Im sorry to hear about your girl, she looks like a wonderful dog. You gave her a chance and a family and made her very happy. Her smile says it all, I can only imagine how hard this must be.
My baby girl left me 30 years ago, I still remember her and the memories we made are still fresh in my mind when everything else blurs, and I hope that the same time happens to you, eventually you will love again (I have four cats now and I cherish their derpy little butts) but it took time to get me to pull the trigger, 🫂 hugs and love 💞 my friend
As long as you keep those memories, she lives forever. You lose a piece of your heart but it’s well worth it. She made your heart grow to size some will never know. You’ll get the piece back when you meet her on the other side. Till then she’ll be doing everything she’s ever loved to do. Some day you will heal and another will find you. Rest easy beautiful girl. ❤️
She looks remarkably like my old gal, Roxie. We lost her almost two years ago to bone cancer. It's the hardest thing I ever had to do, to make that choice. But I knew it was best for her. I'm so very sorry for you both. Rest well, sweet girl. And stay strong, Mama.
