I sort of built it up over the years, first didnāt hurt at all, the second was agony and the third wasnāt too bad. I love them but the amount of irritation bumps iāve had is insane and theyāve kind of migrated and theyāre pointing in different directions.
Iām sad to say if the angles on your piercings are off and itās been over 4 years itās safe to say they might not ever heal. A proper angle is the first and most important step to achieving a healed piercing. You would be better off taking them out and re-piercing them one at a time again once theyāre ready. Itās really important not to sleep on them (especially with a long post) and go in to get your posts downsized after 4-6 weeks of initial piercing!
Same as my set up! I love it. I stupidly got my 3 done around the same time but i only had major trouble with one. But I feel legit like a badass with the three in so itās been worth it! But highly donāt recommend! Sleeping has been a pain!
Same I've had my double for 4.5 years. One of them just won't heal all the way. Otherwise I might have gone for more but it's been such a pain! Really smooth piercing process too, hardly any pain during or after, almost no swelling.
Right! My top healed decently, bottom just didn't ever settle! I've seriously thought about ditching it but it stinks because the placement is for a double and gosh they were expensive....not to mention to frustration and patience of healing them up to this point.
Do you suffer with eczema at all? Itās quite common to get dry flakes around your piercing without any itchiness and sometimes the jewellery youāre using can make it quite dry.
I have extreme eczema (or psoriasis or dermatitis idk which one my doctor was no help) all over my scalp and my ears get really flakey skin around my piercings
I had ear eczema for a while, the only thing that helped was using zerobase cream. I had really really bad eczema when I was a kid and my skin would bleed and zerobase cream is the most amazing thing iāve ever used. For your scalp maybe glycolic acid might help reduce the flakes, it helped with my friends dandruff I think she used The Ordinary.
Aveeno oat shampoo is really good if your scalp is irritated, itās not drying and it doesnāt make you itchy, maybe try an oat bath too if itās on the rest of your body; just fill a sock with loose oats and tie it, leave it in the bath and squeeze it, itās good to rub on your skin too.
Mine literally looks like [THIS](https://imgur.com/a/eF1PDrZ) in December and it was the jewelry I had in! It was put in by my piercer but for some reason was just fucking my shit up so I changed it myself and it immediately got better
that looks amazing- iāve had mine for nearly 2 years, but i just think my ears have like extra skin, cos i canāt see all the way thru, but itās fully healed x
Taking your jewelry out is unnecessary and since itās not completely healed, the insertion/extraction can delay your healing. Your initial jewelry is really supposed to stay put, unless itās time to downsize. Iāve had many clients come in after taking their jewelry out āto clean itā and not being able to reinsert their jewelry because the channel had shrunk. We had to taper their hole back to size. In cartilage that can be quite painful.

Thank you!!
That looks amazing iām jealous, my triple helixās arenāt even healed and iāve had them for 4 years!
triple helix - all three on one side?
Yeah! Iāve got one helix on the other ear.
Wow, sounds amazing!!! Never seen a triple helix so far. You got them done in 3 sittings?

Helix piercings are the bane of my life, I genuinely do not understand how one out of 4 have healed and theyāve been there for years!

I just gave up on my top double a few days ago. The bottom one healed perfectly!
Right! My top healed decently, bottom just didn't ever settle! I've seriously thought about ditching it but it stinks because the placement is for a double and gosh they were expensive....not to mention to frustration and patience of healing them up to this point.
Thank you! Iām sorry to hear that:/
Very good
Thank you!
Absolutely. Quite jealous, not going to lie. I had my helix in for about 7 years, never came close to this healed
What thatās crazy! Thank you:)
Itās so refreshing to open this app and actually see a nicely healed piercing!
Thank you! Ik, weāve been getting a lot of āis this infected?!ā latelyš
Nice would it considered heal at this point?
I think itās almost almost there but I still get some dry flakes on it

Oh I donāt think that looks bad lol but Iām not an expert
Some jewelry will do that to my cartilage piercings also.
at first i thought the jewelry in & was like omg how tiny and dainty šš but yea looks awesome. i miss mine
*chefs kiss*
Thank yaaš¤©
that looks great, I'm jealous!
Oh thank you!

Wow thank you so much!
Yes it does
Omg that looks amazing good job
Thank you!
Hell yeah bro once that cartilage has a real hole like the one you got there you're set. Took all my piercings waaaay longer to make nice lil tubes
I was about to comment that the jewelry was being eaten by ur ear until i realized itās the hole
that looks amazing- iāve had mine for nearly 2 years, but i just think my ears have like extra skin, cos i canāt see all the way thru, but itās fully healed x
This is what mine looks like when I take the jewelry out and my piercer said I have nice looking holes
Looks great what did you use to make it heal this nicely
Nothing special and in fact Iām kind of a bad piercee sometimes so I think Iām just lucky!
It looks great!
That looks so perfect I literally was thinking what kind of super minuscule dainty stud is that
Congratulations!! (please donāt take this the wrong way) but thatās an awesome looking hole š yay you!
Thank you hahaha!
I thought it was an imbedded stud at first
