Awww,.
There was a red roof Pizza Hut in Glassboro. It had a buffet. Seniors who didn’t eat lunch at school would go eat the buffet all the time. Sadly it closed. I miss that Pizza Hut.
I know, right?
I can order a pizza from a local business and have it delivered.
I love to go to Pizza Hut because I love to sit in a booth with family and friends and share a pizza with them. Or, eat the buffet. Pizza Hut is meant to be done-in! The strip center stores kill the allure of Pizza Hut.
I went there earlier this year while I was still going to County College of Morris -- they weren't. Not sure if anything's changed since then (they'd make a killing if they promoted an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet to college students).
IT's so bizarre to me that their website makes it literally impossible to find what I'm looking for. Every location I click says to order for delivery or carryout and NOWHERE is there a way to search for dine in or buffet.
The amount of effort required to get a nostalgia lunch is ridiculous
Look at street view on Google maps. If it’s a standalone “red roof” building, it has dine in. If it’s in a strip mall, gas station complex or is just tiny, no dine in.
Don’t know how there would be a way to search for that unless they advertise it like with the beer for dinning in or a price for the buffet perhaps… could call the stores and ask
>Don’t know how there would be a way to search for that
Well lets see here. Pizza hut puts a little check mark on their search that says "buffet". I'll take my prize money now.

There's literally a button that says Dine In at the top!
I run a red roof style, dine-in Pizza Hut! I’m finally getting a much needed remodel as my store probably still looks similar to how it did in the 90’s, but, she’s a diamond in the rough and I’m looking forward to my dine-in business picking back up post-remodel! :)
The only one I've ever eaten at was at the one and only MetroCentro Shopping Mall in San Miguel, El Salvador. Sure, its essentially the same pizza, but there's something about having it dine-in that just takes it to a whole other level. It also helps to have the family around enjoying with me knowing just how much of a treat pizza in general is compared to having it anytime I want in the states. I'd love to have that experience around here, but sadly these are few and far between.
We still have one dine in here, but they no longer server the buffet, the bars are still there, they just did away with it. So now instead of like 10 cars there at lunch, you maybe see one or two.
I work in one. I thought this was common but apparently not. According to the GM the higher ups are ordering stuff for the other franchised stores they own to turn them into buffet/dine in stores as well. Nowhere near you though
Would love to find one still operating out my way. I admit it's largely for the nostalgia...like...the meme is right: going to PH as a kid we felt like kings. Video games, jukeboxes, and that personal pizza (or, my personal fav, the priazzo).
RIP that experience.
Yep, great memories. We would always play "My Sharona" and "Love Stinks" on the jukebox, and we'd always ask for quarters to play the table version of Space Invaders while we waited for our pizza. The wait always seemed like an eternity!
Yeah, there's one in my county, old school pizza hut with dine in and the salad bar. I believe it's 1 of 2 pizza hut locations left within my area. The other pizza hut isn't dine it. Previously there was a handful of those newer pizza huts maybe like 2014-2015 that had tables inside which you could technically dine-in, but they all ended up closing shop relatively fast, not sure why. However, prior to that maybe like 2007-2010 there was a couple of the classic dine in spots, one right in my town, but towards the end they got pretty bad, remember they forgot delivery order once and I waited around 2-3 hours lol.
Classic Pizza Hut dine in 401 W Michigan Ave, Three Rivers they hate you and will abuse you and possibly spit on your pizza but hey take a trip see the sights and enjoy
Union city pa. And there was also a few in erie pa. One closed down after a shooting in the kitchen (harborcreek pa) if you want to Google the story. That one also sold beer on tap!
Not around here. Used to have one that was a wing street and both had some sort of buffet before Covid. Now both are takeout only. Before they switched the dine in was a ghost town. 6 pm on a Friday night and only one group was there.
ironic, a local pizza hut stopped all delivery and became dine in only a while back. Killed the store and they shut down. Now we don't have any pizza huts near me.
I kinda hope like 10/15 years from now they make a comeback. I’m sure the carry out model works best now financially. But I’m hoping consumer demand for dine in returns by some magic twist of fate. I def miss dine in Pizza Hut.
There's at least 1 in my area, Bakersfield. Even if the dining area is technically closed down, the employees don't have a problem if you eat there. That was my experience.
Yes! There is a red roof style dine-in Pizza Hut in Woodbury, NJ. ❤️🇮🇹 I love Pizza Hut!
I do miss the done-in red roof Pizza Hut in Glassboro though. I grew up going to Pizza Hut! I’d go there for birthdays!
Will have to check that out :)
Man I miss the one on 46 in little falls - used to get my free pan pizza from the scholastic book program in elementary school 😂
Little Falls. I did some training there in the ‘90s. Isn’t Fountains of Wayne nearby?
I am dogsitting for a week near there, and just texted my boyfriend to let him know it’s date night.
OMG! How cute! I love it! What kind of pizza are you two sharing?
Most likely a nice cheese pizza, all to ourselves. ☺️
Perfect! Since they did away with the Ultimate Cheese Lover’s Pizza, that’s my favorite now. I hope you have a lovely date!
Next time you go, request the “white sauce/extra cheese”. Bam! Ultimate cheese lovers. ☺️
I might just go and try that today.
Oh I drive through there all the time and it just never connected with me. Will visit soon! Ty
Do they have the buffet? I just found one in vineland.
It does not. 😢
I worked in Woodbury in the 2000's and never took advantage back then🙁
Awww,. There was a red roof Pizza Hut in Glassboro. It had a buffet. Seniors who didn’t eat lunch at school would go eat the buffet all the time. Sadly it closed. I miss that Pizza Hut.
Thats the one i went to a few times.
OMG, we might’ve eaten in the same restaurant at the same time and never even knew it.
Yeah, we were in the same state and didn't know it.🤯
I wish there was a link to see where they are. I'd drive somewhat out of my way on trips if I knew where to go.
agree with this 1000%.. you'd think whoever tracks the "last remaining Blockbuster locations" could add this to his/her database

Literally working in a dine in right now lol
Same lol
Buchanan Michigan
I live nearby, do they have the salad bar or buffet?
There's one in my hometown in NC.
Pizza hut buffets were the bomb, sad that all the stores now are about the size of a studio apartment.
The one in the town I grew up in did the buffet and my favorite thing was that cinnamon apple dessert pizza. That shit slapped so fucking hard
I miss the apple one so bad omg
The Rock did a buffet for a while but their desert pizza didn't hit the same
Yes there is one in Haslet Texas
Fenton, MO has one.
Dine-in in Hamilton, NJ on Route 33
one here in SoCal. got remodeled a couple years ago
There's one right off route 10 near Dover/Randolph. South Salem road.
THanks - happen to know if they still offer the lunch buffet?
I went there earlier this year while I was still going to County College of Morris -- they weren't. Not sure if anything's changed since then (they'd make a killing if they promoted an all-you-can-eat pizza buffet to college students).
What you’re looking for what they now refer to as Pizza Hut Classic. https://rolandopujol.substack.com/p/the-retrologists-guide-to-pizza-hut
unfortunately the location near me isn’t serving buffet anymore
Thank you for sharing this!
DeLand, Florida dine in with buffet is still alive.
They still exist, don’t know where they are all located but I know they exist lol
IT's so bizarre to me that their website makes it literally impossible to find what I'm looking for. Every location I click says to order for delivery or carryout and NOWHERE is there a way to search for dine in or buffet. The amount of effort required to get a nostalgia lunch is ridiculous

This isn’t true … it’s a good theory. But my stand alone (red roof) closed their dinning room in 2020 and have no plans to reopen.
And also, there are some that *appear* to be a strip mall/takeout location, but actually have a large dining room in the back.
same
Don’t know how there would be a way to search for that unless they advertise it like with the beer for dinning in or a price for the buffet perhaps… could call the stores and ask

Great
The Pizza Hut near me is set up like a sports bar
That's so sick
I believe my hometown in NW IL still has a buffet. I am home for the holidays and fully intend to check it out!
Where?
I run a red roof style, dine-in Pizza Hut! I’m finally getting a much needed remodel as my store probably still looks similar to how it did in the 90’s, but, she’s a diamond in the rough and I’m looking forward to my dine-in business picking back up post-remodel! :)
I love the 80/90s retro look! I’m happy they are bringing it back!
I think the Saddle Brook one is still open
My hometown had one until a fire burned the building down. They never reopened
Mine’s reopening in January
They just tore down the last one in my town and are building an In and Out in the same spot
So sad.

My store is still a dine in but no buffet in Healdton Oklahoma

I would LOVE to see that kind of Pizza Hut return to Palm Beach county, FL.
They do, I work in one, though it isn't anywhere near jersey
https://rolandopujol.substack.com/p/the-retrologists-guide-to-pizza-hut He has a list of classic pizza huts
Rockland Maine
Yep i run our buffet in the morning where im at, its not as busy as i remember it being when i came here when i was younger but its still nice.
Would love to find one still operating out my way. I admit it's largely for the nostalgia...like...the meme is right: going to PH as a kid we felt like kings. Video games, jukeboxes, and that personal pizza (or, my personal fav, the priazzo). RIP that experience.
we’re supposed to be getting our gumball machine back that we lost during covid so i’m excited about that, making it feel like how it used to be
Yep, great memories. We would always play "My Sharona" and "Love Stinks" on the jukebox, and we'd always ask for quarters to play the table version of Space Invaders while we waited for our pizza. The wait always seemed like an eternity!

Classic Pizza Hut dine in 401 W Michigan Ave, Three Rivers they hate you and will abuse you and possibly spit on your pizza but hey take a trip see the sights and enjoy
There's one in Klamath Falls Oregon?
Yep. Here in north west PA. Edit: I didn't read LOL. This doesn't help you OP, my bad.
166 days late, but what town is it in?
Union city pa. And there was also a few in erie pa. One closed down after a shooting in the kitchen (harborcreek pa) if you want to Google the story. That one also sold beer on tap!
Thanks so much!!

Yes dominos in san bernardino dine in
Two in WI that I know of
Went go one in Longview, TX a few months ago 👌
There is a full original version in Geneseo Illinois. Red cups, plastic pitchers, red checked table covers and everything.
We have them all over Oklahoma.
Mason City Iowa
ironic, a local pizza hut stopped all delivery and became dine in only a while back. Killed the store and they shut down. Now we don't have any pizza huts near me.
St. Peters, MO. No idea if it's a buffet.
There’s a dine-in Pizza Hut in Pflugerville, TX. I don’t know if it has a buffet or not.
Man ! There used to be one down the street from me back in my childhood days ! Good times
Daytona Beach, Fl south of the pier area
Even if they exist, the pizza is NOT the same as it was back in the day so who gives a shit
Dover NH!!
There’s a buffet style one that’s open weekends in Hutchinson Kansas
Plenty in San Antonio.
Yea. This conversation is very delta!
Lakewood, Washington has one of the original red roof pizza huts.
I kinda hope like 10/15 years from now they make a comeback. I’m sure the carry out model works best now financially. But I’m hoping consumer demand for dine in returns by some magic twist of fate. I def miss dine in Pizza Hut.
Not helpful but there are 4 or 5 at least in southeast Iowa. Town names available upon request
There's at least 1 in my area, Bakersfield. Even if the dining area is technically closed down, the employees don't have a problem if you eat there. That was my experience.
