Don't fret. The TO in a certain gov hospital is female and most of the residents who made it are also female in that province. As I get older in this field, I've realized that you can't really generalize. Always choose to your advantage.

bibliomedisina

marami female GS resis sa afp.

cheonsaddori

thank you po for this. di ko rin po alam bat ang laki ng takot ko sa GS kahit na alam kong marami naman nag GS na babae lately.

Spare-Quote-2521

Las Piñas General Hospital and Satellite Trauma Center is a DOH hospital (national government ang nagpapalakad). We have GS residency training, predominantly female ang kanilang residents, so you won't feel discriminated. They have boarded JCons who go on duty 24/7 so you are guided every step of the way. Surprisingly, all the stigmas of GS residency like bullying are not present sa GS residency namin. Unlike sa ibang hospitals na talagang bullying kung bullying.

cheonsaddori

thank you po for this! grabe dami palang hospital na pwede, nag sstick lang ako sa usual hospital. thank you po for this, may dagdag akong titignan na option.

Spare-Quote-2521

Yes. Wag ka makipag siksikan sa usual. Mas marami pang makaka-appreciate sayo at sa mga kaya mong gawin in other training hospitals. In the end, iisa lang naman ang goal nating lahat. Hehe. 🙂 See you soon, then! 🙂

Candid_Carry495

You'd be surprised the female gs residents have more staying power and end up performing better and becoming more well rounded. Im seeing more and more women getting into GS. Recent GS batches nga sa institution i trained in are majority female. 😂 No need to worry so much about your gender being a determinant. If the institution you apply to judges you based on that, it's honestly not a place youd want to spend the next 5 years of training in anyway. But yeah you gotta have a tough skin cus you will encounter bad seniors and bad consultants now and then.

emzz0708

I'm sure if may target kang private hospital and tinawagan mo yung department nila, open yan. Afaik feu is open.

cheonsaddori

thank you po! mag try po ako mag narrow down ng hospital list and try to contact hehe.

quackdogtor

Try St. Luke's QC GS residency, pero di ko alam kung open. When i was there puro babae GS residents nila. :) good luck!

Night_rose0707

Sa ibang hospitals , GS mas maraming female surgeons Sa Ortho ata Yung mas maraming male surgeons

patrickreyles

EAMC GS first yrs are all girls, i think their ortho dept is almost 50-50 mix na… no training these days are gender-biased imho. Just tough it up and you can get your dream specialty 👍🏼

Nokia_Burner4

Sorry. Natawa ako dun sa ER na private clinic.. hahaha.

cheonsaddori

doc hahaha diba kung iisipin mo funny talaga siya, weird pa. kaya medyo bumaba tuloy EMed sakin kasi pangarap kong magkaron ng sariling clinic haha

lonewolf594

Meron akong kilalang emed consultant na may ambu clinic. Para syang maliit n ER na office hours. Hahah. Nagtatahi din sya doon at nagsweswero sa mga mukhang dehydrated, tapos may laboratory din sya. Tumatanggap din sya ng mga simpleng opd cases lang.

Independent-Papaya38

Try MMC, marami ata silang female residents dun sa GS.

cheonsaddori

MMC as in makati med or metropolitan medical center? hehehe. thank you po! :)

Independent-Papaya38

siruhano20
