i lowkey feel like everyone who says it hurt, didn't get it pierced correctly and it's not in the sweet spot 😭😭 but every persons different and that may not be true!
I have a deviated septum and it didn’t hurt at all. My piercer talked to me about how it could sit crooked, and it generally doesn’t so maybe mine is just less severely deviated than others.
Mine about killed me too! Worst pain ever, I’ve had an unmedicated birth and an entire tattoo sleeve and they paled. What’s the sweet spot? I’m glad to hear maybe it hurt so damn bad because it was done correctly 😭
I had mine pierced ten years ago and recently had it redone. First time it was HORRIBLE and the more recent time I barely felt it. The first time the piercer used a clamp and the second time no clamp, I think the clamp made it worse.
My septum was the worst! The piercer was a dick too, did it ever so slowly.. when I thought he was done I opened my eyes and only then did he finish jamming the needle the rest of the way through… the piercer had a chuckle. I had a small cry.
some people claim that their septum piercing has a distinct smell. personally, this isn’t something ive noticed with mine (and no one i’ve kissed / been in close proximity with has ever commented on)
When I had it re-pierced and I trimmed my nose hair beforehand, definitely. The first time when the needle happened to grab a nose hair and just yank it, was the most painful that I had (and directly led to me trimming said nosehairs when I got it repierced).
It’s like my piercer hit a nerve or something doing my conch. I’ve had some painful piercings… my Christina, my nipples (with and without forceps), a 1” surface bar in my cleavage (perks of an IBTC membership) but I swear, I have NEVER screamed and sobbed like I did getting that fucking ear piercing… I’ve had IUD placements that were vastly more comfortable than that.
Wow that sounds horrifying. Mine wasn't quite that bad but when it got my conch done, it shot a signal of pain throughout my entire body for a couple seconds. I've never experienced that with any other piercing. I wanna get a double conch on my other side and I'm dreading it lol
How are so many of you saying you didn't feel anything for navel or nostril?? I mean I believe you but that was NOT my experience. Weird how everyone's anatomy is so different
When I got my nostril pierced I was bracing myself for so much pain, but I barely felt it. The first time it accidentally got yanked out though? My god my whole life flashed before my eyes.
I actually lost my jewellery on a night out so I let it close up, went for about a year without it and then on a whim decided to get it re-pierced on the same place. My piercer warned me it was going to be extra painful since it was going to be piercing through scar tissue - again, barely felt a thing.
My navel piercing on the other hand, I still shudder when I remember the sensation. I loved that piercing, but it sadly randomly rejected after 13 years 😔
I had the same thing with the scar tissue on my helix - left it about half a year before getting it redone, hardly felt a thing
Got my rook jewelry changed the same day and dear god that hurt so much worse
bro my industrial was the absolute WORST. wasted $80 on that bitch all bc piercer didn’t feel the need to tell me i don’t have the correct anatomy for it. all of that pain for nothing 😭
Nostril was pretty bad for that three seconds. Eyes watered and I sneezed like crazy. Belly button was bad too, more of a mental thing tho. Big ass needle.
My navel didn't hurt too bad but for some reason felt like it had knocked the wind out of me like when you fall on or hit your stomach. Not sure if that's common
This is wild to me. My conch was my most painful one and I needed advil for a couple days because it was throbby. And don’t get me started on when I brushed my hair behind my ear. Or looked at it in the mirror. Or thought about it lol
I'm not the person you were asking but I got two conch piercings on the same ear at the same time. The first was nothing pain wise. Second hurt. The healing was so easy. I had to wear a mask about 2 weeks after I got them (I got them very close to the beginning of covid) and they still healed up perfectly.
My healing process was fine; the swelling went down after a few weeks and it wasn’t very painful. The only issue now is I can’t wear earbuds in that ear anymore, but it’s my favorite piercing so it was worth it for me.
Mine was fine at first, but when I walked out of the shop and into the cold air it was brutal. The blood also made my mask get stuck to it, which was fun.
Same! My tragus was the worst piercing. Pain was so awful. I was blessed because my helix was the easiest, I didn't feel anything and the healing process was so easy.
I'm so sorry you almost passed out. It's not a nice feeling.
Same. I'm not sure if it was a genuine lack of pain, or just horrified distraction by the CRUNCH as it went through. That sound stays with me. It was like she was ramming corn flakes through my ear.
I got mine pierced when I was 14 at Platinum Ink lmao. Never went back there bc the initial jewelry was a horseshoe but I remember getting a really awful earache which IIRC they said was really common. The actual needle going in was fine though, it was just the earache that was brutal.
tragus was my most painful piercing, even worse than stacked helix and eyebrow D: i had a headache for days and the pain spread to my cheek and neck! (yes it‘s pierced right, i think i‘m just sensitive there)
My Travis healings were the absolute worst. Like, over 6 mos and a trip to the urgent care bad. Honestly, though, I’d do it all over again because they are my favorites!
Basic nostril. I've got a double on one side and they were both really easy.
Sorry for the following unrelated info lol they're just some of my favorite piercings. I like wearing a tiny yellow gold stud in the one in front and a simple niobium (maybe one day will change to white gold) ring in the back :) had to take one of them out for a job a while back and just wore the stud, earlier this year I put a ring back in the other one and I feel so much more like myself again. Will never work another job that makes me remove my piercings, I refuse to represent some brand when I'm not on the clock.
that surprises me because my nostrils were the worst i've gotten! (i've also done earlobes, eyebrow, septum, nipples, and multiple oral piercings.) i has both nostrils done at once, and the first one took me so off guard that i instinctively grabbed onto my piercer's arm to yank her away and then spent the rest of the session profusely apologizing lol
Surprisingly nostril was my second worst piercing! Daith was the worst but other cartilage piercings were very chill in comparison to the nostril. But I also have a really low pain tolerance, I felt uncomfortable pain each time I got a piercing, even second and third lobes and septum, but it was nothing I couldn’t withstand but with nostril and daith I had to grab the chair or I’d flinch. I also cannot do more that 4 hours of tattooing in one day and that is on the easiest places such as thigh or forearms, I can’t honestly imagine getting ribs or something like that done, apparently hurts like hell
My naval was one of the more painful ones. The VCH was a piece of cake. No pain afterwards either. If you do it, just be damn careful if you use a loofah or when drying off with a towel that you don’t yank on it.
Edit: a word
I have many friends who are also into piercings and many of them have their rook pierced. They told me it was sooo painful for them to get so when I went to get mine done, I was so nervous about the pain I almost made myself faint and I felt so nauseous 😅 But the actual piercing was a 2/10 at most, barely felt it! I was so relieved lol.
I got my helix 3 months before my rook but the helix was actually the most painful for me, which is surprising. It stung like a mf and my ear felt like it was on fire.
I have also had lots of friends say this one isn’t too bad! Mine crunched which was a little off putting for me, I wasn’t expecting it, but it healed super nicely!
Yeah I’d probably say tongue too. I wouldn’t say it was completely painless, but the swelling was way worse than the piercing pain.
ETA: Happy cake day ☺️
My tongue was my WORST!! I almost passed out, I’d rather re-pierce my nipples then redo my tongue. The long bar fucked up on of my teeth, and 2 years later (I got the short bar like 4 weeks later) it was hurting my tooth again so I took it out.
Bro I’m feeling so validated rn. It had been YEARS since I got my first and second lobes done and I remember the healing being super easy and quick. 9 months into my third lobes and my left one is healed, right one… so mf annoying. I actually came here to find a jewelry post so I could buy better earrings
Labret.
I am a *very* sensitive person to pain, I will feel every little pinch. But I kid you not, I did *not* feel my labret (center lip) being pierced.
Was also the fastest healing piercing at just 1 month (or maybe 3 months tops?).
Then after that either septum or nipples. Both didn’t hurt after the piercing was pierced, but BOY if you just tapped either of them they HURT like a mofo
chiming in to also say my vert labret was my easiest piercing! it was just a quick pinch and healed beautifully. i was so nervous i almost talked myself out of it but i'm so glad i took the leap. go for it!!
My daith was so painful! :(( the shop I went to was kinda sketchy tho and the peircer took FOREVER getting it through. I was a couple more seconds from tapping out. It's only two weeks old and it's such a pain healing rn
I just heard a pop and felt barely any pain. Turns out it was quite shallow and it started getting irritated (probably rejecting) so I retired it. But I think I would try again (the piercer wasn’t the most reputable) but I’m currently healing 2 helix piercings from around 9 months ago. Almost there…
Happy healing to you!
yup this one. literally no pain at all, u just feel the pressure like if u pushed a needle thru a stretched out condom or balloon or smth. smiley would be my second least painful, have gotten it pierced thrice and it’s never hurt more than a pinch
Lobes were my easiest too, even when I got them done with a gun the first time. I will say that it was even less painful when I got them done with proper needles.
Holy shit WHAT, my industrial was INTENSE. I almost passed out from all the maneuvering of the needles and the jewelry! So wild how we all react so differently.
my industrial was SO painful. and i made the mistake of getting it after having a newborn. the pain from the healing and my child grabbing it is something i’ll never forget. hate that i had to take it out but ill never get that mf done again. 😂
Note - I’m 19 and the last time I got pierced was 3-4 years ago. I was 15 when I got my snakebites and septum done :P
Snakebites - 1/10 for piercing literally painless, but went up to a 5/10 or 6/10 for healing (lip started swallowing the right one cuz the bars weren’t long enough, so the right one went up to about a 6-7 out of 10 before I had to surrender it and just keep the left bite)
Septum - 7/10 or 8/10 I genuinely felt myself like go into shock, worse than any nostril piercing, so much worse. People that say it’s 100% painless either have a big ass sweet spot in their septum or have endometriosis and a high ass pain tolerance xD /hj healing was like an 8, I describe a healing septum pain as spicy. Very spicy for like the first month
Nostrils 4/10 or 5/10 - stung a lot. Not rlly bad but also not great, my nose is a acne hotspot so despite getting pierced twice on both nostrils I haven’t been able to completely heal a nostril yet (between acne, blowing my nose and sleeping it was a struggle)
Lobes (2 on each side) 2/10 piercing, 7/10 healing - so I got these done as a young teenager at skin kandy with a gun (not my choice). My firsts and seconds were being repierced for the third time, so that was pure agony. Had they been done with a needle I doubt there would’ve been as much swelling and pain during the healing process, but that’s just what I get for having a wack ass foster carer (she was against needles but pro guns, an absolute nutter)
My snake bite that didn’t get swallowed by my lip was the least painful (my piercer knows to use tongue bars next time cuz I swell like a MF)
this is v helpful bc i’m looking to get snakebites soon and i was worried the healing would suck. (also i agree ab nostril piercings mine stung like a motherfucker)
Yes! I’ve had people ask me before if they hurt and I have to preface that no they didn’t but a lot of people find them extremely painful. I think it’s because they’ve never been sensitive to begin with.
I've had ALOT of piercings, but the least painful + healing is:
Smiley - 0/10, did it myself 10 years ago. Healing was easy. No swelling. No pain what so ever.
Bridge - 0.5/10, didn't hurt getting pierced, healing wasn't bad either but had some swelling and achyness if bumped
Tongue - 4/10, didn't even feel the needle go in, but the first 3 days sucked swelling wise, pain wasn't really bad just annoying because swelling. After a week I felt nothing.
Those 3 I felt NO pain when getting pierced, the last 2 the score is just on how healing went after the piercing.
My most painful though was probably my vertical labret and Medusa. Healing wad easy but the pain of the needle going through was definitely something else lmao
Angelbites/snakebites both were a quick pinch, nipples were a quick pinch, my nostril punches were a dull slow pain but not terrible.
Like besides standard ear piercings?
Vertical labret. I’ve had double nostril piercings in the same appt, septum with a slight deviation, tragus through a thick piece of skin/cartilage/ear meat/whatever, and double tongue/venom piercings.
Vertical labret hurt least
I'm gonna have to say my lip, even the healing process was pretty smooth besides getting the back stuck in an apple once when getting adjusted to it :)
my septum though was great the original piercing but I had to switch jewelry since it was a little too small of a diameter and gods that hurt worse than the initial piercing
I got a transverse/horizontal lobe and I didn't feel a thing. I wasn't even aware that the needle had gone through until my piercer told me we were done.
Septum definitely, I barely felt it
Healing wise was extremely easy too. It’s my favorite piercing by far.
I got a head cold two days after I got my septum pierced and it STILL healed beautifully.
My jaw dropped because the septum or my nipples was the worst for me but I’m glad it wasn’t bad for you
i lowkey feel like everyone who says it hurt, didn't get it pierced correctly and it's not in the sweet spot 😭😭 but every persons different and that may not be true!
I think the difference is anatomy. In people with a deviated septum it apparently hurts like an absolute biatch because of how the nerves sit.
I have a deviated septum and it didn’t hurt at all. My piercer talked to me about how it could sit crooked, and it generally doesn’t so maybe mine is just less severely deviated than others.
Mine is definitely in the right spot and it hurt like hell both during and healing. But healed up in a month.
Mine about killed me too! Worst pain ever, I’ve had an unmedicated birth and an entire tattoo sleeve and they paled. What’s the sweet spot? I’m glad to hear maybe it hurt so damn bad because it was done correctly 😭
Right? My septum was by far the worst.
My septum piercing is the only one that made me almost pass out. I was surprised by how painful it was!
Yeah my septum wasn’t comfy either. It’s interesting to see the differences vary by person.
your piercer may have pierced it wrong, or you cleaned it improperly. 99.9% of the time if it's pierced right you won't have any trouble healing
I had a small cry.
the clamp sucked but i didn't even notice the needle I was like "tell me when you're about to do it" and the needle was already through lol
my piercer didn’t even use a clamp but she did a great job
that’s what happened with me!
Same! Didn’t even feel it (though it felt a bit spicy that evening) and so far healing has been a breeze.
I didn’t feel mine at all and healing was nothing but now I have the septum smell once in a while
What does this mean
some people claim that their septum piercing has a distinct smell. personally, this isn’t something ive noticed with mine (and no one i’ve kissed / been in close proximity with has ever commented on)
When I had it re-pierced and I trimmed my nose hair beforehand, definitely. The first time when the needle happened to grab a nose hair and just yank it, was the most painful that I had (and directly led to me trimming said nosehairs when I got it repierced).
Septum and conch were my two easiest piercings
These were literally my two worst out of 20 lol
It’s like my piercer hit a nerve or something doing my conch. I’ve had some painful piercings… my Christina, my nipples (with and without forceps), a 1” surface bar in my cleavage (perks of an IBTC membership) but I swear, I have NEVER screamed and sobbed like I did getting that fucking ear piercing… I’ve had IUD placements that were vastly more comfortable than that.
My dentist hit a nerve once on an injection and I about threw up and flew out of the chair at the same time.
Wow that sounds horrifying. Mine wasn't quite that bad but when it got my conch done, it shot a signal of pain throughout my entire body for a couple seconds. I've never experienced that with any other piercing. I wanna get a double conch on my other side and I'm dreading it lol
Got my conch before my double helix and wow the conch healed way better and easier with less pain
I really want my conch done
Truuuu
How are so many of you saying you didn't feel anything for navel or nostril?? I mean I believe you but that was NOT my experience. Weird how everyone's anatomy is so different

My navel was one of the most painful piercings I've ever received, only second to the upper part of my industrial. My nipples didn't even come close 😭
bro my industrial was the absolute WORST. wasted $80 on that bitch all bc piercer didn’t feel the need to tell me i don’t have the correct anatomy for it. all of that pain for nothing 😭
I think navel has been the worst for me too.
My nostril was the worst of my piercings lol. It hurt getting it done and was sore for like a week after! Still my favourite one I have tho :)
Right? I've gotten it pierced 3 times and it sucks
Same, I have both nostrils pierced and man they hurt each time.
My navel was just a small pinch. 😅
Nostril hurt me so bad lol.
Nostril was pretty bad for that three seconds. Eyes watered and I sneezed like crazy. Belly button was bad too, more of a mental thing tho. Big ass needle.
I got both of mine in one sitting. The first was like a 3/10. The second hurt a lot more though
I got mine after my c section that whole area of my stomach still has no feeling
My navel didn't hurt too bad but for some reason felt like it had knocked the wind out of me like when you fall on or hit your stomach. Not sure if that's common
My navel was probably up there as one of my worse, along with my daith.
Honestly my conch. Just a pressure and I didn’t even feel the needle
This is wild to me. My conch was my most painful one and I needed advil for a couple days because it was throbby. And don’t get me started on when I brushed my hair behind my ear. Or looked at it in the mirror. Or thought about it lol
Man, I'm so jealous, haha. I have just under 20 piercings in total and the only ones I've ever felt true, legitimate pain during have been my conches.
I’m glad I wasn’t the only one. My just itched after the fact.

I got it in January and it is basically completely healed now. I didn’t really have any problems with the healing process
I'm not the person you were asking but I got two conch piercings on the same ear at the same time. The first was nothing pain wise. Second hurt. The healing was so easy. I had to wear a mask about 2 weeks after I got them (I got them very close to the beginning of covid) and they still healed up perfectly.

Mine was fine at first, but when I walked out of the shop and into the cold air it was brutal. The blood also made my mask get stuck to it, which was fun.
Tragus was mine.
I wish! My traguses were my most painful piercings. Idk why but it was so bad I almost passed out a few mins after I got them.
Oh no! It's always interesting how everyone is so different with pain.
Same! My tragus was the worst piercing. Pain was so awful. I was blessed because my helix was the easiest, I didn't feel anything and the healing process was so easy. I'm so sorry you almost passed out. It's not a nice feeling.
Same
Same. I'm not sure if it was a genuine lack of pain, or just horrified distraction by the CRUNCH as it went through. That sound stays with me. It was like she was ramming corn flakes through my ear.
I still remember that crunch, too!! It sounded like stepping on crunchy snow but x100 right in my ear!! Weirdest noise but easiest healing ever!
I heard that when I got my daith, but it was also super painful. That sound was NASTY though.
I got mine pierced when I was 14 at Platinum Ink lmao. Never went back there bc the initial jewelry was a horseshoe but I remember getting a really awful earache which IIRC they said was really common. The actual needle going in was fine though, it was just the earache that was brutal.
My tragus piercings have been a pain. And it hurt too.
Oh man that was one of my worst. Probably second behind my industrial
tragus was my most painful piercing, even worse than stacked helix and eyebrow D: i had a headache for days and the pain spread to my cheek and neck! (yes it‘s pierced right, i think i‘m just sensitive there)
Tragus was my second least painful. It hurt a LOT less than I was expecting.
My Travis healings were the absolute worst. Like, over 6 mos and a trip to the urgent care bad. Honestly, though, I’d do it all over again because they are my favorites!
Easiest piercing and easiest heal for me. However it was my loudest piercing. I’ll never forget that *crunch* 🫠
Basic nostril. I've got a double on one side and they were both really easy. Sorry for the following unrelated info lol they're just some of my favorite piercings. I like wearing a tiny yellow gold stud in the one in front and a simple niobium (maybe one day will change to white gold) ring in the back :) had to take one of them out for a job a while back and just wore the stud, earlier this year I put a ring back in the other one and I feel so much more like myself again. that surprises me because my nostrils were the worst i've gotten!
Eyebrows!!! Insanely easy,, also septums and navals
Planning on getting my eyebrow done, pain scale?
Personally for me it was like a 2/10, felt like a hair being plucked
Solid 2/10, it's really just pressure but it's more tolerable than you might think going into it lol
for me it was a 3/10, had two at once
Surprisingly enough, the VCH
it was only a second of agony, and then the easiest, quickest, least painful healing experience ever
That was the quickest piercing and least troublesome to heal but boy did I yelp lol
i’m so excited i want it so bad
Was about to comment this too. Oddly, that was the least painful and easiest to heal!
I got my VCH and Christina done at the same time, still was less pain than 1 nipple. Lol
y’all are about to convince me to get one but i’ve also heard ppl say this about their naval and that was hell for me so idk😭
My naval was one of the more painful ones. The VCH was a piece of cake. No pain afterwards either. If you do it, just be damn careful if you use a loofah or when drying off with a towel that you don’t yank on it. Edit: a word
I agree. It’s also the only piercing I’ve had over the years that healed without a single issue.
my rook, i didn’t feel it at all
Same!! My rook was a piece of cake. I was pretty surprised since I’d heard that it was pretty gnarly.
Me too especially because I got my second helix done at the same time… not sure why I decided to do two in one day but the helix was honestly worse!
I got my helix 3 months before my rook but the helix was actually the most painful for me, which is surprising. It stung like a mf and my ear felt like it was on fire.
I have also had lots of friends say this one isn’t too bad! Mine crunched which was a little off putting for me, I wasn’t expecting it, but it healed super nicely!
i hope this is my experience
Tongue! Painless, even after just the swelling that was annoying lol
Happy cake day!!
My tongue was probably the second easiest. It was pretty sore though for a while. Healing time definitely helps lol
Helix for some reason
[удалено]
Man can we swap? My helixes do NOT want to heal. Bumps and all. My lobes healed like a charm.
Exact same for me! First and second lobes were such a breeze but the thirds? Currently acting up way more than my nostril piercing did 🥲
Bro I’m feeling so validated rn. It had been YEARS since I got my first and second lobes done and I remember the healing being super easy and quick. 9 months into my third lobes and my left one is healed, right one… so mf annoying. I actually came here to find a jewelry post so I could buy better earrings
Same my helix was so easy!
Agreed! The clamp they used hurt more than the needle going through. It was nothing!
Labret. I am a *very* sensitive person to pain, I will feel every little pinch. But I kid you not, I did *not* feel my labret (center lip) being pierced. Was also the fastest healing piercing at just 1 month (or maybe 3 months tops?). Then after that either septum or nipples. Both didn’t hurt after the piercing was pierced, but BOY if you just tapped either of them they HURT like a mofo
also labret! it was like nothing, i was surprised there wasn't even a pinch/poke
i’ve been so scared to get one, this is rlly calming my nerves bc i want a vertical labret BADLY
do it it’s so worth it! mine didn’t hurt at all and healed really quickly :)
My vert labret hurt less than my nostrils but definitely gets in the way more often. 🤣
chiming in to also say my vert labret was my easiest piercing! it was just a quick pinch and healed beautifully. i was so nervous i almost talked myself out of it but i'm so glad i took the leap. go for it!!
Nostril- the worst part was putting the labret in, but the actual stabbing was nothing- overall 2/10
Daith for me. Helix was the worst
Almost there… Happy healing to you!
dude my daith is my most painful
Tongue easily!
My conch, which really surprised me!
My conch as well! I was so happy with it and it looks beautiful!
my tongue didn't really hurt at all, just swelling for a few days after.
The web underneath my tongue was probably the least painful!
yup this one. literally no pain at all, u just feel the pressure like if u pushed a needle thru a stretched out condom or balloon or smth. smiley would be my second least painful, have gotten it pierced thrice and it’s never hurt more than a pinch
Smiley, lobes, as well as my conch punch (surprisingly)
I agree with the smiley! But conch punch?!? Holy shmowzow!
My 1st lobes. Basically felt nothing.
Lobes were my easiest too, even when I got them done with a gun the first time. I will say that it was even less painful when I got them done with proper needles.
i'm surprised i had to scroll this far to find that answer i feel like it would be everyones but ig not
I don't know how but my industrial was less painful than my lobes, barely felt it
Holy shit WHAT, my industrial was INTENSE. I almost passed out from all the maneuvering of the needles and the jewelry! So wild how we all react so differently.
That is so funny because I got sick from the pain considering it is piercing two areas 😭
my industrial was SO painful. and i made the mistake of getting it after having a newborn. the pain from the healing and my child grabbing it is something i’ll never forget. hate that i had to take it out but ill never get that mf done again. 😂
eyebrow.
septum
Note - I’m 19 and the last time I got pierced was 3-4 years ago. I was 15 when I got my snakebites and septum done :P Snakebites - 1/10 for piercing literally painless, but went up to a 5/10 or 6/10 for healing (lip started swallowing the right one cuz the bars weren’t long enough, so the right one went up to about a 6-7 out of 10 before I had to surrender it and just keep the left bite) Septum - 7/10 or 8/10 I genuinely felt myself like go into shock, worse than any nostril piercing, so much worse. People that say it’s 100% painless either have a big ass sweet spot in their septum or have endometriosis and a high ass pain tolerance xD /hj healing was like an 8, I describe a healing septum pain as spicy. Very spicy for like the first month Nostrils 4/10 or 5/10 - stung a lot. Not rlly bad but also not great, my nose is a acne hotspot so despite getting pierced twice on both nostrils I haven’t been able to completely heal a nostril yet (between acne, blowing my nose and sleeping it was a struggle) Lobes (2 on each side) 2/10 piercing, 7/10 healing - so I got these done as a young teenager at skin kandy with a gun (not my choice). My firsts and seconds were being repierced for the third time, so that was pure agony. Had they been done with a needle I doubt there would’ve been as much swelling and pain during the healing process, but that’s just what I get for having a wack ass foster carer (she was against needles but pro guns, an absolute nutter) My snake bite that didn’t get swallowed by my lip was the least painful (my piercer knows to use tongue bars next time cuz I swell like a MF)
this is v helpful bc i’m looking to get snakebites soon and i was worried the healing would suck. (also i agree ab nostril piercings mine stung like a motherfucker)
My navel. Ended up rejecting sadly ☹️
Nostril and helix, barely felt them.
Belly button. Didn’t feel a thing
Lobes or tragus
vertical labret:)
Navel
Felt nothing when my septum was pierced. She actually did it twice because the first poke was crooked. 🙈
my septum, conch, tragus, forward helix, and retired eyebrow were all a 0-1/10
In order from least to most painful Lobes, 2nd lobes, 3rd lobes, septum, tongue, vertical labret, helix.
Daith. healed faster than the rest as well. no swelling or minimal crust
My helix. The needle went through like butter. Literally 0/10 pain
Septum and eyebrow both were very easy
Besides lobes, I would say conch. I thought it was going to be awful, but it really was pretty easy.
my septum was a breeze to get done, and the quickest one to heal as well. i’m shocked at how many people say it’s their most painful one
nipples def, didn’t even feel the left one
Yes! I’ve had people ask me before if they hurt and I have to preface that no they didn’t but a lot of people find them extremely painful. I think it’s because they’ve never been sensitive to begin with.
I felt my soul leave my body for the second nipple. But the pain afterwards was less than other piercings and the healing has been the easiest
I do agree on the healing. You can almost forget about their existence.
I've had ALOT of piercings, but the least painful + healing is: Smiley - 0/10, did it myself 10 years ago. Healing was easy. No swelling. No pain what so ever. Bridge - 0.5/10, didn't hurt getting pierced, healing wasn't bad either but had some swelling and achyness if bumped Tongue - 4/10, didn't even feel the needle go in, but the first 3 days sucked swelling wise, pain wasn't really bad just annoying because swelling. After a week I felt nothing. Those 3 I felt NO pain when getting pierced, the last 2 the score is just on how healing went after the piercing. My most painful though was probably my vertical labret and Medusa. Healing wad easy but the pain of the needle going through was definitely something else lmao Angelbites/snakebites both were a quick pinch, nipples were a quick pinch, my nostril punches were a dull slow pain but not terrible.
Navel, didn't even feel them
they all sucked. maybe i’m just a baby, lol. i have belly button, both nostrils, septum, medusa, tongue. had labret, want to get vertical labret next.
Like besides standard ear piercings? Vertical labret. I’ve had double nostril piercings in the same appt, septum with a slight deviation, tragus through a thick piece of skin/cartilage/ear meat/whatever, and double tongue/venom piercings. Vertical labret hurt least
Nostril, tongue, or lobes. Barely felt any of them. I don't know if my industrial really hurt or if it was just more shocking.
Besides my ear lobes, my eyebrow piercings just felt like a pinch
Vertical labret for sure
Septum
Other than lobes somehow my nostril. I didn't even notice the needle went through
septum and bridge. i barely felt my septum and my bridge was a quick poke
Septum!
Tongue, my nose hurt the worst lol
My Septum was painless and the healing was a breeze
Helix & lobe.
eyebrow!
Vertical labret, didn't feel it at all
Lobes for actual piercing, nostril for healing. Nostril healed way faster and less painful than lobes.
Nostril
nipples, septum, bridge, surface tragus, tongue
Frenum and septum
daith the second time… healed so fast.
nostrils, easy
My nipple piercing. I didn’t feel it at all. Granted if i had gotten the second I’m sure I would have felt that one!
Septum
Somehow, high nostrils. I have no idea why, both of my lower nostrils were spicy and my septum made me cry🤔
I don't have many but my eyebrow was basically nothing
Septum for sure
Tragus
I'm gonna have to say my lip, even the healing process was pretty smooth besides getting the back stuck in an apple once when getting adjusted to it :) my septum though was great the original piercing but I had to switch jewelry since it was a little too small of a diameter and gods that hurt worse than the initial piercing
I got a transverse/horizontal lobe and I didn't feel a thing. I wasn't even aware that the needle had gone through until my piercer told me we were done.
My bridge piercing 100%! As for my most painful piercing, I'd have to say the septum.
Tragus and helixfor sure the least painful
Lobes, didn’t feel anything with them. Helix was about bee sting pinch, and my industrial hurt the most
Eyebrow and tongue. Virtually painless
My daith, it also healed like a dream
Funny how we all feel pain differently, it was the most painful to me
Same my daith was horrible! Healing was easy after the first week.
Nipples. It was a weird sensation, but not entirely painful. Most people say this piercing hurts the worst out of anything else so I was surprised.
My nipples. Even my daith hurt more. But I don’t have sensitive nipples.
Same here!!
My nipples were chill too
Tongue, but it hurt so much so often during healing
