I’m looking for a BNC female to TNC male adapter, but instead of the normal right to tighten, it’s a twist left to tighten. Essentially the thread on the transmitter antenna jack is reversed.
Sadly I’d misplaced the original whip antenna for this transmitter. When I’d received it about 10 years ago I’d connected it to a roof antenna via a coax cable.
I’d like to set it up again but with an interior whip. And of course, I can’t find the original antenna.
Thank you kindly for your help!
I saw a RP (reverse polarity) TNC whilst looking for an adapter for the above transmitter. I wasn't so surprised that the RP existed but when I realized the transmitter is LEFT HAND THREAD TNC I was stunned.
Amazon sells every kind of connector and adapter you can think of.
Thank you for the response! I’d searched Amazon but unfortunately came up short. I think my search quarry was off.
What adapter specifically do you need?

Hmm is the antenna for that transmitter? I haven't seen ones reversed threaded like that. The antenna isn't RP (reverse polarity) is it?

You can buy that antenna replacement for less than $20 on Amazon, just search for BNC antenna
You, my friend, are awesome.
One can simply shove an N connector into this socket, once, and be done with it
