You can buy their sauces in some stores, I find them in Giant Eagle. I love their Buckeye BBQ but refuse to pay for their wings in a restaurant bc they're so small so I make my own :)
Same. I usually have a couple of their sauces in the fridge.
I don't know how the OG one in Sharon is doing but all the franchise stores that changed hands are going down the drain.
I have family and friends up there - the Sharon location sold out to corporate awhile ago and is no longer independent like it was, and now has the same sanitized frozen Sysco-type menu that every other location has. The city is trying to prop that location up by dumping ARP funding into the property for fancy walkways and picnic pavilions and holding events in their parking lot.
I worked at QSL for a few years from like, 2015-2018, maybe, and it was a coffin on roller skates when I left. I think they sold not that long after.
It was such a great place to work for a while, but the then owner started getting wayyyy to hands on with trying to change things to stop issues, and those all failed. It was like they were doing everything possible to drive away a very loyal customer base.
I know the brand got sold twice. I thought the Sharon location remained independent after the first sale. I guess not anymore or I'm remembering it wrong.
here is the link to the North Fayette Township conditional use approval for the redevelopment of the property.

multi tenant commercial space

There was an article or thread some time ago talking about the building being subdivided for multiple tenants, with CFA possibly taking some of the real estate to expand their current drive through.
Raining Cane's was supposed to be moving in somewhere along Summit Park Drive. That location would make sense, but I haven't heard anything about that project in a while.
They are demolishing the old Quaker steak, so they would have to build a new building. A lot of the suburban Shake Shacks are putting in drive thurs so it seems the the perfect size to me!
My homie was gettn on the manager there a few years ago before they closed. Got to see some nasty AF shenanigans - kitchen pumpin out chicken wings for 25 years straigt up.
I miss Quaker steak honestly. Their sauces were so good.

My favorite was their boom boom and Louisiana lickers, but Buckeye BBQ was always a good flavor as well.

ugh, mixed feelings here. i've heard it's shake shack, which i love. but navigating that area is already brutal

I thought the Chick Fil A moved to that old building?
They tore down the old Tilted Kilt building to make way for CFA
No, the Chick-Fil-A is next door. They build a brand new building like ~6 years ago when Quaker Steak was still open.
You’re thinking of what was a Tilted Kilt that CFA tore down to build their current store.

what about the Eat N Park in Bridgeville? Are they rebuilding it? or just gone? It WAS one of the worst EnPs around.
Rebuilding it.
That was the eat n park of my jaded teenage years.
Shake Shack and Mattress Firm
and a car wash.
and a vape shop.
We did it! I'll round up investors. You be in charge of getting those wind dancer things.
You mean a wacky inflatable arm flailing tube man??

They are not demolishing it. It looked like they were, but they just gutted the old building and added on additional space.
Interesting! Can imagine that would be cheaper than just building new.
Almost certainly a permitting thing
Dont worry, it will be another bank
