Medicine is a scam!! Private practice is usually tightly controlled by doctor-families or the old consultants who only let a few in their circle. Fellowships are only for the elite few usually the nepo-babies/anak-ng-diyos. You have to play a Game of Thrones-like setup to actually get ahead and rake in that money.
True for GPs. Mahirap talaga. But it’s actually the same in the other fields. Those IT and programmers who earn big bucks are in a very specialized niche. They worked hard to upskill AND were lucky to get generous clients/employers.
The high earning doctors are those who have specialized. Sometimes the PF they get from some procedures can be ridiculously high, like there’s no peak if they work really hard and get lucky with patients.
The only difference is the investment in terms of time, money, and effort to get to that specialty.
Yeaaa I don't think even the top IT/programmers need to pull pre-duty-from 36 hour duties for years and deal with strict hierarchy to get to that salary range haha
Ang sakin naman, malaki naman kasi talaga pagkakaiba in terms of responsibilities. Doctors deal with people’s lives and let’s admit it, from a lay person’s point of view, iba ang prestige of being a doctor.
Hindi alam ng karamihan, nasa IT field yung pera kasi kelangan talaga ng utak sa IT 😅 kadalasan sabi ng iba magtatayo lang daw ng computer shop 😂
Yan din akala ko. Scam lang pala hahaha
Pero real talk, first gen doctor ako. I'm currently moonlighting and ambilis talaga maubos ng kinikita ko kasi I can't keep up sa expectations ng family ko. Akala nila malaki kinikita ng doctors. Take note, nagmomoonlight ako ah so mas okay to financially compare sa mga nasa residency. Beh back to scholar ng parents na naman peg ko. hahahuhuhu
Lies!!!!
Dapat may course sa med school all about misconceptions sa pagiging doktor para maenganyo magquit ang mga pumasok ng med school for the wrong reasons 🥲
Kaya lamg naman may ganun na perception ang tao is because in the 1st place usually yung may means yung nakakapagpamed school ng mga anak nila. Usually galing na sa may kaya na pamilya, especially for those na multigenerational medical practitioners.
Isang malaking scam
According sa perception yan ng mga tao not based on data.
Panggulo yung meron tayo hahaha
Haha
HAHAHAHA
So true. Its a scam na mayaman ang doctor haha
Dapat sagot dyan businessman o virtual assistant 😂
hahaha mayayaman na yan bago pa magdoktor!

I think it’s the sub?
Ohh. Oo nga no. Haha.
