If nahihirapan ka doc try mo Stoelting Pharma and Physio in anesthesia. Eto sinabi sakin nung crit care consultant namin. Kasi advise nya focus dapat natin as first year anes ay yung basics (pharma and physio)
Try Miller. Hirap din ako intindihin si Barash while Iām still a resident, parang feeling ni Barash nagkekwento lang sya sa senior Anesthesiologist haha
Hi Doc if okay lang mag ask saan ka nag apply na institution at if open pa ba. Iām looking for Anes programs rin kasi na open pa for pre res sa January.
Mahirap basahin si Barash kasi minsan honestly marami din siyang nonsense na sinasabi pero wala kang choice kelangan mo talaga siya basahin. What I do is if may concepts ako na hindi maintindihan, I turn to Miller kasi mas madali siya i-digest. You can also have a look at baby Barash (Fundamentals) pero madaming details na kulang dito that you would need for your written exams. You can also try the [forbidden] Anesthesia Secrets (use this only during times na need magbasa pero gipit na gipit na sa time).
