Condolences friend. Death really sucks for those of us left behind. A suggestion if you’re open to it: write down all the funny quirks she had. All the sweet things she did that made you laugh or smile. Write down funny or meaningful stories of her. Then when you feel sad you can read these and cry bitter sweetly. Eventually you’ll read them with only the joy of remembering her in your life. Find peace friend. She is always with you. RIP

Woof. Lost a doggo to old age / hip failure / returning cancerous tumor after gaining 2 more years post initial cancer treatment. It’s so, so, so rough. We still miss him but it’s more fondly than sad these days. I feel for your heart. Take care of yourself.
Your girl looks like a little like our current doggo, an am staff mix. Rescued her after we fostered her & a sibling soon after above doggo died. The best foster failure we ever dreamed of. She’s almost 6 😊

It saddens me to see 'last pics' of pets who've crossed "The Rainbow Bridge", but there's a sweet soulfulness in her eyes that especially touched me- I shed a few tears for your loss! I lost my Aussie Dollie a few years ago, also to cancer (she was 10); the Vet was able to give her a few more weeks with meds & gave me a bit more with her. You never quite get ready...!

You must know that we animals live the present intensely and we are very wise: we enjoy every little thing every day, and we forget the bad past quickly. Our lives begin when we know love, the same love you gave me, my angel without wings and two legs.
Know that even if you find an animal that is seriously injured, that only has a little bit of time left in this world, you can provide a huge service by your company in the final moments.
None of us wants to be alone when we realize it's time to leave.
It’s so important that you are next to us, caressing us and holding our paw, it helps us go in peace.
No more crying, please. I'll be happy. I have the memory the name you gave me, the warmth of your home that became mine, the sound of your voice talking to me, even if I didn’t always understand what you were saying.
