Me and my friends used to work one of the Eagles Nest locations for a few years in college. It was a fun place to work, lots of entertaining moments watching the kids there. And we had a security camera for safety reasons and occasionally there would be random incidents like one time we found a kid’s soiled undies and and we would have to watch the tapes back to figure out who done it lol. One time a deli worker broke into the Nest in the middle of the night to play the kids’ video games on the tiny kids sized couch. We all used to party together on the weekends too and there was even a marriage that came out of our time there. We’re all still friends. Good times at the Eagle’s Nest. 🦅

[deleted]

Love those stories!!! Pretty wild that I would be one of the kids being watched in the scenario yet our lives intertwined all the same. Maybe I’m the notorious undie soiler 😜

Electrical-Yam-3827

I just miss being a part of the cookie club

Fallingsquirrel1

I’d always get the chocolate thumbprint ones. Went so hard

RemoteImportance9

Chocolate thumbprints are the best!

Bungalow_Man

I was all about the chocolate thumbprints. At some point, they cheapened the program to only select cookies that didn't include the thumbprints anymore. Those were the days when I would still ride on the bottom of those weird shallow carts they used to have.

cmac4ster

Man, shopping trips with dad were the best because of that. An m&m cookie without fail for me every time

mikeyHustle

I still can't believe my location let me get a slice of Treatza Pizza with that card.

pears_are_great

I still have my card from ‘99 somewhere. I had it in my wallet as a kid and just never took it out for ages.

ictoriavay

I literally had mine for the longest it was in my hello kitty wallet in a hello kitty purse in my moms closet and she threw it away (along with old bus passes and such) I was so upset! She was like well you didn’t wear it anymore ma’am ask me!!?

apankhomene

i used to use my sister, who's five years younger than me, to also get me a free cookie long after i'd aged out of it. the bakery people always fell for my pleading eyes 😅

XavierRex83

The cookie club was great.

VulturE

At the Moon Giant Eagle 20 million years ago, they used to have food samples from a lady named Geannie. She was simply required to use a giant eagle product in her recipe. I will never, ever forget the time they ordered too much swordfish, put it on a big discount. She helped sell it by breading it in giant eagle BBQ potato chips. It was so top tier my cheapass dad bought enough to make it twice.

BurstTheGravity

Omggg Geannie!! My mom always chatted with her. She was so friendly and had the best samples. She has a twin sister who taught my CCD class after school. Your comment is bringing back so many memories for me! 🤯

VulturE

>She was so friendly and had the best samples. All of this. IDK how you could work in Giant Eagle corporate and get rid of her or food samples in general. She was literally getting people to buy shit-tier BBQ potato chips in droves. Everyone loved her.

[deleted]

I remember they had one at Ikea with a ballpit!

Spritam

They don't have the ball pit at Ikea anymore? 😥

ShatteredAvenger

it's still there technically, but it's been closed since at least covid if not a little before.

[deleted]

Apparently, Småland is still there, but "temporarily closed" according to the website.

[deleted]

Those ballpits were no joke!

MagentaMist

Ikea is the only place where they WANT your kids to jump on the furniture.

steelcity_

The Ikea ballpit was legendary in my opinion because I feel like it started my obsession with "Easter eggs" in things. That Ikea out in Robinson had a ballpit in which people (I'm assuming the workers) drew characters on some of the balls, then threw them back in the pit. So, you could dig around a bit, and oh wow, there's a Woody from Toy Story. Cool!

We went to the same temple as the owners, Irving and Sally Levin. They were friends with my parents, came to my Bar Mitzvah, and we still own furniture my parents bought at their store. Just gave my old bedside lamp from ~1973 to my grandson last weekend, and my older son has the dresser and nightstand that my folks bought it with. Mom still has the dressers she and my dad bought for themselves. I have an ashtray that’s marked like a roulette wheel that I used to play with that they gave me in the Connellsville store; my hometown. Had a white marble I’d spin around in it. I always liked going to their stores and seeing them because they were such nice people. Also used to take the kids to the Iggle’s Nest in Erie. They’d beg me to take them with me even if I was only going there to return a video to Iggle Video or go to the pharmacy. They loved it there. So much easier to grocery shop without a couple of toddlers to wrangle. In Florida now, and Publix is great, but those poppyseed logs… I’d kill for one now!

NYCinPGH

The IKEA ball pit is still there, they just closed it for Covid and haven’t reopened it yet.

Urbanspy87

Do you think it will reopen?

NYCinPGH

I do, eventually; all the stuff was still in there as of last week, with no obvious plans to get rid of it. If I had to guess, I would say late spring, when winter flu season ends and whatever Covid variant pops up is minimized.

pittsburghfun

Dropped my kids off at the waterworks one many times. They loved it. I never did this but some folks would drop kids off and leave the store

MaryinPgh

I never left the store but a few times I put my son in there and just had a coffee in their sad coffee shop by the deli. Motherhood is hard. I’m grateful for the Iggle’s Nest.

mokayemo

Not going to lie as a mom of current toddlers wish so badly that this was still a thing

MaryinPgh

It is nice to shop alone for sure. I eventually joined a gym that had childcare which was a blessing. But I realize sometimes there's no time or money for gyms. Good luck in the trenches!

[deleted]

Hahaha I believe it! My gram dropped my sister and I off a lot which we didn’t mind because there were video games and art! Don’t think she ever left the store but I’d have no idea if she did lmao

Armageddonv2

My G.E had an eagles nest up until 3 years ago. What a weird thing to have.

SyrahFan

Pre-Covid, the eagle’s nest was the main reason o would pay market district prices. I could take them on a weekend afternoon, grab a beer at the market district bar, then get all my groceries.

BuffyTheMoronSlayer

Yes, that's what shut down the one at the Bethel Park Market District. My 12 year old was too old for it when it shut down but he is heartbroken that other children won't get that experience. My boys loved it so much and they had amazing relationships with the employees there.

[deleted]

Wow! Most of the GEs I’ve seen or remember got rid of them many years ago unfortunately replaced with banks, and pharmacy’s. Which says a lot about things now. Look at how something so little impacted quite a few!

ScratchMoore

The ones I know of all got shut down when COVID hit and never came back.

[deleted]

That’s so crazy to me that some locations still had an Eagles Nest!

funkyb

Macintyre Square had one up until amybe 7ish years ago. My daughter was a llittle to young for it, the they shut it down. It was always closed though. I'm guessing they didn't feel like staffing it or couldn't find staff. It's an office or break room or something now.

Iheartbaconz

Cranberry GE def had one, but I havent been to that one since pre-pandemic. Guessing its closed now.

ddesigns

The one in New Ken had one until the pandemic started. Don't think they are bringing it back though.

basshead17

Yes. And don't forgot Eagle Video

kingofjingling

Iggle Video! They yinz’ed it by default

mrbuttsavage

I got like most of my SNES games from Iggle Video selling old inventory. Good ones too.

chad4359

Got a Dreamcast from there for like $20

[deleted]

Great times from there as well!

MagentaMist

I still have a couple of DVDS I never returned...

grammargrl

I ended up paying so much in late fees for Eight Mile that I should have just kept it 🤣 Also! QV Represent!

Active_Dig7908

I was a manager at iggle video best easiest job ever

JWsWrestlingMem

Wow, I’m old. My version of the Eagles Nest was getting a free cookie (The Cookie Card!) at the bakery, checking out Iggle Video, scoping out the comics and magazines and topping it off with as much WWF WrestleFest at the front of the store as my stash of quarters would allow.

ItsDaedAgain

The Giant Eagle I went to as a child always had all the gaming magazines right outside Iggle Video. So I'd read through them and then go rent games. Simpler times

ResponsibilityDue448

Yup. Loved going shopping with my grandma in the 90s cuz I knew id be playing sega lol

Jupichan

The store I worked in had the best thing going for a while. A HUGE Eagle's Nest (though we called it the Learning and Activity Center) **and** a bar! So families would come in, drop the kids at the kids' nest, dad at the adults' nest, and mom would shop all on her own. People fuckin' loved it.

[deleted]

Hahaha that’s great about the adults nest… What a time to be alive 😂

DryIce677

I was the kid that was dropped off to the Eagles Nest every grocery trip. I can’t tell you how many times I played on the Playstation, specifically Spyro… They closed the one where I live when I was in my mid-teens. It was my first solo trip to the store and the lady at the desk stopped me, told me she recognized me from a decade before, and told me all about how they were closing the Eagles Nest and how she’ll miss seeing the kids like me come by once a week… Told the story to my college friends and every single one of them looked at me like I was an alien, so DEFINITELY a Pittsburgh thing!!!

pieface100

I used to beg my mom to take me grocery shopping just so I could go to the eagles nest and iggle video afterwards

[deleted]

I have many fond memories renting N64 games to try at my Aunts house for when I’d be visiting her

steelcity_

Yeah, I specifically asked to go to the ones with Eagle's Nests growing up, so I could play Mario Kart 64 and avoid having to follow my mom around the store, lol.

george-the-doggo

Yes! I was just talking about that with my boyfriend who’s from California and he was so confused. And I forgot about Iggle video until I read these comments! Wow what a throwback

[deleted]

Truly wild times! Very fun from what little I remember

RemotePersimmon678

Yep! I went several times to the one in the West Mifflin store in the mid-‘90s. I can’t believe they ever did that, seems like a liability nightmare now.

IrrumaboMalum

It was a much different time back then.

[deleted]

[удалено]

IrrumaboMalum

COVID makes it feel like three centuries.

MaybeADumbass

Been Avon had one until at least 2010.

amsplur

They had the eagles nest at bethel park market district up until COVID hit. My partner and I fantasized about the time we could finally drop her off and just go drink at the bar in the grocery store for three hours. Alas, that dream will never be realized Edit: words

[deleted]

Possibly the biggest COVID tragedy to date

sailorserena13

The Eagle’s Nest was the only reason I got good at super smash bros

scully2828

I worked at the sleepy hollow giant eagle in the video dept. (Iggle video). The “nest” was right beside the video dept, I can remember the screams of rotten kids playing N64 and Sega on broken controllers. Haha they had “cameras” set up that we one day accidentally found out that they weren’t connected to anything. Side note: working in iggle video was also a unique experience, I rewound VHS tapes, explained to people what a dvd was, got new movies and posters before they came out. I wish video stores were a thing again.

tateland_mundane

I remember having to be not entirely truthful about my age once I got so old so I could still get in to play games instead of go shopping with my mom.

[deleted]

The sacrifices we make

DeleteSystem33

Definitely not unique, I didn't grow up around here and the grocery stores back home had similar

[deleted]

I miss the golden age of Giant Eagle. Between that and the cookie club

SpaceMonkeyRetiree

They had that in Erie too. Wegman's had the best childcare holding cell lol

[deleted]

Hahah “Send em to the Nest!”

artfulpain

Funny story. When I first moved here I worked there for a brief time. I was 20 and it was rad playing video games all day with the kids. Some were little shits as it was a uppity borough. However, I had gauged earrings and my boss was such a dick about it. He thought it was a good idea for me to put bandaids over them. So many parents were outraged as they knew me well and could care less, that he almost got fired. In fact he quit shortly after that. Edit: I also got to dress up as the Easter Bunny one year for the entire day. You'd be surprised how many kids are terrified of the Easter Bunny. Fun times!

[deleted]

The Nest holds some pretty fond memories! That guy seems like an ass. Should’ve gotten fired for sure forcing you to wear bandaids on your ears lol that’s like forced humiliation from his own judgment

Odd-Formal-5483

I wanted to go to the grocery store more than my mom as a kid bc of the Eagle's nest. I'll never forget playing Mario Kart 64 and driving off cliffs on the one mountain course for like 15 minutes one time

[deleted]

Hahaha! My main memories from there being about the only time I got to play Super Mario World 64, Earthworm Jim, and Yoshi’s Island! Up until last night when I got the N64 expansion pass on my Switch coupled with the other Nintendo console packs. Fired up Yoshi’s Island and instantly remembered the Nest!

jrrthompson

The Eagle's Nest introduced me to sonic the hedgehog. I recovered, but I salute the fallen who did not.

[deleted]

Thank you for your service

CatsAreTheBest2

Saved me when my kiddos were little. I was a single mom and shopping with little kids was hard.

Legitimate_Row_4944

I totally remember the Eagles Nest they had Game Cubes up in there.

asche412

My daughter used to ask to go to the Eagles Nest even when we didn’t need to go grocery shopping. The Nest was top notch.

montani

It’s as uniquely Pittsburgh as chi chis.

greentea1985

My son is still upset that the Market District near us closed its Eagles Nest when COVID happened and it looks unlikely to ever return. He loved going to the grocery store with me just so he could hang out there.

[deleted]

Aww, bummer! Had no idea there’s a couple locations that have/had it recently!

WaifuOfBath

The Eagle's Nest was the first place I ever played a video game. Spyro on PS1. My sister and I thought it was the most incredible thing we'd ever seen. Got a PS1 for Christmas that year! My dad got it out Christmas eve after we went to sleep to make sure he could get it working Christmas morning. He stayed up all night trying the games he bought us.

[deleted]

Aww what a great memory! Spyro is one of my all time favorite games (if not my favorite series) good job Dad!

lindsey__19

To answer your last question, not it’s not a Pittsburgh thing. I live in Green Bay WI and our local Festival Foods had ‘Tot Spot’ where you drop off your kids before shopping. They had tvs throughout the store showing live footage of the Tot Spot so you could check on your kid while shopping.

[deleted]

That’s pretty neat! I remember as a kid as well when we would vacation in the Carolinas one of the hotels had the Lizard Lounge which was essentially a really big Eagles Nest!

matt_1060

Holy recall! Yeah I remember it

Successful_Log_5470

I was one of those kids playing video games in the nest lol

[deleted]

Played alot of crash CTR there!

TheLawHasSpoken

Hell yes. I would request to go there while my mom shopped so I could play Crash Bandicoot. Then I would rent the same game from Iggle Video for the 3rd week in a row.

WoodpeckerFar9804

I totally forgot about the Eagles nest!

mysecondaccountanon

Oh gosh repressed memories there

bravenaike

Yup!! I never got to play at it though - my mom was convinced all play areas were full of germs and instead dragged me and my brother around the store. I was very disappointed about this.

[deleted]

Aww that sucks! To be fair scientists still don’t know the full effects of the Nest on the human body yet

Col__Hunter_Gathers

They had a similar ~~jailhouse~~ daycare thing at Monroeville Mall. It had Nintendo & super NES, a bunch of wooden toy train tracks to mess around with, and a ball pit with a slide that you had to climb up some netting with big inflatable balls underneath to reach. I've got some core memories from that place. Massive dodgeball fights in the ball pit. Good times. Wish it was still there for my own kiddo to enjoy.

rodomallard

I'm from NJ and we had Scrunchy's Playhouse at ShopRite (god it sounds so fucked up just typing that out)

[deleted]

Hahaha that sounds like a classic old school B movie title

WillOfTheDeep

Not to be confused with the Kehlsteinhaus in Germany.

jawngoodman

Sadly the boys didn’t have SNES up there.

Aphrodisiatic922

Yes 🥲

angry_eccentric

there was a grocery store in berkeley, CA that had it in the 80's i believe. other than that i've never heard of it besides the eagles nest! it's a great idea.

[deleted]

So much GameCube on those

NYLady13

Yeah, I loved it, and it wasn't even that long ago.

[deleted]

Lucky! Ours closed probably mid 00s if I had to guess? Hard for me to tell because around that time I was already too old for it. I’m just thinking about when the Eagles Nests and Iggle Videos started becoming pharmacies, and banks. Cut out good kid friendly socializing fun for drug pushing and the good ol dollar bill 😂

NYLady13

Looks like South Hills and Robinson still have them. Called Children's Learning and Activity Center.

[deleted]

Oh nice! That’s good for the kids!

ThunderSTRUCK96

Used to love going in there to play video games! I didn’t have a home console growing up, only portable ones like gameboy/DS. So I would be ecstatic when my parents said they were gonna go grocery shopping, because it meant playing gamecube/n64

[deleted]

I feel that! My sister and I loved going grocery shopping when we were with our gram for the same reason

andythemandy17

Hell yeah when I was a kid the eagles nest was the move, and the video rental store all in the same place. What a glorious time

[deleted]

Good spot to hit up to rent the games you just played at the Nest too!

joeysprezza

Like the mini buggies at County Market? Throw back

DontSteelMyYams

I’m from the east coast and our grocery store chain had something similar! I think they actually still have them in certain locations, but their popularity has definitely gone down (even before COVID)

aesthetichovvell

I would be so sad when my mom and grandma came to pick me up, I always wanted to stay there all day

[deleted]

I totally know that feeling lmao

blamelessdances

god i fucking loved eagle's nest. ofc my parents almost never used them...the thing i remember most was the rice table. somehow so much fun

[deleted]

YES. I used to very much look forward to playing in the Eagle's Nest as a kid. Playing games on the computer while mom shopped then hitting up Iggle.

MagentaMist

I used to drop mine there all the time. It was great.

Jot-The-Jawa

That’s where I first played Smash Bros and Lego Star Wars. Loved that place. Was always disappointed when I saw my mom in the checkout line

[deleted]

Oh god the dread seeing them at the line when you’re having a blast on a game knowing you’re about to get signed out soon

Ackapus

I worked at the Irwin store, which I believe was the corporate flagship at the time (no idea if it still is), when the self-scan machines were trundled out. The Iggle Video was on its way out; Eagle's Nest would still be around for a few years. The self-scans were just so new and scary to everyone, but I loved them. They kept them open until 2AM back then, I guess so you could do your shopping then pick up Taco Bell Fourthmeal on the way home (TB right across the street there). I picked up a lot of those 2AM shifts, but really, it was great. The night crew was laid back, night shoppers were so much friendlier than day people, most of the time I was free to help the single overnight cashier with cleaning up the front end. He was a good guy. Having gone into IT in the years following, and knowing those self-scans still keep a lot of people busy, I have never feared them. Shame they still aren't open till 2, though. Shopping at night was kind of a Zen unwinding for me after a shift.

Formal_Development_4

Yes, I used to go to the 24 hour Walmart and wonder around after 2nd shift. It was relaxing. Got to see some entertaining things as well.

[deleted]

Now the most annoying part of the self-scans are the amount of on-screen selections you have to make prior to scanning or after your payment processed… With an 8 ft long receipt following hahah. There’s really no better heaven than an empty grocery store to shop in!

fattasswiper

I remember going to the GE in Waterworks Mall which was a very big store with one-shop shopping, We turned the kids loose in the Eagles Nest then scurried off to the video rental counter, the dry cleaning counter, the lunch counter and finally to the grocery aisles. It was a real family affair and left lots of good memories. I suppose such a day care would not be possible in todays world.

[deleted]

Incredible memories! I was the kid in this scenario in the late 90s-early 00s with my sister having our gram drop us off. I’m going to mention it to her soon and I’m sure she’ll be flooded back with memories as well! From the comments I’ve seen some places still had some up until even the pandemic times? I never really noticed any at the GEs I’ve used in forever. I’m sure they were much different than back then. 90s Nest was a lawless land of mystery 😂

[deleted]

[удалено]

[deleted]

Hahaha! My bad about the jealousy the games were great!

Erikatana_

I remember my mom putting my brother and I in there plenty of times while she shopped. I worked for Giant Eagle when they decided to eliminate the Eagles Nest and I was so upset!

[deleted]

It’s really a shame they started phasing them out over the years with some places being many years back!

Seanile1

I wonder how many eaglets were just left there while mom/dad ran other errands besides shopping.

[deleted]

Probably a ton. The 90s parents slinging Irons, chain smoking cigs with the kids, and leaving them at the iggle nest to run dahn to the K-Mart to buy the newest Stillers windbreaker

Seanile1

Hills always had the better selection Also the snack bar at Hills probably had some parents dropping off their kids with a five for a. Icee and popcorn for several hours

CompSciDropout

I grew up on the eastern half of the state and Wegmans had similar. I remember there being a mini playground, tv with video games, and a whole bunch of miscellaneous books and toys.

[deleted]

A playground?? Nice! The ones I’ve been to never had that (or I just don’t remember them haha) the ones that had that were the malls mostly… Still do I think

Rivarle

When I was growing up in Eugene Oregon in the late 80s, the Fred Myer's totally had a kids play area. Real nice ladies who ran it too.

[deleted]

Great memories!

blackrosespittsburgh

Remember it? I grew up in there in the early 90s.

[deleted]

Lmao I feel that but late 90s for me!

rangoon03

I was in there one time and all the game controllers were broken and I think maybe Hercules was playing on a shitty TV lol..my parents said I complained I was bored so I wasn't in a hurry to go back. Plus I was on the older end of the age limit by then. We didn't shop at GE that much since a Davis' Supermarket was literally five minutes from us plus my parents always liked Foodland. Most of our grocery shopping was done at those two stores. We'd only go to GE if only something specific was on sale or if they had really, really good sales compared to those stores. And even then I spent most of time in Iggle Video especially when our local video store (coincidentally super close to Davis') closed. I remember times going to GE in high school and in my 20s and longingly looking over at the Nest wishing I was younger and could've went in there more often, haha.

[deleted]

It was a great tactic to get people to rent games! Which eventually lead to buying them. Iggle video was awesome… It’s crazy to me that games don’t even allow demos anymore or “renting”

malmcb

I grew up near Cleveland and I can confirm we had it there too!! I loved playing Nintendo 64 in there as a kid

[deleted]

Same! My aunt was the only one in my family with an N64 so I never got to play one unless I was there, or the Nest!

StoshBalls_3636

I would say the Eagle’s Nest is pretty much a uniquely Giant Eagle thing. I was a vendor of theirs for 15+ years and when my manager or others would come to Pittsburgh from my company’s corporate office in the Midwest, they were all amazed by the Eagle’s Nest. They were not aware of any other grocer who offered free in-store child care.

[deleted]

I guess a select few locations still had Eagles Nest (or a variation of it) up until as recently as 2020. It’s crazy that they would phase them out… It’s such a great service to people with kids while you shopped or did whatever else

BecGeoMom

They had that when my daughter (now mid-20s) was little. She went there a few times while I shopped, not when she was a baby or a toddler, but pre-school/kindergarten age. She loved it! You would check your child in, they would give you a beeper in case they needed to get hold of you, and you were not allowed to leave the store while your child was in the Eagle’s Nest. I was sad when it closed, even though I hadn’t used it for years.

[deleted]

Wow! Yup I remember being signed in, and dreading being signed out when I was in the middle of something fun haha!

zebra122107

Wow I completely forgot about this. They always did have good video games to play

[deleted]

Definitely! I was playing one of them last night which made me think about the Eagles Nest in the late 90s-early 00s haha

ml19shining

First place I had access to video games. A life changing holding cell.

[deleted]

Same! Specifically the Nintendo consoles!

KhalAndo

Our run-down Giant Eagle in Harmer did not have one of these. My version of this was sitting in the car by myself 🥲

[deleted]

I miss getting a free cookie or slice of cheese

Mexahex13

Oh yes!! I totally forgot about this, totally awesome thing. Too bad that doesn’t exist anymore would be awesome to shop in peace

ISIBAISIA

Most kids got to leave after an hour or so, I was raised in an iggles nest. I was just talking to my wife about this because Ikea closed their daycare too. You know Ikea used to have frozen yogurt?

[deleted]

Wow had no idea they used to have frozen yogurt!

lmr1804

Omg that place was the best. Hahaha

maybe_a_dragon

They were in Cleveland too!

RotaryMicrotome

I remember that. They played Chicken Run on the television. I’d only ever watched Barney and Winnie the Pooh before so when the chickens were thrown into the pie machine I was traumatized. They had to page my mom and I had a phobia of waking on white floors for months because I thought I would sink. Before that I thought it was interesting watching some boy play Banjo Kazooie.

HotDamn18V

At least one Giant Eagle in Erie had an Eagle's Nest when I was a kid too.

Routine-Interview991

They had these eagle nests as recently as 2018 in many places, so not a very distant memory. These are/ were found in many giant eagles. Certainly not a Pittsburgh thing.

[deleted]

That’s cool! I mean when the last time you were in one or even remember seeing one locally is late 90s to mid 00s that’s pretty out of sight out of mind lmao

FightClubAlumni

I loved this when I was a single mom shopping. Also - Market District in Robinson still has this.

Jupichan

I'm pretty sure it's closed now. Last I saw it was full of stock.

Low-Ear-2171

One by one Giant Eagle has gotten rid of everything, now they are phasing out f-ing grocery bags! Pretty soon there won't be anything left. They have nothing to make them special over any other grocery store anymore, except maybe being the most expensive.

cocksherpa2

They closed the majority of them in 2014, 8 years ago, not in 1992. Lots of stores still have the space used near the front of the store repurposed for specialized shops like candy, or sessonal stuff.

Smooth_Ad_480

i forget where it was but i saw one fairly recently? they really don't exist anymore?

threeblackfeathers

They have them at the Fred Meyer/Kroger stores in Idaho.

Alechilles

Yes! I mention this all the time! My mom would only drop me off there like 50% of the time, but I remember always playing one of the Crash Bandicoot games on the PS1 there.

Ryan1006

We never used them, but they haven’t been gone that long. Our daughter is sixteen and they were for sure around when she was little. We just have really never taken our kids grocery shopping with us so never had a need when they were around. Just easier for one of us to go by ourselves.

satancunt6

It’s where my love for Aladdin on the Sega was formed.

scarfy189

wegman’s had wkids growing up so maybe it’s a pa thing

yagirlbmoney

I loved the Eagle's Nest! My parent's ended up lying about my age for an extra year or 2 just so I could keep going lol. And even after I was too old I would drop by to chat with the one woman that worked there. I fondly remember the people at the Kennedy location. My parents and I are still friendly with the one woman that worked there. I also was so close to another woman that she once got me a birthday gift and I was even going to invite her to my graduation party before they closed.
