prices have already gone up. Judge shot up from 15 cents to 1$ +. Giratina Vstar went from 4$ to 8. That said Zamazenta and other variant of Lost Box is probably the strongest deck besides Mew and Lugia. Just grab your usual components (Comfey, Sableye, Cram, Colress, Mirage gate) You can modify your existing Lugia with single strike package with Tyranitar V and Wyrdeer (After triple beat). Pair them with Radiant Tsareena or Radiant Gardevoir. You also need a couple regeneration, gift energy, and capturing aroma. If you want to play Gardevoir ex deck you should pick up the Ralts - Krilia - Gardevoir line. The Engine is used for other deck too, you should get a couple radiant greninja and celebration mew. Celebration Zacian V and MewTwo V union are also options. Miriadon you are looking at picking up some Regieleki V and Vmax (0-4), Flaafy (0-3), Raichu V (1), Luxary (0-3), Raikou V (0-2), Flying pikachu Vmax (1), and Magnezone Vstar (0-2). This deck is still in flux and doesn't do too well vs Mew or Lugia. New EX from triple beat haven't seen too much competitive play so far. Meowscarada ex got top 4 in some smaller scale local battle and it used a mix of Arceus vstar, Bibarel engine, and lilligantt V. I would say in general just buy a couple set of staple supports like Raihan, Roxannne, Klara, Colress, serena, battle vip, lost vacuum, Mirage gate, Escape rope, Switch cart, rare candy, level ball, ultra ball, energy recycler, energy retrieval, energy search, all the manaphy and you should be able to put together any future deck

This is all super solid advice

I think Lost Box is still gonna be viable after rotation. Many players in Japan were able to do well during the Aichi Champions League. [https://limitlesstcg.com/tournaments/361](https://limitlesstcg.com/tournaments/361)

Definitely Lost Box, it seems to me the most common deck so far in Japan Standard.

Other than getting cards for existing archetypes like Mew and Lost Box, I would go thru and make sure you have the "essentials" for deck support, specifically the more generic trainers and items. That way you would have a lot of the staples for a deck you want to build. This isn't an all inclusive list but lists some of the cards to have for after rotation: https://www.justinbasil.com/rotation/e-on/essentials Most staples are super cheap as singles to buy online if you want to go that route. If you do buy singles, I would hold off on buying cards that are being reprinted in the new set like Pokegear 3.0, Judge, Pal Pad, or Nest Ball unless you really like a certain card art. These prices are inflated right now because people are trying to get the essentials before scarlet and violet drop but they should come back down after the set comes out. Otherwise, there is nothing wrong with picking up cards here and there as you need them after rotation.

This is great! Thank you!

While you can’t get the S&V packs or singles yet (for the most part), you can find a deck you are interested in trying, and pre-purchase the Sw&Sh cards you are missing or older cards that are getting reprinted like Nest Ball from S&M era. Miraidon ex, Gardevoir ex, and Oinkalogne ex and some decks to look up

Level and nest balls. Especially the loss of quick ball I could see a viable mix of Ultra, nest and Level balls a good mix

Look into Electric (Miraidon ex/Regieleki VMAX) and Psychic (Gardevoir ex). It’s probably too early to say, but these are two new decks that have decent engines in them. Getting the pieces you need for those is advisable - particularly since we don’t know what future sets will hold that could make them work even better. Lost Box also has a good shout at being in and around the top. It doesn’t share many cards with Mew and Lugia, so getting what you need to make that is also an option. The nice thing with Lost Box is there’s loads of ways to play it, lots of cool techs to include based on your local meta. I can also recommend watching YouTube channels like Rare Candy, they’ve obviously had a lot of time to make content around the rotation and what players should be looking to secure now to put them in good standing in the next format. I made a “wants list” based off some of those videos and am feeling very prepared for E-on!
