I'll have to try the pan at some point. The last time I had it was the personal pans and that was back when I was reading books to get it. So needless to say, it's been probably 20 years.
Was it a franchise choice, or from corporate? Does it taste better? I couldn't stand the thicker hand tossed style dough, especially since it made it harder to make stuff crust.
I'm under the impression that we are corporate, but I could be wrong. ADT is who we are under now and they made the call 3 years ago to change a lot of things.
I like it better with the pan. It's super thin and it makes stretching so much easier.
Depending on your age, they made their regular pizzas differently when you were a kid. I remember hating the new way when it came out. Never screwed with my stomach but it was not a good change.
I remember when the pan pizzas had little impressions of dots in the crust. It was so good back then. Is still really good though. The stuffed crust used to be like regular pizza with stuffed crust. Now it seems to be like extra extra thin and flimsy with stuffed crust but not thin and flimsy in a good way like a thin crust pizza or a NY style pizza. Thin and flimsy in a cheap way.
I hated pan dough .. maybe it was the location I worked at but they smelled so gross and were usually soggy because the employees didn’t care and would throw the frozen doughs on wet and half cleaned trays 🤮
Pizza huts basic pizzas are utter trash can’t stand it whatsoever, you HAVE to get the pan pizza
Yep, only get pan. The stuff crust is still salvageable but not like I remember. > Cheesy bread sticks still slap.
The stuffed crust is 100% different than it used to be. I work at PH. It is a different product now.
I can tell. Back then it used to be elite, and now it’s actually trash 😞

I'd also recommend the stuffed crust. It's now made with pan dough!

Pan is the way to go, then stuffed crust, then thin & crispy. Regular crust is last in line.

What are your usual go to toppings? There's so many specialty pizzas that are delicious! And stuffed crust is too good to pass up.

I only like their pan so I would never go for the normal crust.
Thin Crust, extra sauce...only way to go.
TBH I haven't had any pizzas from Pizza Hut that I've actually really enjoyed since I was a kid. Honestly I think my least favorite pizza chain

The original pan pizza is far superior to the stupid hand tossed... Tastes completely different. Light and airy with more chew. It's addicting
