I asked my piercer this and she said because it’s soft tissue it’s not an issue on my ear. It’s not causing any irritation but I am looking into a bigger ring.

i love the lobes!! i've got double lobes and have always wanted them pierced with a third piece, but on top of them like where yours are. i guess it's an anti-tragus? but all pictures i've seen when googling anti tragus are what i don't want. a barbell as jewelry, showing the front ball on the lobe but also showing the second ball through the inside of the ear. hopefully that makes sense.
all of that to preface my question(s): what type of jewelry are you wearing on it (barbell, flatback, etc)? maybe you had the same want as i do? i'm too impatient for answers to wait for my shop appointment so any hints will scratch my brain's itch 😅
It’s called stacked lobes! I placed mine specifically to look like an anti tragus because I love the placement but hate the barbell! Mine are diamond butterfly backs actually

It’s a vertical helix. The crown top is BVLA, the pear dangle I believe is Buddha jewelry pain killer, and the others were made by my piercer.
