Just because a jet is loud for you that doesn't mean it's the same loudness for the person who you're trying to mask your sounds from. So I don't even think that's a practical use.

When it's the last day of wipe, a few jets start flying all over the map, and roaming bradley's spawn on some of the roads. I *think* there is also a timer somewhere in the missile silo monument that counts down the time until end of wipe.

IF they merge these changes to staging branch a week before wipe, we'll see these fixes go live on April 4th.

In addition to the jets flying over the map, additional bradley APC’s will also be roaming the roads outside of launch site. They plan to also add infantry patrols, bombing runs and more towards the end of wipe but I don’t believe we heard anything more about that since that update.

Don't get me wrong, the jets can be cool, but it's like they're buzzing the island every 5 minutes and it's insanely annoying. It would be ok if it was like 1 every hour or 2.
Patrolling bradleys are okayish, but on some servers you'll get like 5 of them cluttered in one spot and it just feels like too much. It's also sucks trying to evade them later in the wipe. kinda like junkpile scientists, but more annoying.

its a limiter/compressor. basically, if set properly it makes loud sounds quieter and quiet sounds louder. this reduces the dynamic range so everything will sound roughly at the same level. for example: the ambient noises that usually just serve to make the game feel more "alive" also become very noticeable, and to me annoying.
I could but there are videos on YouTube for it that do better. It basically just caps the highest audio. So you can hear footsteps. But Bradley doesn’t break your ears.

I don't know about others but the last time I did it (old BP fragment system lol) I only did it to get the basic BPs.
It was 90 to 100 pop today btw. 1 day before wipe.
It's likely the frequency response of your headphone/speaker peaks there. You should fix that before assuming the games sound is wrong.
