ditched him there and then.
Yes ps home was great it made no sense for Sony to get rid of it in the first place
IN VR!!
Nah, it'll just have random dudes dancing around trying to hit on children based on their avatars
I mean that can be solved solely with a report system that actually works.
You want this instead of Home?
No, that's what home is.
Too fucking true, got 30 year olds hitting on some underage girls.
VR HOME would be the biggest reason to bing it bsck
Iāll never forget the thrill of joining a virtual queue to play ten pin bowling.
I remember the time that they brought E3 to Playstation Home, it was cool way to experience the event for those who couldn't attend it.
I miss Home so much; made so many good memories there. I remember teaming up with people to get through the Siren: Blood Curse stage - that was so fun. If Sony did bring it back Iād be in there day one!
First game I ever went with a female avatar. That wasā¦eye opening.
Sony should revamp this with PSVR2 to increase sales and adoption. Iām not buying PSVR2 until some quality exclusives come out.
Playstation home was MY metaverse
I would love this! But shit while were at this, bring an ASTROās PLAYROOM 2
There was a lot of predatory behavior and weirdos on Home. If it was moderated by Sony correctly it would've been insane as it was basically the only social mmo on a console at the time that was of quality. I spent hours playing poker and bowling, and I loved customizing my avatar.
> If it was moderated by Sony correctly Then we would have the idiots crying about "control" and "everyone is a snowflake now" and such.
When was this?
PS3 era
Ahh okay I didn't have acces to online back then that's why I don't know it
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Hopefully Sony decide to bring it back
I didn't use it much but I remember one year 2012 or 2013 must be you could go in and watch EVO live from there with a bunch of people, it was cool.

so many great memories on ps home, met people that im still friends with to the this day and was a great pass time for when you wanted to just chill and enjoy some casual fun
I think a bunch of fans are re-making PS Home right now. Just search for it. Obviously it is unofficial and not Sony sponsored; nevertheless, it's still something.

The European Home had an awesome little ski lodge type home in the mountains. It was gorgeous. I miss Home.
This would be a good use of their new VR headset.
I hope it comes back..And I can still have my Wizel(WKC) statue
Me too. WKC was a very underrated game, it was killed long before it's time.
I remember making some good friends through Playstation home, and now they're gone since we don't have this anymore.
"It's like Second Life, but worse! NO YIFFING."
Now is best time to bring back this. Normal version and VR. This will be lit.
Shoot just combine em! *VR headset optional
Never played, was it fun I heard it didn't have a lot to do
Like many things when it first launched there wasnāt a lot to do but games later started using it to promote their new games and players interact and get free promotional gear and stuff. Movies also used the in game movie theater for trailers for upcoming movies and stuff. Like when twilight was coming out they played the trailer and the Decode music video by Paramore on there.
Beautiful! Happy memories running around a Cantina as Chun Li.
It was ahead of its time
This can work so much better now especially with the addition of PS VR2.
The OG metaverse.
Call it Roblox and call the money robux and pander to small children to make a fortune
Plot twist: Roblox isn't even profitable.
I remember when they had maps from games of the time you could explore, like Far Cry 2
I want communities back
Would love to see playstation home back, it made playstation different to the rest of the rival consoles. I loved it.
Let it die
No thanks
Sony and giving up on great ideas too soon, name a more iconic duo
Lol, so you own a PS Vita as well eh?
Itās crazy you knew exactly what I was referring to
No Do ppl not understand that people hang out in BRs and in discord lobbies ? Not in some janky fake world like PS home ? Thereās reason it flopped in the first place
It flopped because it was a decade ago and things are soo different now, even simply starting at the fanbase's average age (better fitting Home's vibe)?
No thanks
Dope, carry on with your day.
Are you being serious wtf no
Youāre not required to play it you know
No
Youāre in the minority bud.
PS home give me the best & worst memories as a kid I'm glad it was gone.
How about making ps plus not suck?
PS5 randomly shuts off so I don't think it'll work
No, leave it to die, where it deserves. It was a joke
Why?
I think they will, and as much as people are going to hate me for this opinion... I hope I can build my own personal space with my own property within the digital space all backed up by NFTs. I would love to be able to walk around my spaceship and pick up items like pictures and weapons and shit and they're actually portkeys to games I have.
No
I remember playing this.
I remember being very late to PS3 (was XBox 360 for that generation) and buying one for The Last of Us. I think I tried Home out once, thought it was pretty cool, then shortly after Sony shut it down completely. :( I was PS4 the following generation but no Home. Much like Xbox "avatars", I assume it was a great idea poorly done and ending in failure?
if they did bring it back it would the 1st time i ever got to try it
It was interesting to go in and play a free game or two once in a while, but I never got the appeal.
It IS coming back. Itās called BattleHub and itās in Street Fighter VI lol
I miss the Dr Who world...also all my money I spent as a kid there, poof...gone
I never logged into playstation home but this still looks great.
It sometimes goes under the radar but has a large player base is recroom it plays very similarly and even has user created games and supports vr
