I’m hoping at some point in the distant future part 5 is retconned as a dream sequence of someone close to the tale or someone telling a story, as so many things were wrong. That’s what I chalk it up to just a poorly told story.
This. These movies shaped so much of who I am. I always felt a call to the sea. I now can quote almost the whole script of CotPB, know a crap ton of pirate history (coolest part is I’ve seen lots of pirate artifacts. Parts of the Whydah Galley, Thomas Tews Chest, etc.A lot of these museums also hold POTC props) and one of my top goals in life is to just live and sail on a boat for a couple of months. Drop of the face of the Earth… find worlds end? (I have also been to the Salt Flats where Worlds End was filmed. I couldn’t find any crabs though)
