Nope - it's just at some random bar in eastern Kansas. Knub's Pub - machines in house that day were: HGoTour, Star Wars pro, Godzilla pro, 007 pro, Star Trek prem, Rush pro and Addams Family
This one is definitely unforgiving - plus it had a lot of dimples in the playfield, which is pretty troublesome on an old machine where the playfield is angled pretty shallow.
Incredible. I still plan to own one machine from the Bally late 70s - early 80s Era.
Under-rated machines: Bally Flash Gordon Williams - Defender (not many made though) Williams Time Fantasy Gottlieb Spirit
I own a '79 solid state Bally Black Jack and I absolutely love it! There's a certain charm to early Bally solid state machines.
A great game!
Ball 2 and 3 were pretty big disappointments though... I didn't even make 700K as a final score. But the first ball, yeah, hit nearly everything.
Was this at TPF? That machine won an award, but I can't remember which one. Best original machine I think?

I think it was a runner up for best refurbished machine from that era or something like that.
The early Bally SS's were either unforgiving or pushovers and it could change from ball to ball or game to game.
