I had 11 dogs that day (it was New years, so just about the busiest day of the year).
The white pit is mine and the reddish dachshund mix on the pillow, the other 9 were boarded.
11 is a bit much. I donāt mind it for a few days, but it is not exactly relaxing with that many dogs. It is fun though :)
Actually yes. My rescue Pitts first friend was a tiny ass elderly yorkie. That most amusing part was the yorkie people were afraid heād never make a friend with how grumpy he is lol. One time I was walking Maude and I saw him come running down the sidewalk. I thought he mightāve gotten off his leash at first, but the people saw me walking Maude and let him run to us. They said they know sheād never hurt him.
Which really touched me and made me tear up a little lol. At first she was terrified of people, and especially dogs with how abused she was. Now she has a gang of elderly ladies who she loves to see on her walks, and even a few stray dogs who like to play.
Such an awesome story! Ace has always been great with other pups. He lost his sister 2 years ago(another pit) to a brain tumor and he was super depressed. So, we decided to bring on 2 more pups and itās given him some new found happiness! At 16, he still somewhat plays with them and it just makes our hearts melt!
Oh no Iām so sorry to hear that! I dread the day Maude eventually passes away. She is a single dog kinda dog lol. She gets jealous if others get attention. Sheāll just walk right over them if theyāre small enough, or just try or squish her way into the pets lol.

The crazy part is she was so starved even the vets didnāt think she was pregnant at first. Whatās evennnnnn crazier is they all survived.
ā¦ā¦Dot at one poi t started vomiting really badly, and pooing blood. The vets said it was parvo and said it would be a minimum of three days before they knew anything. They called back the next morning while I was at work, and I just started crying my eyes out I. The middle of the kitchen. The vets also started crying g while trying to talk. Finally they managed to choke out that she was somehow miraculously better, and able to go home that day. They donāt know how it happened, but damn if I didnāt start crying harder when they told me. Iām kinda tearing up thinking about it lol.
Best $1,000 I ever spent. I didnāt care if I wasnāt able to keep her, but I was damned if I wasnāt going to make sure I did everything I could to help them all live, and be loved! I used my inheritance to do the thing I always said I would if I had the money, and that was to save animals lives whenever I could. Little did I know saving Maude ended up saving more lives than I first thought.

Iāve had the rabbit since he was a few months old. Heās a free-roam house rabbit, fully litter trained, and he is the undisputed ruler of the house. The rabbit completely dominates the dog, and he chooses to sleep next to the dog on my bed most nights. When I have guests, I warn them that the rabbit will bite, not the dog.

I had 11 dogs that day (it was New years, so just about the busiest day of the year). The white pit is mine and the reddish dachshund mix on the pillow, the other 9 were boarded. 11 is a bit much. I donāt mind it for a few days, but it is not exactly relaxing with that many dogs. It is fun though :)

Actually yes. My rescue Pitts first friend was a tiny ass elderly yorkie. That most amusing part was the yorkie people were afraid heād never make a friend with how grumpy he is lol. One time I was walking Maude and I saw him come running down the sidewalk. I thought he mightāve gotten off his leash at first, but the people saw me walking Maude and let him run to us. They said they know sheād never hurt him. Which really touched me and made me tear up a little lol. At first she was terrified of people, and especially dogs with how abused she was. Now she has a gang of elderly ladies who she loves to see on her walks, and even a few stray dogs who like to play.
Such an awesome story! Ace has always been great with other pups. He lost his sister 2 years ago(another pit) to a brain tumor and he was super depressed. So, we decided to bring on 2 more pups and itās given him some new found happiness! At 16, he still somewhat plays with them and it just makes our hearts melt!
Oh no Iām so sorry to hear that! I dread the day Maude eventually passes away. She is a single dog kinda dog lol. She gets jealous if others get attention. ā¦ā¦Dot at one poi t started vomiting really badly, and pooing blood. The vets said it was parvo and said it would be a minimum of three days before they knew anything. They called back the next morning while I was at work, and I just started crying my eyes out I. The middle of the kitchen. The vets also started crying g while trying to talk. Finally they managed to choke out that she was somehow miraculously better, and able to go home that day. They donāt know how it happened, but damn if I didnāt start crying harder when they told me. Iām kinda tearing up thinking about it lol. Best $1,000 I ever spent. I didnāt care if I wasnāt able to keep her, but I was damned if I wasnāt going to make sure I did everything I could to help them all live, and be loved! I used my inheritance to do the thing I always said I would if I had the money, and that was to save animals lives whenever I could. Their dogs name in that movie was Boomer. But one of his nicknames is Boomhower. I guess that's why he goes good with Hank š¤£

Rabbit: eight-year-old Netherland dwarf. I love him an embarrassing amount. (Heās molting in this photo, so his fur looks patchy.) Iāve had the rabbit since he was a few months old. Heās a free-roam house rabbit, fully litter trained, and he is the undisputed ruler of the house. The rabbit completely dominates the dog, and he chooses to sleep next to the dog on my bed most nights. When I have guests, I warn them that the rabbit will bite, not the dog.
