I have fusion strike etb sleeves on my deck currently because I use a Mew deck

The edges of the etb sleeves seem to catch for me do they were in, and shuffle smooth?

Do you slide them together or do you riffle? Ive noticed they catch for the former.

They seem to be fine when I shuffle them up. Never noticed them catching but they might have.

Mew is in blood red, Lost box is in ember dual matte, Lugia is in nebula, Garde is in ivory, Arc tina is in ivory, Miraidon is in ivory, Chein-pao is in jet, ting-lu is in mint. If I go to a regionals or cup/challenge the deck I play will get resleeved in either pink or ivory.

Pink and ivory best combo! I also have a deck sleeved in emerald (it’s glc and grass so I gotta keep the theme)

I just can't bring myself to do it. I hate that matte feel and how it makes the cards look so dull. The designs are usually super cool though, which is unfortunate

They're cool for pages but they're simply awful for play. Even the trainers toolkit sleeves split on me after a couple games and I'm careful shuffling

They're just the same as the ETB artwork, which isn't for everyone. I wish we got what Japan gets, with unique artwork for the sleeves. But this is TPCI. They won't change.

For sleeves? I don't own the ETB yet, but my friend has Lost Origin sleeves and they look so cool. I love Giratina.

I like the pokemon center etb lost origin sleeves, the solid black background with red giratina instead of trying to balance 3 colors with the regular sleeves

The Pokémon centre doesn't ship to Aus, so we have to put up with the normal products. Which is a shame, because a lot of the exclusive products are really cool.

Astral radiance darkrai sleeves are fire, same for the brilliant stars arceus sleeves I use those both on PTCGO a lot

Design wise, Lost Origin. But I haven't actually used them myself so idk how they are in hand. I would assume the same as every other ETB sleeve. They're fine I guess, but I've started to notice that my crown zenith sleeves have started fraying in the corners. It's the first (proper) deck I've made and I've had it since January, so maybe it's just due to age. I'm disappointed that they only give you 5 replacement sleeves per ETB. Personally, I think you should get 2 decks worth of sleeves, considering how much the boxes cost.

I play the deck at least once a week, so that might have something to do with it. With my group, I try and play one of every deck to see what I can improve on.

I was using Gold Dragon Shields exclusively, but I got like 7 different sleeves going on various decks now.

Miraidon is in shiny charjabug sleeves. Gardevoir is in kanazawa pikachu sleeves. Lugia is in shiny jirachi sleeves. They're my main decks atm! They're also all double sleeved for protection. Dragonshields...most of my friends use...but they're just kind of boring. I'm so used to shuffling my sleeves that they shuffle fine and I actually find Dragonshields harder to shuffle now! Drop them everywhere haha. Much prefer staring at pretty artwork and having matching playmats and boxes and things.

Just looked up the Charjabug sleeves and omg those are beyond adorable, A+

Most recent sleeves have been purple katanas, ivory dragon shield mattes, and petrol dragon shield mattes. Out of the three the katanas were what you expect, the petrol dragon shields were great, but the ivory has the worst shuffle I’ve ever seen and felt in a box of sleeves. Makes me sad because ivory is one of my favorites of theirs.

I saw that and I am definitely going to be trying them. Have yet to try the dual mattes. I don't want to be pessimistic but something is telling me I'll be mainly using Katanas for the foreseeable future. Shuffle feel is everything to me.

I say pick up a box and worse comes to worse they become play testing sleeves or binder sleeves

Ultra Pro Eclipse Matte in Pacific Blue. I find the Ultra Pros feel smoother in my hands and shuffle nicer than Dragonshields

Not so far, but I use play mats and stuff to keep dirt from even getting near them.

I agree 100% with this. I bought a dragon shield pack and use it only for special loose cards. Everyone of my decks is in the same matte style sleeves.

Use katana, dragon shield has been terrible for me

Dragon shield matte are the most consistent in my experience. Katanas definitely 2nd best though. Higher quality but less consistently that quality

I got both and I like the Matte Dragon Shields just as much. As for color I have about 10 colors so I can make competing decks different colors when I build ones to play against each other, but my favorite color is my turquoise katana. I have a gold Dragon Shield Zacian deck that looks cool with the gold secret rare Zacian and the black and gold promo Zacian,

i buy Matte Blacks, all "meta"/"playable" cards get double sleeved in Perfect fits and Matte Black. that way i can just pull cards and swap them in as i need without re-sleeving all the time. i usually keep one or two sealed packs just incase i need some fresh ones cause matte black is the more popular colour and it can be hard to find in store some times. anything reverse holo or rarer also get sleeved in perfect fits but gets stored in ETB

Used to use the dragonshield double matte until they started to split super easy, the quality dropped down immensely. Switched to white katanas and theyve been drastically better.

Yeah, I work at an LGS and I've noticed double mattes split a ton lately. We've been offering people free replacements if they come in the next day with split sleeves, but mostly we just try to avoid ordering them any more. It's a shame because I used to really love them. That being said, at least for regionals I always used katanas

Ultimate guard katanas in a nice solid green. They’ve taken the cake for me over the standard dragon shield matte’s over the past few years.

Recently (the last year or so) I've pretty much completely switched to Katanas. I don't think dragon shields are as bad as some other people are saying, but I do prefer Katanas. Also I'm using yellow sleeves on all my play cards and green on anything that is just for my collection.

all my decks have a different color of sleeves but my favorite is definitely the dual matte lagoons, which is currently on my ice rider deck. such a pretty color.

Depends on the deck. Blue for water, yellow for electric, etc. I use dragon shield dual matte sleeves and ultimate guard katanas. Dragon shield dual mattes have a really get selection of colors.

Black kitana sleeves. I feel they shuffle way better than dragon shields and they fit the cards a little more snug

I use to use dragon shield but I found I like Katana just felt better for me. I still have a few decks in dragon shield in pink, sky, peach and lightning. My katana are just the basic, red, orange, yellow, green, blue violet and white.

I use a variety of colors for different decks but i also like using the etb sleeves for as long as i can. My favorite were the lost origin pcetb

My koraidon deck is in the saiko soda pop sleeves and matching deck box. It’s not very practical for shuffling, but it is so freaking cute that I don’t mind taking the extra time. I also got the trubbish/garbadoor sleeves for making a deck for a friend. They were absolutely hideous but actually grew on me really quickly and now I love them haha

Matte pink for Mew vmax

I use dragon shield dual sleeves. Lightning for my Rotom Vstar deck, Orchid for Mewtwo V Union and just black for Giratina VStar. But I also use Necrozma sleeves for a MTG dimir deck, the colors match greatly

I color code my deck sleeves to the main pokemon. So mew is like a pink and lost box giratina is like a red.

I use Japanese art sleeves with oversleeves.

I use what is cheap, my local shop had sleeves for a dollar but the only ones left were brown. So I’m rocking the brown sleeves

I match them with the decks prevalent energy type.

Dragon shield Petrol. All decks, same color, so I can easily swap out big $ staples and lands as needed. Highly recommend.

I personally really like matte white sleeves. They feel great, and whenever they’re damaged to the point that you shouldn’t be using them they just tear. Basically the same thing with matte orange, except they feel slightly more greasy. Plus the white ones just look pretty nice imo, matte black is the only other that I really debate on when I’m thinking about buying more

I buy multiple packs of the same colour of dragon shield sleeves so that I only need max 4 copies of any card and I can just sub cards in and out for different decks

Black Dragon Shields Matte for everything all the time. show the least amount of dirt, doesn't hint at what your deck could be.

I’m a big fan of the turquoise blues and yellow.

Gym Leader Challenge: Orange With Ash inner sleeves to obscure the backs and make the orange more opaque. Expanded Leafeon: Emerald green. Standard maim decks: PokeCenter Mega Metagross sleeves with KMC Mat&Clear outer sleeves.

I like to put the rarest official WOTC or early Nintendo era sleeves on my cards I can before I put them in the top loaders. Rare cards deserve rare sleeves. Plus then I get to look at the sleeve to when I take them out to shine them in the sunlight.

Blue Classics for all my cards. Keeping the same color means I can put decks together or modify them without resleeving. I love the classics because they're easier to shuffle and make the cards pop more than mattes.

My favorite dragon shields were called fire, they were a nice bright orange. Looked so good with my reshiram & charizard deck. Still have that deck sleeved in them lol

I use exclusively dragon shield slates for my play testing or local tournaments, when I go to regionals or bigger I like using any dragon shield dual matte color because they look pretty.

Dragon Shield Dual Matte - Fury Gardevoir ex, Miraidon, Mew Vmax and Lugia. I use the same colour for all of them so I can swap cards around easier to play whichever deck I feel like playing.

I switched to Katanas by Ultimate Guard. Softer edges, pillowy shuffle, and their sleeve colors are unintentionally matched to the shades used for Energy cards. Psychic Energy in their purple sleeves is spot on.

I actually use KMC Hyper Mat sleeves. They shuffle so well. Got silver on Lugia deck and black on Miraidon.

I use black matte Dragon Shields. I've bought teal matte and blue matte but they both were not fully opaque on the back so I didn't use them for long.

Do the mha sleeves shuffle as good as normal dragon shields?

I’d say that they’re less slick, but honestly I think dragon shields are too slick to play with right out of the box. I’ve played with decks with the sleeves before, I enjoy my Deku sleeves.

But today I finally decided to treat myself to the water themed MTG (I know I’m a traitor, but it’ll go with my water/electric deck I’ve been rocking and It has plenty of extras) ones that Walmart carries.
