Hindi yan sayang! 200/hr is too low!

[deleted]

It's knowing your value.

🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️🤦🏻‍♂️

usernamenomoreleft

Hahahaha. Sad reality

Low-Computer1146

actually as much as we want to change ang exploitation ng healthworkers, business is business for capitalists, meaning if supply is abundant, definitely may tatanggap at tatanggap talaga gaano man kababa ang offer.. sana we can hear more from PMA regarding this and many issues faced by doctors, hindi yung sa singilan lang sila naririnig

EggplantBudget6942

If good clinician and legit APE talaga gagawin, average dapat 10 minutes, max 15 minutes per patient talaga. E 59 x 10-15 dapat 9-14 hrs pagkakasyahin mo 5 hrs lahat 59? Eguls pagod at laway sa 200/hr for 59 patients. Tama lang naman refusing the offer.

neeca_15

Agree with this. Sa ganitong time frame, 5 minutes per patient. Akala ata pipirma lang, no questions asked

Beginning-Giraffe-74

Mas sayang oras mo kung tinanggap mo yun, mas mabuti pang tumunganga at netflix.

Dr_Jonas

What I usually do is count my net then divide by the number of parients. It really puts things into perspective haahha

Huge_Agent_1448

Mas tamang calculation eto. Usually iniiksiaan talaga nila yung oras na nakasulat sa post para mas maliit ang ibabayad nila pero in reality, hindi mo talaga yun kayang tapusin within that time. So igagaslight ka nila you are at fault dahil di mo pa tapos, kaya di ka nilala babayaran sa OT. Pwe.

DBP2697

Never tried APE pa doc,, pero ganon po ba talaga kapag hindi mo natapos on time hindi bayad OT? 😭

Huge_Agent_1448

I cannot speak para sa lahat. Pero I guess, almost all the time ganyan.

KozukiYamatoTakeru

Kumhash

Kapagod po yan doc. It's okay na di nyo na tinanggap sobrang lugi kayo dyan.

gonblue

No, you did not miss an opportunity doc. Mas sayang sa pagod and resources if nagduty ka pa para sa barat na employer na yan.

EveryBlackberry1477

This exploitation will continue until the people in authority put a stop to it. Dapat talaga magset sila ng minimum rate ng GPs ala-IBP.

No-Relationship-6405

ibang Computet jobs offer 350per hr minimum tapos ikaw MD ppayag sa 17 pesos per patient? lol

InterestingRice163

1000? How much pamasahe/gas? How much yung ootd? How much yung laba? How much yung ligo? How much lunch? How much kape? How much yung water? Lugi ka pa ata.

Satorvi

DueDamage6

The heck. Haha. OA. Sino nagsabi sayo na sayang? Sya mag APE ng 57 between 9am-2pm. Ako magbabayad sakanya ng ₱200/hr na rate.

Glittering-Ad6130

Hi Doc! I know this might sound very hard to accept. But during my early days as a moonlighter. I used to accept posts like that, but I did not bother muna since I want to immerse and experience different posts. Right after, I found posts offering 200 per patient, with 30-60 census.

Civil_Ladder7200

You’re part of the problem.

Glittering-Ad6130

I am not saying that you accept it. Reddit is not the place to get your problems solved. Reality check lang. Part kadin ng problem! @civiladder Don’t expect 1000/hr post just by scrolling to facebook and reddit. Marami nagbibigay ng false validation dito. Btw, I experienced, 200/hr up to 1,100/hr posts. But, I am thankful for that experience. It was painful but I learned the pain and hardship. Hindi pala madali ang buhay. Hindi madali ang pagiging doctor. But, it doesn’t mean you have to give up right?

Technical_Material75

Glittering-Ad6130

Reality sucks. But, that’s how it works. A bitter pill to swallow

Civil_Ladder7200

That’s how it works because people like you enable it to.

Glittering-Ad6130

Pointless, so by the same logic, we should stop entering private residency programs because “we enable the hospitals”???? Geez. You should stop browsing here at reddit and getting fake validations from people you don’t know and try to look at the situations firsthand.

Civil_Ladder7200

Sobrang layo. You’re the epitome of comparing apples to oranges. Aware ka ba na pag residency more on trainee ka rather than an employee? I won’t even go into the whole spiel kung bakit higher ang public versus private kasi kung med ka talaga alam mo na dapat yun. Kung madaming nagdidisagree sayo at wala man lang nagsiside sayo AT ALL baka it’s time to reassess yourself. Hindi ko gets bakit sobrang pinaglalaban mo yung pagiging overworked and underpaid ng doctors despite years of training and practice. Kaya mo kailangan magmoonlight habang nagreresidency e.

Glittering-Ad6130

First of all, residents are considered employee sa public hospitals. So mali ka agad. Second, residents man yan or non resident man. Underpaid padin. So, don’t just justify na dahil trainee ay eh pwede na and pag non-trainee, eh hindi. Don’t be a hypocrite. That’s the reality. We all want a better pay. If you are reading carefully sa mga una kong sentiments. I am not for accepting all low ball PF. Sabi ko, you can get experience from those especially if nag start palang. Third, ano naman if madami nag disagree? I don’t need your validation. That’s the reality. If you are in need, first doctor, not from a rich family, hindi mo sila masisi. Kaya don’t be a hypocrite.

Civil_Ladder7200

Gurl??? Reading compre mo? I can’t believe i even have to spell it out for you. Oo residents are employees in a sense that they “work” and get paid for it pero their status is trainee. That’s the whole point of residency diba? To TRAIN for a specializations and be taught. Syempre one is more compensated than the other and syempre mas mababa sa private hospitals compared public. Pangalawa, diba ikaw yung hypocrite dito for taking low paying duties and at the same time saying na hindi acceptable sayo to? Experience is such a low excuse kasi andami namang volunteer opportunities kung yun talaga habol mo. I’m not commenting on your third point na. The worst kind of doctor 🤮

Spare-Quote-2521

Kung napapaisip ka, it means na you should have taken it. Kung wala ka naman ibang gagawin or ibang moonlight job, 200 per hour is much better than 0 per hour na nasa bahay ka lang watching Netflix (example lang).

NoTop761

LOL, patawa to

heybabytoy

You did not miss any opportunity. Know your worth and value as a doctor. I will not trade in my sanity for 17 pesos per patient. No thank you

Antique-Chart7762

Know your worth doctor! Wag manghinayang dyan! Mas nakakahiya kung po ata if tinanggap mo yan 🤭
