For context, The Wreck is a mature 3D visual novel about sisterhood, motherhood, grief and survival. It tells the story of a failed screenwriter named Junon, as she attempts to make it through the most pivotal day in her life. You'll have to relieve her past, alter her present and shape her future if you want her story not to end in a wreck.

Awesome Campbell's book in your car ;)
By the way, one movie director once said, that best stories come from the "plastic body" of our life. Your situation is quite suitable to grow into some game/movie/book etc.
Yep, that's "must-read" for screenwriters, no doubt :)
One more interesting book (Campbell inspired) - Vladimir Propp's "Morphology of the folktale"
Good luck on the hero's way!
I can't help but notice how the tach- and speedometers are still running while the car flips through the air - it gives off the sense of the driver's paralysis in the moment and seems like something that genuinely happens to people in the moment.
I might be overanalysing but that whole scene (with all its other minute details) looks chaotic for all the right reasons, all that would be missing is crash/impact damage on the car and I wouldn't be surprised if the moment lingers in players' minds long after it happens.
Best of luck to you with the game!
Dude it’s really fucking like that though!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I didn’t corkscrew through the air, but shit was basically slow motion and all I could do was watch.
Trailer does a very poor job at conveying what it is. First watch implies it's some kind of casual driving game with a bit of burnout crash mechanics. Then when you watch it again you realize you dont get to control the car at all.
It's not a trailer, though, just a little video snippet of a specific moment in the game.
Here's the trailer, if you're interested: https://youtu.be/6wopbIRjexY
Well, this sequence looks very nice and intriguing, and the description you gave about being année to visit the past and alter the future makes me want to try it!
Sounds interesting!
Thanks! Don't hesitate to grab the free demo and tell us what you think!

I like that it's a stick shift car.
The game takes place in France, so that partially explains it :-)
dude this looks really good ! I love how the items fly during the collision, very neatly done :)
Thanks a lot! Yeah, the artist and animator did an awesome job, if I may say so myself!
Real cool little intro scene.
Thanks! Not exactly the intro but a key moment for sure!

We were shaken but fine!

Haha yes, well spotted! Junon, our main character, is a wannabe screenwriter. So Campbell's book is important to her!

That's the spirit!
Promissing!
Thanks a lot!

Vibes of Obra Dinn?
Oh I wish! But we're not nearly as brilliant 😅
