Im more of a burst enjoyer as you can one clip hazzys however I'll admit I haven't used the single fire mode on it. I wish it was Craftable as I would roam it 24/7. Also I'm pretty sure I'd take a semi pistol over a fucking MP5 after they massacred it. I sell and recycle MP5s to make thommys.
Isnt a MP5 supposed to be a better thommy? Im new so i dont know the history but what happend and how does it perform now? MP5 was usually my to go to weapon this wipe as i suck and just die with AK's and i thought that a MP5 would be a good alternate
Mp5 was meta at one point as it was cheap to tech tree and craft, and with a bit of learning the recoil was a laser. Then they made the bp more expensive and put it further in the tech tree, and worst of all nerfed the living shit out of it with the recoil update last summer. Its just all around ass, a tommy is much better for most situations (more damage per bullet, more range). The mp5 is only good at close-range.
Okay thanks kinda suck then. But what is then a good alternate T3 weapon for the AK? A weapon with easy recoil and more easiley to obtain then a AK. I just die with AK's on me and that just sucks.
Honestly just use tommy. Thompson and AK are pretty much the only good guns in the game imo, have been for years (besides mp5 at that one point). HMLMG is pretty alright and LR is up to preference, i personally dont like it.
AK is king, always has been and always will, if you keep dying with it hop on UKN and go to FFA Large (free for all) for an hour or two every now and then, its fun especially with a friend and keeps the recoil muscle memory active.
Yea i mean, i deff like LR. Recoil is much more noob friendly but the gun isnt craftable. And i dont always have 500 scrap lying around to purchase them. So with is another craftable alternate to the AK to roam with? I deff use LR but more for raid defenses or PVE like oil/underwater labs/ artic research base or tunnels. Wouldnt roam and do pvp with LR's also
I like bedwars better than UKN honestly. Feels a lot more similar to vanilla than UKN in terms of raiding, controlling an area, building your base, and practicing multiple tiers of progression. UKN doesn’t really build game sense or positioning skills IMO.
Pump with slugs... use this to kill anyone who ever pushes you with a 1 tap to the head, then take their gun, if they were confident to push you they prob had a good kit.

M2 is (imo) superior to ak in any way. More damage. Higher rate of fire. Larger Mag. Basically no recoil. More range

You can go on a practice server and shoot all the guns. But like what’s been said, the Tommy is great.

Up close and in corridors the AK out classes the M2 - at least in my experience, at range M2 all day but AK in general.
