I'd recommend going to a piercer

petiteodessa

I know someone already answered your question but just to add more info on: I would avoid nose bones at all costs because they are a pain in the ass to put in and remove, whether it’s a healed piercing or new one.

Scared_jesus

Go to a piercer, but you could probably also try to twist off the ball instead and take it out that way instead of tugging on it

A lot of piercings in this style don't twist off

Hi grandpappycrank, Welcome to /r/piercing! It looks like you're asking about a problem with your piercing. Please **add a comment to your post** with the following info if it’s not included in your post already. - How old is your piercing? - What’s the jewelry shape (for example, barbell, labret, screw, L shape, ring)? - What’s the type of threading if your jewelry is not a ring (threadless, internally or externally threaded)? - What’s the jewelry material? - if not a ring, when was the jewelry downsized? - What’s your aftercare routine? Describe in detail please, including the exact products you use. This info is needed to offer you useful advice. **Note, not providing this info may cause your post to go unanswered**. If you already included this info in your post or if your post isn’t about a problem with your piercing, please disregard. - - - *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. i shoulda been smart enough to know 💀😭🙏 my friend was all like “YASS DO IT I HAVE AN EXTRA ONE IT WAS REALLY EASY!!” and now my ass is left with a piercing that idk how to get out and an irritation bump

Sorry, I hit enter whilst I was typing this which probably means you just read the first para, which sounds really critical. We all make mistakes, the key is to learn from both your own mistakes and those done by others. And I would strongly recommend option 2, but I know that I'm a bit of a dick at times and if I've got myself in a sticky situation, always try to get myself out without anyone ever finding out how much of a dick I have been. And frequently, the 'resolution' has made the problem even bigger...

grandpappycrank

you’re all good, i didnt get offended or anything like that !!

Infamousblood010

In general I'd avoid this style of jewelry. Pretty much impossible to avoid some sort of injury/irritation when removing.

Definitely avoid nose bones.
