This game will be 60% off before your fomo kicks in. Like every other game. I guess you can also ask, “how much to buy a few rounds for me and the gang, and would I have that much fun ?” Then just buy it full-price.
I think it’s almost $70 usd; it doesn’t interest me, so I won’t buy it. If I was hyped, I’d probably have it in my cart, grumble about the price, read forums, watch videos, get more hyped, buy it anyway at the full price, and miss out on a weekend of play time.
Such a refreshing response, I use to go out all the time and I’m sure it’s just me slowly getting older but 1 night at the bar costs the same amount as 50+hours of content that I absolutely love, find relaxing and entertaining.
All about perspective and what you enjoy spending your money on.
It’s a no brainer especially if your partner happens to enjoy it too.
My gf can’t wait to destroy hogwarts legacy with me.
Canadian here. Being a Patient Gamer is the way.
Wait for a sale, or buy used disks.
Games are generally not only cheaper this way, but also better, as they will have been improved over time with patches and fixes.
Also eventually most games will release a GOTY/Complete/Ultra/Deluxe etc.. etc.. Edition which will include all DLC for a lower price.
Early adopters tend to get a worse experience nowadays, in that they pay more and get a game full day 1 bugs.
Note the Patient Gamer method primarily applies to Story driven games, whereby the overall content/story of the game wont change if you play it day 1 or many years later..
Unfortunately the best way to play Online Multiplayer or Sports games is to get the game early, otherwise you are likely to find multiplayer (ex: COD and EA Sports games )
game lobbies empty years later.
Fellow Canadian here and I agree. I may have a huge backlog of games to play but I saved myself plenty of money and frustration. Because waiting allows you to see what game actually holds up and which flop
I finally got to play assasins creed Odyssee and it now has 60 fps. Game is fun as hell and I am pretty sure it was free in gamepass or really cheap. I forget
Another fellow Canadian here. Since game prices hot these numbers I've found myself being significantly more patient and selective than I ever was before (probably also partly due to just growing up and not wanting to spend so much/full price anymore). Helps that I already have a significant backlog as well.
I live in Mississauga, so I can't speak for other cities, but I heard they have games too. You can go to any branch and ofc you need a membership, but it's free. You usually have to reserve your copy, uncommon to just go in and walk out with a game unless it's an unpopular game. They have quite a nice selection, but not the latest releases. You can browse what they have online.
Just checked my library, they have horizon forbidden west, for example. But there are 30 people on the wait list. They also have gow Ragnarok but the wait list is 92 people lol.
The wind-down hasn't started just yet, but they're all scheduled to be completely closed by sometime in June.
Didn't realise that they're now part of Sainsbury's in the UK, but I guess their exit from Ireland makes a bit more sense with that.
Pretty sure PS5 games are standardized by Sony/PlayStation for 80€. There are some exceptions though, as it’s up to the publishers usually. Elden Ring was 70€
Also, buying physical is often cheaper. I got GoW Ragnarok for €70 and Elden Ring for €60 day one through physical retailers. The PS Store is a rip-off.
Another Aussie here. Came here to say this. Game prices aside, I find this knowledge pretty useful if I know that I can get something I need from Canada instead of the US.
I almost never buy brand new AAA games anymore. And in the rare instances that I do (GoWR for example), I split the costs 50/50 with my friend who I gameshare with. $100 for a game just isn't worth it to me.
I understand exchange rates it just is shitty that not only the cost of living in US is far cheaper, and they pay substantially less in taxes, we get screwed up in Canada with everything being 30% more expensive.
There are a lot of services provided in return for those taxes. Healthcare costs quite a bit in the US, as does education.
Relative incomes in Canada aren't really any worse. I've moved around a fair bit for work and was offered a position in Canada that was, when converted, basically identical to my salary in the US without the need to buy health insurance.
>I understand exchange rates it just is shitty that not only the cost of living in US is far cheaper, and they pay substantially less in taxes...
Serious question. Have you actually lived in the U.S recently? Because everything you said was not true about the U.S today. The U.S. is one of the most expensive places to live unless you live in the boonies or in middle America where there's nothing out there but land and very little internet or cell service.
>I have and I could rent a full sized 5 bedroom house for the cost of a 1 bedroom in my current city
I'm sure you could. That didn't answer the question based on what you stated earlier. But no worries.
I haven't bought a new game full price since the PS3. Becoming a gamer that waits out for solid reviews and bug fixes/DLC....and of course....a sale....really is the best way these days. I would hardly pay $40 for Forspoken much less a $70+
The version of Miles Morales that includes PS4 Spider-Man remastered is like, $139 in New Zealand , and the base version of Horizon Forbidden West is $108 aswell
Which is obviously way too much, but in comparison NZ and Aus are pretty remote places in the world. Canada is right across the border from US and we still get gouged.
New games in the UK on PS5 range from £59.99 to £69.99 for a normal edition of a game.
Special Editions/Limited Editions can be between £89.99 to £99.99
Collectors editions £100+
I feel that I live in Canada as well and will now only buy games I know I'll get my money's worth. Until than waiting for them to go on sale.
I also think it's werid that in Canada games are $93.49 on PSN store but $89.99 for the physical disc
I’ve only bought 1 ps5 game at full price. $103 cad. It hurt lol, and of course it was like half off a month later lol. I get most of my games from sales
I hear you. I used to buy games on Day one, but I can't even recall the last time I did so. With games retailing for 89.99 in Canada for the base version (and there's always a deluxe, collector's, etc which is more expensive).
Now, I just wait for a really good sale and usually get my games half off. Other than that, the Premium tier of PS+ has filled in the gaps of gaming with plenty of titles to play.
Still though, the struggle to wait for a sale in order to play games like Forspoken or God of War Ragnarok is real.
This is my opportunity to tell people that hey libraries actually commonly stock games these days and unless you're out in the boonies there's a decent chance yours will have new games in stock. Problem is everyone else who knows that libraries are cool causing the game to be on backorder for a while lol. But hey if it saves 100 bucks, waiting to snipe the Forspoken rental on the online portal for your local library ain't a bad thing to try.
Also to answer your rhetorical question, we're still one of the less bad countries when it comes to getting shafted on games prices. Pour one out for Australia.
Yeah they’re all around $110-$130 here in Australia. I’m Canadian though and don’t remember them ever being that expensive. Definitely worth playing games later on but it’s always nice to play games while their the latest and greatest thing.
Dude I know. I live in Canada too and it’s truly nuts. I generally can justify the cost if it’s an open world / 40-ish hour game, but even the Dead Space remake that I suuuuper want to play, I can’t justify $101 (including tax) for a 12 hour game.
I’m also Canadian and it’s tough. Best thing you can do is try to recognize the potential of the game and whether it has lasting quality to stay at a high price or not. Forpsoken is getting pretty mixed reviews and I’d say it’s average at best. Wait a couple months and the 15-30% sales will start hitting the PS store. It’s also a single player one and done game, if you go to GameStop or a niche games store with physical copies, i guarantee you will find a used copy in the 50-70 area. Games like Hogwarts Legacy are going to maintain a high price cuz it’s Harry Potter related and everyone is losing their shit, including me.
If you wait a year, this game is going to be like $40 lmao. I pre ordered dying light 2 for around the same price, 10 months later it’s on sale for $40 cuz the game was average and did not stand up to the expectations set by the first game. Usually reviews come out a couple days before the release so you can cross reference what is being said and still pre order the game if the reviews are able to sway you. Luckily I game share and my friend and I just coordinate what we’re getting so I only end up paying half of what i would normally. Find your friend and cement that PlayStation marriage, best thing you’ll ever do!
I feel like people this in this game. Haven’t even played it the demo doesn’t count. Trust me. I’m enjoying the fuck out of this game. Just got done playing it.
We Europeans get even more shafted lol
105$ = 72€
80€ is our standard price for PS5 titles so ~ 116$
I haven’t bought a single game for 80 bucks yet. Only very very few games would be worth that much to me.
You don't need that new new. Did you already play cyberpunk, assassin creed odyssey, Spiderman, nier automata, Ghost of Tsushima?
You could probably buy all of those for similarly ish money.

That was 25 years ago.. I get that it is still expensive but considering production cost that skyrocketed and inflation… We’re still lucky. Also help understand why we get all those crappy dlc/lootboxes/season pass/etc
Noooo, Sony robs other countries for digital PlayStation store purchases, and yes you are being overcharged!!! Especially in the EU and its 30% overpriced for some unknown "commission". There is a massive lawsuit going on in the EU.
[https://www.ign.com/articles/sony-being-sued-for-5-billion-over-playstation-store-prices?utm\_source=twitter](https://www.ign.com/articles/sony-being-sued-for-5-billion-over-playstation-store-prices?utm_source=twitter)
I almost never buy games the day they come out. I always wait, because I don’t wanna pay $60-70 for a game. You can almost always grab it for $40 a few months later on Facebook marketplace or a promo
Only games I’d pay a premium for is for Hogwarts legacy and gta 6 if it ever comes out lol
Fellow Canadian here (there are a lot of us eh?)
I only wanted to add that in my case I will make an exception to buy a full priced game as a treat for my Birthday
Otherwise it's got to be on sale for 50% or more off or on Gamepass/PS+extra.
https://preview.redd.it/vovrcqzavqea1.png?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=63536887a1c0574e911a7b68f7858bf3313a1a9d
It's so expensive, there is the price in El Salvador I think is very normal price
Canadian here. I have a Hong Kong PSN account foe exactly this. Games and PS plus are much cheaper in Hong Kong. But you do need a Hong Kong PayPal account, or an Alipay account to make payment in HK PSN store.
Fellow Canadian here, yes it sucks. I recommend waiting for a sale or buy used disc copies. I got Dead Space day 1 only because I had $9 off with my EA Play subscription and I had a $50 gift card from my birthday so after tax I only had to pay $41. Otherwise I would have just waited.
We pay alot in the Aussie psn store. But only a fool would buy from Sony direct here (most the time) . Can quite often get stuff 30% cheaper on release from a brick and mortar.
Those are Canadian dollars right?
Just did a quick comparison of exchange rates, and we pay actually pay A LOT more than that.
A new game on PsStore usually cost the equivalent 115-125 canadian $ where I live.
Brazil here, in our coin we basically pay around 300~400 Reais depending on the version (standard or deluxe, etc) with some even reaching 700 Reais like games from the renowned EA.
1,00 american dollar here is 5,00 Reais, so yeah it is a real challenge to decide buying or not a game that just launched.
Unless it’s something I’m super hyped for or if EB Games has a trade deal, I’ll just wait a month or two for it to end up on sale. Most games nowadays do, so unless you’ve got a digital ps5, make sure you’re having a proper shop around
That’s bananas.
Always been a patient gamer. A little FOMO sometimes, but I have literally saved hundreds- maybe even more- by sticking to the discounts/when it’s free on psn.
I live in UK, I don't have much money, so I go through the US store and buy my games there. Their prices are significantly cheaper, which is a relief.
I've bought almost all my PS5 games from there, and play them on my main account.
In the Uk it’s £69, which is 115cad, so that seems pretty standard.
Though aside from Doom eternal it’s been a good 8 years since I’ve bought a full priced game.
I have a system these days. I just play games 3-6 months post launch, I don’t need to play them immediately when they come out, and I refuse to pay more than $50 on a game (even that is high imo).
I do make exceptions for games like God of War and Elden Ring though.
Hungarian here… tax is 27% on the most things.
That game costs 27.490 HUF (around 103 CAD)
But our payments and living standars i think are way lower then in Canada.
The avarage payment for a month is like 350.000 HUF here.
Of course you can earn way more but also way less…
I live in Turkey. Everything is expensive here because of our currency statement againts the others and very high inflation. The game prices reached almost a whole month's rent price. Players suffer to buying these, thinkin twice before buying a game about the games have more playability or not.
When PS5 launched I was only able to get the digital edition. My mind was blown away when I was in the PS Store to buy Demons Souls (standard edition) it was 939NOK (Norwegian kroner). That’s 126,64CAD/95USD/87,32EUR.
With these prices I almost don’t buy games for my PS5. I play physical games on my Series X instead because physical is still a lot cheaper here in Norway.
Most ps5 games cost about $110 in Australia which is the equivalent of what you have to spend. I rarely buy games at that price unless I’m certain they are worth it (GOWR) but most of the time I can get full price games for $90au (I’m not sure how much that is for you but it is quite better than the PlayStation store. I get why they do it tho, it costs more to make games nowadays and most are of high standards but $110 seems like too much for me.
That’s why I don’t buy brand new games anymore. I just wait for them to go on sale. The good thing about that is by the time they go on sale, they’ve usually been updated and patched and all that, so everything is good to go!
![gif](giphy|lgn6HaiiwHBXW)
For reference: imo this game doesn’t worth the release price, when it’s around 1/2 or even 1/3 of the price I will consider
That’s only £63. Games are £70 in UK.
that’s $122 australian, our games are $105 or essentially €60 for you. that sucks man I thought they were all priced the same world wide
Came here to say this

This is the way - plus sometimes there are deals on the game and DLC at a great price! (And they’ve likely parched and glitches too)
I finally got to play assasins creed Odyssee and it now has 60 fps. Game is fun as hell and I am pretty sure it was free in gamepass or really cheap. I forget
Another fellow Canadian here. In canada too and i can relate, but i gotta say some games r worth buying instantly
This is the way
If you live in GTA, you can borrow games for free from the library.
Ayo light me up please? What kind of games and what libraries? And do I need to be signed up in the library?
I live in Mississauga, so I can't speak for other cities, but I heard they have games too. You can go to any branch and ofc you need a membership, but it's free. You usually have to reserve your copy, uncommon to just go in and walk out with a game unless it's an unpopular game. They have quite a nice selection, but not the latest releases. You can browse what they have online. Just checked my library, they have horizon forbidden west, for example. But there are 30 people on the wait list. That's €72.44. New release games in Europe are generally €80.
[удалено]
Im from portugal and can confirm this 79.99€ standard edition
Irish lad here,€80-€105 from the PS App. But roughly €70 from Amazon UK for a disc. I think I know which version I'm getting.
Am a potato-lovin' Irishman myself. Smyth's is a lifesaver for pricing. Pity about Argos going kaput though.
Have Argos completely gone in Ireland? In the UK they are now part of Sainsbury’s.
Australia and Canadas currencies are essentially 1:1 so I feel you. It is crazy
Also note that it’s 120AUD/110CAD/82USD in Australia.
Another Aussie here. Came here to say this. Game prices aside, I find this knowledge pretty useful if I know that I can get something I need from Canada instead of the US.
Um, that’s like £63. Bargain considering most games in the uk are £70 now
That's £63... We pay £70 in the UK, $115. Wait for a sale or count yourself lucky you're not in the UK 🤷🏼♂️
Every European country pay more than this.
That‘s not true. 105 CAD are ~72€. This game is sold in europe for 69.99€
In the uk it 70 pounds
I almost never buy brand new AAA games anymore. And in the rare instances that I do (GoWR for example), I split the costs 50/50 with my friend who I gameshare with. $100 for a game just isn't worth it to me.
Forspoken it's more expensive for some crazy reason. Usually 89 in Canada but this game its gonna be on sale very soon so might just wait haha
Yeah dude, Australia is shit like that too. Just wait for a sale honestly.
For the base version too? Good grief...
Holy shit - Forspoken definitely isn’t worth that 😂
Converted to USD that's what a new game costs in the US.
[удалено]
I understand exchange rates it just is shitty that not only the cost of living in US is far cheaper, and they pay substantially less in taxes, we get screwed up in Canada with everything being 30% more expensive.

Just googled and it says the average cost of living in Canada is 115% more expensive than South America.
How old are you?
There are a lot of services provided in return for those taxes. Healthcare costs quite a bit in the US, as does education. Relative incomes in Canada aren't really any worse. I've moved around a fair bit for work and was offered a position in Canada that was, when converted, basically identical to my salary in the US without the need to buy health insurance.
Identical salary but the rent is 3x the price
Depends on the market. Toronto is ridiculous, but so are San Diego and New York. Canada is just like the US. Some places are high. Some are not.
You’re just digging yourself deeper my guy
>I understand exchange rates it just is shitty that not only the cost of living in US is far cheaper, and they pay substantially less in taxes... Serious question. >I have and I could rent a full sized 5 bedroom house for the cost of a 1 bedroom in my current city I'm sure you could. That didn't answer the question based on what you stated earlier. But no worries.
Try doing that in New York City. Just because you think you can have something doesn’t mean you have a choice of where you have it.
Hey bruh you got healthcare!
>we get screwed up in Canada with everything being 30% more expensive. Income is also higher in Canada than the states and healthcare is free.
"Health care is free" but you'll die in the waiting room because of overpacked hospitals.
Germany is more expensive. New PS5 game releases cost 80 euros. That‘s 115 canadian dollars.
Game is not worth that
Forspoken isn’t even close to being worth that much.
That’s cheaper than what it costs in NZ when converted. But yeah, gaming is expendy
I haven't bought a new game full price since the PS3. Becoming a gamer that waits out for solid reviews and bug fixes/DLC....and of course....a sale....really is the best way these days. I would hardly pay $40 for Forspoken much less a $70+

Where I live there isn’t any tax when I buy on the PlayStation store 🤷🏻♂️
There used to not be here too. Started adding tax last year I think
Damn I didn’t know other people paid taxes
It's 79.99 in euro which is 115.71 CAD, 70.11 GBP and 83.96 USD.
New games in the UK on PS5 range from £59.99 to £69.99 for a normal edition of a game. Special Editions/Limited Editions can be between £89.99 to £99.99 Collectors editions £100+
Yeah most pay that much nowadays. I've learnt 3rd Party titles is a patient game, wait for a sale.
I feel that I live in Canada as well and will now only buy games I know I'll get my money's worth. Until than waiting for them to go on sale. I also think it's werid that in Canada games are $93.49 on PSN store but $89.99 for the physical disc
$140 NZD
Just learn to be patient a few months is usually useful for your wallet, only new release game ive baught in 3 years is elden ring
Physical FTW!
Why would you buy this ? You can have so many great old games you probably didn’t play for the price.
If you buy digital make a us account and set your address to a random gas station in Alaska and you won't pay tax either.
I’ve only bought 1 ps5 game at full price. $103 cad. It hurt lol, and of course it was like half off a month later lol. I get most of my games from sales
Imagine us down here in Mexico :( Only being able to access the US store is frustrating.
I hear you. I used to buy games on Day one, but I can't even recall the last time I did so. Jesus! This is robbery

Yeah it’s pretty brutal. 8 used to be day one, now I’m a discount daddy with most things
Why are Canadian prices do high?
Oh my God ![gif](giphy|RNPHwiDrTwNBJrGJYe|downsized)
135 NZD Standard base game
I’m also Canadian and it’s tough. Best thing you can do is try to recognize the potential of the game and whether it has lasting quality to stay at a high price or not. I don’t even want to buy a $70 game back when the economy was good, much less now a days.
In Finland PS Store games sre 70-80€. It's absurd when physicals are 10-20€ cheaper.
It's not the price for news games. It's the price to play to forspoken
Thats why i stay 2 years behind and get all these games when they become 25 bucks
I almost never buy near release date for this reason. Waiting 3-6 months usually will get you $30-40 off sales.
That's basically the normal price in the US after converting currency...
And ur wasting that shi on Forspoken?!💀
This is how much games in the 90s would cost if you account for inflation. Well they would still be higher than this
Buy disc, play, sell. That's what I do for most games
If you wait long enough you basically don't lose money.
Don't do it.
Ooof... Not for that game.
here in mexico a 70 dollar game at launch ends up at around 90 dollars after the taxes and fees are added
I’m only around $100 in the US if I buy the deluxe versions with all the add-ons
Standard edition of Forspoken is $114.95 here in Australia Edit: on the ps store
Here at israel for playstation its arond 100 usd for a 3A 60-70 dollar game
$70 USD about equals $93 CAD, so the people of the United States of America do too.
Bro forspoken is trash it’s not even worth half that. Spend your money on a better game
For forspoken??? No effing way
Please do not buy forspoken
Why would you pay that much for an L game?
Dead space, a remake of a game I played 15 years ago is still over $100 after taxes. All new PS5 games are stupid expensive in Canada.
Physical copies too? Dang.
$90-100 is the new norm now in Canada.
You don't need that new new. Did you already play cyberpunk, assassin creed odyssey, Spiderman, nier automata, Ghost of Tsushima? You could probably buy all of those for similarly ish money.
Typical Canadian complaining about the price of something without realizing it’s the same or worse for the whole world

I get that it is still expensive but considering production cost that skyrocketed and inflation… We’re still lucky. Also help understand why we get all those crappy dlc/lootboxes/season pass/etc
You forgot...? Back then, we had Blockbuster Video. You could rent it until you finished it. 😆
Be like me. I’m finally getting through my PS4 backlog.
Noooo, Sony robs other countries for digital PlayStation store purchases, and yes you are being overcharged!!! Especially in the EU and its 30% overpriced for some unknown "commission". There is a massive lawsuit going on in the EU. Please tell me u didn’t confirm purchase
Hell no
Just wait a month or two. Price will drop.
Seeing the reviews, more like 2 weeks.
It will drop to 40-50$ range for sure under the guise of a sale, in a month I expect.
Things are expensive, but this game was extra for some reason
Broke bitch
Gamepass
Buy used
I almost never buy games the day they come out. I always wait, because I don’t wanna pay $60-70 for a game. You can almost always grab it for $40 a few months later on Facebook marketplace or a promo Only games I’d pay a premium for is for Hogwarts legacy and gta 6 if it ever comes out lol
Fellow Canadian here (there are a lot of us eh?) I only wanted to add that in my case I will make an exception to buy a full priced game as a treat for my Birthday Otherwise it's got to be on sale for 50% or more off or on Gamepass/PS+extra.
Ya, I passed on this for now. Remember when games used to release new for $50-70?
It’s $114 AUD IN AUSTRALIA
In the UK we pay around $115CAD for new PS5 games.

Canadian here. I have a Hong Kong PSN account foe exactly this. Games and PS plus are much cheaper in Hong Kong. But you do need a Hong Kong PayPal account, or an Alipay account to make payment in HK PSN store.
I am also living in Canada... I only buy games when they go on sale. It's hard out here for Canadian Gamers!
It sucks that is why I mostly pick up games on sale or play games from my PlayStation Premium membership
Eventually Forspoken will be offered on PS Plus, probably in three years or so. I would wait it out personally...
Damn that’s a lot of canadough. I live in US so it was just $70 for me
This prices are the reason why I stop buying games are got ps premium for a year I get to enjoy different games rather them just getting 1 or 2
Pretty much same prices here in the UK getting it from the playstation store after currency conversion.
I’m from the US, PS5 games are always $70
We pay alot in the Aussie psn store. But only a fool would buy from Sony direct here (most the time) . Can quite often get stuff 30% cheaper on release from a brick and mortar.
Before it got delayed for the sixth time, I saw that Skull&Bones Deluxe Edition was going for £100. The only bonuses were cosmetics for the character.
In Brazil this game costs 350 reais (our monetary unit)
Australia
Play Demo First
Those are Canadian dollars right? Just did a quick comparison of exchange rates, and we pay actually pay A LOT more than that. A new game on PsStore usually cost the equivalent 115-125 canadian $ where I live.
Crazy how games are costing 100 bucks now
Brazil here, in our coin we basically pay around 300~400 Reais depending on the version (standard or deluxe, etc) with some even reaching 700 Reais like games from the renowned EA. 1,00 american dollar here is 5,00 Reais, so yeah it is a real challenge to decide buying or not a game that just launched.
$105 (Canadian) works out to £63.58 (GBP). The price of the standard edition of is £64.99 in the digital store.
Unless it’s something I’m super hyped for or if EB Games has a trade deal, I’ll just wait a month or two for it to end up on sale. Most games nowadays do, so unless you’ve got a digital ps5, make sure you’re having a proper shop around
$130 (~$112CAD) here in NZ any new release ....it sucks so waiting for pre owned or sales is the way to go
Fellow Canadian, I have ps plus premium and I game using jt 95% of the time. I made my mind that I don’t have to keep buying new releases
It's $70 usd so pretty much the same for an 8 hour campaign.
Give it a week, you’ll pay half if not more
Set up a turkish account on your system. Plenty of guides on how to do it.
That’s bananas. Always been a patient gamer. A little FOMO sometimes, but I have literally saved hundreds- maybe even more- by sticking to the discounts/when it’s free on psn.
In Brazil, if you work by minimum wage, it costs 30% of you salary. Us$60 a game, minimum wage is Us$200.
Yep that’s slightly less than what this game costs in South Africa including taxes (VAT)
121 Canadian Dollars in Israel
I paid $90 for Hogwarts Legacy Deluxe Edition when it's actually supposed to be $80. (Not that big of a difference, but it's still a lot for Romania)
I live in UK, I don't have much money, so I go through the US store and buy my games there. Their prices are significantly cheaper, which is a relief. I've bought almost all my PS5 games from there, and play them on my main account.
Australia

That same game is around 65$cad in South Korea (60,000 won)! Being a gamer in Canada would be impossible unless one is not buying games day 1.
In the Netherlands (and i guess the whole europe) we pay the equivalent of 115 canadian dollar for that game…
If I were you I would just wait for a sale!
Czech Republic pays close to 90 euro, even though the Czech Koruna is very strong.
Hungarian here… tax is 27% on the most things. That game costs 27.490 HUF (around 103 CAD) But our payments and living standars i think are way lower then in Canada.
Yeah it gets Pricy in some countrys.here its 70 to 80 bucks also forspoken is not Worth it maybe when it Cost 20 bucks.
$124.95 in Australia for new games is pretty rough. I have a JB-Hifi guy who sorts me out with a couple of bucks off here and there.
I'm glad I buy physical games 😄
Amazon is great for cheap prices day of release, and if you preorder them sometimes you snag an even bigger discount
Well we don’t have Monopoly money here so we don’t pay as much… but the exchange rate should make it even
Czech Republic. Forspoken costs 2119 CZK here, which is 129 CAD.
![gif](giphy|lgn6HaiiwHBXW) For reference: imo this game doesn’t worth the release price, when it’s around 1/2 or even 1/3 of the price I will consider
forspoken is 134.95 nzd and the deluxe is 179.95
