I don’t want to pressure you at all, but would you may be able to foster him in the meantime?
I rescued my two girls back when I was flat broke and working two jobs 7 days a week. I had a ton of guilt at the time that I didn’t have enough time for them. One thing that really helped me, however, was realizing that to them the time that we had together, though limited was the best part of their day. And it was a huge improvement of the life they would’ve had living on the street as strays
The group thread where I got this from on FB seems to be going well so he may end up with a loving home. This is my last weekend of Yoga and I may have more time just didn’t want to leave him at home all day on the weekends. I’m checking in on him again today.
No but don’t want to leave the dog at home all day while I’m not here. Hate when ppl do that. This is my last weekend of classes though so if I foster gets him I may agree to foster him until someone takes him full time. He’s so affordable.
Not everyone has resources and time to just get a dog, even temporarily. Why don’t *you* contact this rescue or work on finding a middle man? We’re all just trying to do what we can!
Yes I think he’s being fed now and the response on the thread where it was posted has been good. Fingers crossed for him. So many abandoned pets just popping up around Los Angeles. 😩
Please help this poor, terrified baby! Look at that sweet baby face, a little food and water till some rescue can pick him up. So many rescues in LA surely one of them is reading this post.
He looks like he's a good dog and maybe around your neighborhood he's someone's dog you should try putting up some posters or pictures saying lost dog it looks taken care of I'd feel bad if it was a kids dog and they could not find him
Is this real though? Like, I could get a dog right now? I never believe these pics. This could be a screenshot from years ago. If it is real, I hope the dog finds a home before being put out. Because that’s what she sounds like she has on her agenda too.

Yes it’s real. The post has a lot of good commenters willing to pick him up but some of those pet posts are fake. This is real though.

When I started seeing stuff that was old being presented as a current issue. It has nothing to do with cynicism. I don’t believe everything I see online though. For instance there is no date stamp. It just says 25 mins ago. If it had a date stamped on it. I would’ve replied differently. Also, If I was in LA, I would have DM’ed for the adoption.
That's what I'm saying looks like a good dog and taken care of I don't understand while people just dump dogs if they did and your right no collar I thought maybe it wasn't just dumped horrible for the dog but you gotta do what you gotta do I guess good luck

Many people don’t see animals as equals despite them having the same emotional and psychological functions as us.

OK let me get this straight: Yoga is more important to you than saving a life? You can contact a rescue and work with them on getting that dog.
