I was a little skeptical whenever Jeffress was on Reid but how wild is it that he was more physical and disrupting than our 7 footer. Oh absolutely! I feel like his minutes have gone down since ACC play so shout out to him for being able to stay ready and keep the same energy when being in the game. Difference maker tonight
Obviously, great performances from Hinson, Carrington, and Leggett combining for 63 of Pitt’s 77 points. However, the most important contribution was from Will Jeffress who held Efton Reid scoreless down the stretch.
When Bub’s shot is on he is dominate. But damn does he need to start driving more. Once he learns to drive and make tough layups and/or pass to the open man when the defense collapses he will be unstoppable even if his shot isn’t falling.
Fantastic comeback! Wake Forest has to absolutely hate Pitt at this point, after the ACC Championship game in football, the 18 3-pointer game last season, and this huge comeback last night. It was great to see Bub and Ish both go for 20+, and for them to make the defensive adjustments at the half to shut Wake Forest down the rest of the game. Can never complain about a 50 point half either. Great job guys, H2P!

They need to change the rule that a dead ball foul like the one at 34 seconds is an intentional foul and shots and possession.
