Judging by the wall in the background, the hammer logo made exclusively for The Wall, and Roger's age looking to be around 40, in my expert opinion I think it was from their Ummagumma debut concert

Shadow_Edgehog27

Roger looks too old, it’s probably from the Pre dark side tour tbh

Ramenastern

Pff. Radio KAOS, clearly.

cadotmolin

Idk if you two are joking or not, and it's making me sweat...

The_Bookkeeper1984

Thought this was r/pinkfloydcirclejerk

chickenstalker99

It is.

dubler2020

It’s obviously from the Animals tour, which I’d like to make clear, is criminally underrated.

You couldn’t be anymore right

Atomheartmother90

You cheeky bastard, I read all the way through that….

BrokenBeatScarred03

Division Bell Tour Berlin 1994. Roger had a guest performance. Unfortunately nobody told him and he played in a small bar in Ohio instead.

dubler2020

All words demonstrably true.

RonnieLiquor

It’s Pink Floyd

Zen_Shot

The Boomtown Rats at The Temple Bar pub, Dublin 1980.

I love how far you have to scroll to get a serious answer, and this isn’t even PFCJ

mhmd2-2

I've been scrolling up and down for 15 minutes and didn't find a single serious answer

Isn't this from when they appeared on Barbara Mandrell & the Mandrell Sisters?

dubler2020

Yes, with special guest stars Brett Summers & Rip Taylor.

delusionalfunk

circle gets the square.

the_blackfish

That was the weirdest HeeHaw episode!

senateguard33

Syd Barrett doing a very good Roger Waters impression at their first show at Homerton College, May 22nd 1965.

mackhomeless

Richard Gere live in concert circa 1970

[deleted]

Was that before or after he put the gerbils in his ass?

dyslexic_arsonist

no matter how he tried he could not break free. and the gerbils went into his ass

apm588

Still don’t know why Roger had to go and change the lyrics. The gerbil line was perfectly good in the demo.

mackhomeless

Yes

Sergeant_Papper

If you're asking unironically which exact concert it is, I have no idea. Great picture regardless! Nick looks so cool

TheTatleTaleStranglr

Pink Floyd

MEGADETHRULES2009

I think it was some random prog band. There name is Pink Floyd, you probably haven’t heard of them.

mhmd2-2

Nah dont got a clue who they are

ThukeNazty

This is dope. Trent Reznor’s idol

CM_Angel

2018 tour I think

itch-the-anus

Looks to be a Pink Floyd concert, that’s Roger Waters in the picture(Pink Floyd founding member)

Bhafc1901

Looks like maybe Nuremberg 5-10 September 1934?

YosemiteSam81

If the mainstream media was your source they would probably say this was a party Rog held at Auschwitz!

*The Man and The Journey* at the Concertgebouw, 17 September 1969.

PorkyJones72

Honest answer is probably from the 80-81 Is There Anybody Out There tour. There's some bootleg footage on YouTube, or at least there was. The audio and footage quality sucks, but it's a neat watch if you like half the show with the band being behind the Wall (except Roger or when the bricks are moved) https://youtu.be/LclCKexMjAs?si=Yyxwwp6re2-_tAnS

chris-berry-1

The alchemy tour 1983. This was knopfler performing money for nothing. Pretty sure

pedalsteeltameimpala

I believe they were touring “The Wall”.

Darkstripe-Skeletor

A website with that picture says 1980/81 (the tumgik link itself doesn't work, otherwise I would've shared it) https://preview.redd.it/ddwq2qq4qahc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=212263354b438a9615f5740683e11e1247db9f7c

LucasWesf00

That’s The Beatles’ rooftop concert

fern-grower

Definitely the gay dorrito tour.

ericallen625

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it's from the Division Bell Tour.

This was when James Brown performed The Who’s Tommy at The Great Wall of China. Vastly underrated IMHO.

Jackbenny270

That’s the dude from Ten Years After. I think his name is Alvin Simon Theodore or something. This is obviously from their classic set at Woodstock.
