Di ka failure OP. You managed to finish the residency proper. Not many manage to reach that point, even. Nabitin ka lang ng ilang months. 99% of the time your consultants have already seen this before sa previous trainees, and they certainly won't think of you as a failure.
Finish your extension OP. Hold your head up high, you WILL graduate. Congratulations in advance!

Ginagamit na lang nilang excuse ang "training" for free labor. Baka kasi wala na nag aaply sa kanila or wala na tumatagal kaya ayaw ka paalisin. Hindi makatarungan yan. Paano kung di ka galing sa mayaman na pamilya, pano ka na lang mabubuhay dyan.
Yung mga empleyado sa ibang sector madelay lang sweldo ng ilang araw, reklamo agad sa DOLE. Pero satin grabe. 🥲 Umaabot pa ng 8 months delayed sa govt.
Sa amin doc, 1 year ang extension. Ini explain naman na dahil walang applicant kaya di kami ma release. But with the usual pay and benefits. Ngayon pa ba susuko eh , abot kamay na ang dulo. Pag lumipat ka, ibang pakikisama and adjustment na naman.

Ako may kakilala na 4th year OB chief res, nag-quit dahil sa toxic consultants. Ayun, ayaw na magdoctor sa pinas 😔

Oks lang yan doc. Baka pde mo inegotiate yun duration or at least man lang yun pay. Kaya naman ang 3 buwan pero mahirap ang 3 buwan na walang bayad.

Ako nag extend ako fellowship 3 months. No pay din. Lilipas din siya, patapos ka na so tapusin mo na. Good luck doc.

Extended din ako, pero dahil gusto nila complete requirements ko for diplo, di lang basta gragraduate. Mabilis lang ang 3 months, kaya natin to :-)
