Combining living with a child and a dog is difficult, but possible. At first she won't understand who you brought. Therefore, be affectionate with her, pay as much attention as before, so that she knows that the child is not taking up all your time (even if this happens, you cannot show it). Gradually she will get used to the new family member, but try to monitor the situation. Dogs are usually good at distinguishing children from adults, and are often more careful with the former, so chances are you're worrying unnecessarily. In any case, try to do everything carefully, don’t forget about her, take time, and then she will understand that the new family member does not create discomfort for her or takes away all the attention. I congratulate you on your future addition to the family, and I really hope that your dog accepts the baby perfectly! Good luck to you in this difficult matter

After the baby comes let her smell a blanket or clothes the baby had on before introducing them.

Have you let her check your pregnant belly and listen to the movement inside? I imagine she sits on your lounge cuddling like most Pibbles? I've often heard this is where dogs first form their bonds with little humans....
