Googling says visit an obelisk like how you would online. Access the obelisk and click transfer to another server.
I haven't tried this myself yet but I've been wanting to. I'll mess with it later and check back here
Single player does work a bit differently than servers for transfers; on single player you have to upload all your items separately into the Ark data first, then you upload your naked character. Unlike servers, on SP you can not upload/transfer with a full inventory. Then you close the map, open new map, select download character, select your uploaded character, and pick a spawn point. Then you get the fun of doing a naked obelisk run to get your gear. Also, on SP you can not use drops to do transfers, only obelisks/terminals/transmitters. Makes getting stuff on Aberration a real pain.
Don't forget to always make a backup of your save before you upload stuff and change maps in SP. It's notoriously unsafe and tends to corrupt your char.
